Its just a matter of length retention. Hair not breaking off or being yanked out via tight styles. Hair isnt made to be slicked and braided and twisted back as tight as possible for months on end. You let it breathe and leave it alone most of the time. And make sure your body is getting nutrients. She cut her hair 2 years ago. Its right on pace with retention.

For me I Preepoo wednesdays with aloe vera (the plant) , Saturday I wash/condition and Sunday I deep condition with a Ayurvedic hair mask. Other good thing to use get a clarifying shampoo use it once a month so you can have a clean scalp which will absorb any oils or grease you use to grow your hair out .
