Thats actually not true. When it comes to music, especially ones that are adopted elsewhere, most effective languages are not the melodic ones but ones that are flexible, void of any natural rhythm. Turkish, which isn't a melodic language is internationally recognised for its music. Even when they parody other languages they find great success due to how flexible their language is when it comes to music and sounds, a recent example is Zeynep Bastık's parody "Ara" that has more likes and views than the original French version.
