Both are solid cars!
The 1999 Toyota Sienna I wrote to you about with the running light issue had a similar problem and it was bothering me as well as I knew it wasn't always that way making a noise. I lucked out in that the 1999 had two 10mm nuts that worked loose. I tightened both and problem was gone. Great video...glad you made it. Thank you.
The check strap was driving me crazy on our old Suburban, and after a look I realized the bushings were shot. The mechanism was surprisingly complex, and that design does not permit replacing bushings alone. Being cheap, I decided to procrastinate by lubricating the snot out of it with lithium grease. Within a week the sound was gone.
Those are quite the pain yo deal with !!

This is my next job on our Camry. The door is loosey goosey and were gonna ding someone as it just swings loose if its open.

All toyotas have this issue. Had a 2022 4Runner with 8k miles and it did the same thing. It annoyed the hell outta me, especially since it was $50k new
