  • Almost a year ago I began transitioning my digital products and service business (Convology) to SureCart for my checkout and sales funnel. Although I still love and recommend ThriveCart (and still use it for two of my other businesses), I needed a couple more features that I simply couldn't find/get anywhere else. J

    Excellent walk through Doug - thanks. You asked about a video showing creating a free plan option in the account downgrades - this would be perfect for my situation. So that video idea has my vote. Thanks!

    Wow... I never knew those things about ThriveCart... maybe you could do another video about 'gotchas' with Thrivecart. I wonder what else is doesn't do as good as other options.

    Great video Doug. Thinking of moving over too, question though ... are you having to have members re-signup via the new cart or can they be migrated over? (we're on Thrive apprentice btw)

    thanks Doug! Awesome video. Does SureCart do One-click upsells and downsells? I see order bumps but wasn't sure how that works. The rest looks amazing.

    Thank you for another informative video!! I have downloaded the free version and I’m process of figuring out the set up. I do have a question about the multiple pricing options. I was wondering if I need to use only one membership product in Sure-cart with my plans/levels being the different price points? My question then is when accessing via thrive - how do you indicate different access routes to various information- as the information for each level (or price point) would be different.

    • @Convology
      @Convology  Год назад

      Products can have only one price point of a certain type. For example, only one price point for a one-time purchase and only one monthly subscription price and only one quarterly subscription price, etc. What you can do is create multiple products each at a price point that you want, then add them all to a single checkout form with a price selector. Then you can use Thrive Automator or SureTriggers to fire off actions depending on which product was the purchased product.

    Is it possible to have multiple products “add to cart” buttons on one page in a similar setup to an affiliate buyers guide?

      Yes, I have a video coming out showing this exact feature next Monday.

    What membership level do you have with SureCart Doug that allows you all this functionality - I may have missed that?

    • @Convology
      @Convology  11 месяцев назад +1

      I recommend the business level or higher. Anything below the business level loses out on too many features that I would say are necessary. Everyone I showed in the video is doable on the business plan. I personally own 2 business plans and a pro plan for three businesses.

    so, do I have to buy SureCart for every WordPress website that I want to create?

    • @Convology
      @Convology  8 месяцев назад +1

      Each plan is for one store. The concept of "how many websites" does not exist in SureCart. You can install SureCart on infinite sites, but if you use the same plan then it will be the same store on all sites and offer the same products and be tied to the same business. If you want multiple businesses and multiple stores, then you need multiple SureCart plans.

    So the actual data is hosted on surecart servers somewhere someplace? Oh hell to the NO!

    • @Convology
      @Convology  Год назад +1

      All financial data is stored with the integratedpayment processor (Like Stripe or PayPal). All account data is stored on your Wordpress site. They simply have the customer's email address to pair it with your orders. No different from any cart tool on the market (ThriveCart, Samcart, WooCommerce, etc). The only data stored completely on their end are any "downloads" that you choose willingly to store with them (but you have the option to store on your own servers).
      The benefit of headless is that the loading of the scripts and the SaaS tool are loaded on their end, not on your own server. This takes the load off of your server and allows you to use your store on multiple sites simultaneously. Again, no different from ThriveCart, Shopify, SamCart, etc.

      @@Convology but theoretically if their servers go down or get compromised you're SOL no? I'll download and install a local copy and poke around the code, but I'm def uneasy about any piece of software the offloads data to their servers. Also woocommerce data is stored locally woocommer e doesnt have access to anything.

    • @Convology
      @Convology  Год назад +1

      @@Zp00kie It's no different from Shopify, ThriveCart, SamCart, etc. Zero difference, except that there's even less on SureCart's end than most. The WooCommerce comparison is accurate in that WooCommerce stores customer data on your own site/server, which is infinitely more vulnerable. Just like SureCart, WooCommerce doesn't store any credit card information. All of that is with Stripe. There's no increase in vulnerability.
