What a job! great skill you got. Maybe one day I'll be sitting next to a 4 shaft and weave as good as you do thank you.

I just bought a table loom (8 shaft). After I learn how to warp and use it (actually, I will have to assemble it first...). Then I will try to weave bath towels like yours. Thanks for the information about which type of threads are needed. I sew my own garments, I wish that I will be able to weave my fabric too.

I really like the idea of bath towels. I would love to hear how your friend likes it. If possible, would you spend a few minutes in an upcoming video talking about floating selvages? I would like to understand why and when you use them as well as how you set it up on the loom. FYI, I have a 32" 8-shaft Ashford table loom. Thank you.

Beautiful pattern!! I use a bathsheet pattern from LunaticFringe. It uses 3/2 cotton warp and I use boucle for the weft.
Could you please share that pattern with me? Here is my pattern.

Jaci, I'm using your pattern, you sent it to me a couple months ago. All I did was change the type of thread and the colors.

@@curmudgeon66 you named someone else as sending the pattern...lol. I love the colors!! How do you like the texture? I am just now threading it again for my granddaughter's bd present and a couple for myself.

@@jacalynbledsoe3717 As it is your pattern, is it possible to give more information about it?

    • @jacalynbledsoe3717

@@Miezekatzenfan-yv8kq it is not my pattern per se. I purchased it from LunaticFringe. I believe it is listed as " In the Buff Bathsheets". They actually have a texture that is accentuated when Boucle is used instead of the 3/2 cotton. 3/2 cotton is called for in the warp. I have given 4 of these towels as birthday gifts and the recipients have raved about them.
