The part where he was catching food as it was tossed to him in his mouth, and then eating it brought a huge smile to my face, along with memories of my family's malamute-husky! My dad had a garden with a bunch of raspberry bushes, and every time he went out to pick them, our dog would go with him because he loved raspberries. So, my dad, knowing this, would toss him the occasional raspberry to eat as he was picking them. Our dog would just snatch them out of the air and eat them in seconds. Such a funny, goofy dog with an enormous, intelligent and friendly personality! It was a sad day, especially for my dad, who got along with him best, when he died..........

Sad that Key can't enjoy chicken. Sam has had a couple of operations, and after he comes to, the vets always give him chicken, which disappears at light speed! :-) In theory he enjoys the taste, but the chicken doesn't touch the sides going down. He is a chicken "black hole" whenever he get it.

A bit of smooshing might do the trick...dogs are carnivores mate...meat...me dog eats chicken, beef, turkey and he likes albacore tuna every once in a while. A little cooked broccoli thrown in for gut health...

Back when I was a kid. We used to have a Siberian Samoyd. I think that's how you spell it. But anyways he used to eat his food laying down. He would pull the bowl close to him and eat. If we scooted the bowl away from him he would push himself along the floor to get just close enough to reach out and scooted the bowl back to himself to eat.
I love how well takenncare off he is. Mum and nanna i could think of a dog whos treated better than your cheeky boy. Hes such a good boy with incredible intelligence and his love for mum and nanna makes me feel all warm inside. ❤❤❤
