This video is AMAAAAAZIIIIIING! I don't recall learning about concrete and abstract nouns either. I remember plain ole simple nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, etc. Now I have to ensure my daughter understands concrete and abstract nouns, well, I had to make sure I understood them first. I used this video to help reinforce the information and at the end of it I really understand what they are!
I watched this in my classroom in England and it had helped me so much
Although I was dying of laughter!!! I love this so much! Thanks! 😍
me too
but at North Dakota
How can't I stop watching this
Can't wait to use this in my next lesson! Very cool, thanks guys!
I loved this. What a great way to learn concrete vs abstract
I showed this to my 5th graders when we reviewed concrete and abstract nouns, and they've asked me to play it several times since. :) Definitely a fun song and video!
Seriously, I wonder how many of our greats: like Shakespeare, the Brontë Sisters, and so on knew this stuff.
Or did someone just invent it to look good on a test?
I’m serious. Do we need to know how the internal combustion engine works to drive well? Do we need to understand the working of CPU at microcode level to write code in C - which is about as low level as it gets for most programmers?
I could give example after example. What matters to me as a writer is getting the point across in as little time as required but no less.
Einstein was, I believe, the person who introduced this concept in science but it could have been Feynman I’m not sure.
This is the best video about education ever!!! It's so catchy
So awesome I listened to this at school this week and we are learning about it and abstract nouns are awesome :-)
Listened to this around 7th grade when this came out and this brought back memories

This video made me understand,by abstract means and concrete means ❤
Such a fun way to learn
When did they start teaching this? I've never heard of concrete and abstract nouns. 20 years ago we just had nouns....proper nouns, pronouns. How does this apply to real life? I'm not downing the video, I think they did a wonderful job with it. I'm just curious as to the relevance of the subject matter to real life.
We watched this vid for English class last week
What is Material noun
Material vs concrete
Easy and nice Leone
