Oh Thank you for cleaning it. You clean so many parts but just wanted to see it clean. I’m a nurse so you are one hard working guy. Your immune system must be fantastic. Keep on pumping that milk. You are a breath of fresh air.
I had a customer with a similar situation with their skid steer. I got some pre fab trailer fenders and cut and fit them to their machine. Quick and cheap and kept the "mud" from getting slung all over.
If everyone was a farmer taking care of animals, the land and equipment the world would be paradise. Thanks so much for you and your fams hard work Jan.
I know you read my comment and I thank you for actually reading comments. Clean machinery last longer runs cooler and you can see safety issues like cracks and bad hoses. I know its a never ending job but that machine new cost almost 50 grand US when its new. I had several of them I know first hand what they cost.
Sitting here having a cup of coffee and I’m so glad this notification came up, good morning Jan and all your fans! This situation has been so lonely and depressing, all you RUclips content providers have helped me through all this and I love you all! Jan you always get my thumbs up first thing because you never disappoint!
Good response to comments! What's not to like! Most of us have never seen the kind of equipment you use every day. Also people gotta say, farmers are not some dumb hayseeds anymore. They have to be smart and educated to run all this stuff! A lot of cattle! It's clear you really try to make interesting videos, and to appear happy and cheerful the whole time.i think over 68 thousand subs and the six thousand views this video already received on it's first day bode well for your channel, and you deserve to feel a sense of accomplishment. God bless you and your family!
The Skid Steer looked new for a few minutes. This vlog came out so quickly, I almost expected a WHAM of a surprise like "10th Generation Farmer" delivered. Although Fall is my favorite season; it must be good to see the snow gone in the Spring in Saskatchewan. Almost time to be getting into the field 👍👍👍👍👍
When I was young and working in the woods I wore black sweatshirts was stung at least once a day turn out the yellow jackets can sense or see the added heat and sense it’s black bear. As soon as I changed to light colors I stopped getting stung but the yellow jackets seemed to land on me out of curiosity. Luca
Good job my friend....i think you got the best video s on you tube when it comes to farm life and your care and love for the animals,,, i think thats awesome.
WOW Jan, there must have been quite a few pounds of stuff on that puppy. It looks really great all cleaned up. But it has to be used for work and the minerr all over it just makes it look tough. The bees think you are a flower. Thanks for the video.
You’re a brave man......., in my experience when you start pulling off that much mud you generally find about...., oh......, 30..,thousand hydraulic leaks LOL
It needs to have fenders so the tires don't throw it up into the body. You are so handy around the farm in sure your parents are very proud of the man you have become
A simple square frame of 1&1/2" pvc pipe with spray nozzles on the sides, top and bottom (bottom pipe is iron) to run it thru daily would cut down on the build up. I made one for driving my truck and boat thru to wash off the sand and sea salt. Saves me tons of time and effort. Took me a trip to the hardware store and less than a day to put it together. It takes 2 people to move it but you have plenty of room to set it up permanently inside were it wouldn't freeze. It's not like you have have anything else to do! LOLOL!!!
Washing it gave you the chance to inspect and maintain a critical piece of daily equipment. That's another way of looking at it. I could just imagine all the ecoli germs in that manure being jetted into your breathing space by the power washer. A face shield would help you out there I imagine. You must have developed superhero antibodies from working ankle deep in manure for so long though because you seem so healthy. Thanks for doing the wash finally to get us fans off your case about it.😉👍
It’s doesn’t have to be chain drive specifically, I’m sure there’s a equipment manufacturer out there that makes something to fit this specific application. Just seems like an automated system would be more efficient.
Hey. ha ha since the time that some ask you to wash it. good work. A question. How much slope have you put in the waiting area for cows for good water flow? Thanks for sharing. Greetings from Switzerland. François
Yep i found that bovines are also sensitive to different colours. It's not only bees. Bovines are supposed to be colour blind. I found they were always more skittish with the hi vis flouro gear
That's bobcat for you! You sould look at the new Kubota skidsteers much more enjoyable to run better engineering. The loader and driving controls are joysticks. And the loader has a damping system when you let it down. We use to have one of the biggest they make. It's in our videos on Leussink Farms Custom Farming Bros RUclips channel, you sould check them out. Oh we also had a JCB telliskid just as good of a machine as the kabota. The nicest thing on the JCB and the Kubota is the door it can't be hit by the loader. Also your cab needs a good cleaning too! Lol
It's a Bob Cat! It's white under all of that! I feel your pain, I used to work on trucks that hauled crude oil. They were always dirty, clean them up and service them and they got dirty again. Do they make fenders for Bob Cat's? That would do wonders for keeping it cleaner.
Boyd Gilbreath / if they are going to spend like they have for that beautiful dairy I think the time and benefits would pay for itself with a small automatic machine wash/rinse the size of a garage but tall enough to fit all the tractors 🚜 down to the smallest skid steer. It’s just an idea but It was a serious idea!
I guess they should go back to hand milking instead of spending all that money on the new barns and milking parlors, improvements will pay for themselves.
Circumstances sure work against keeping the skid loader clean but like you say periodic cleaning keeps it going. Seems like there aren't enough hours in a day to get work, done but somehow you make it happen. Take care and stay safe.
Hi Jan! Oh thank you for cleaning the Bobcat! I've been wanting to say something but refused as I know how busy you all are. It was actually fun seeing you get sprayed back! LOL But in a way disgusting! LOL Yea I bet a shower would feel great!!! You are one special person, thanks for the awesome videos, they are always great to watch! Stay safe and healthy Jan! Looking forward to the next one........
it is about time you clean that thing and are old john deere 320 skid steer just died and now we have to do all of are skid steer work with are 2018 kubota ssv 75 and let me tell you it is hard to dump feed in to the box stall feeder and i just cleaned it 2 days ago
Good video!!! The bob cat needs some sort of mud guard. Like you say it is destined to be covered in slurry for most of its life. Next time get a skid steer in brown it might not show up so much!!!
Great video. You make your point well that it's impossible to keep it clean. Love your positioning of the camera to get the great shots. HEY BOBCAT: Maybe your upcoming models could have a swinging floor pan beneath the pedals, so your customers can easily hose out the gunk periodically.
Should try a 0degree tip on the pressure washer. I worked in Alberta one summer washing side booms for pipeline and that’s what I used worked really good. Cuts threw that hard crusty stuff like butter.
Not going to lie, that skid steer was GROSS!! Good job cleaning it up! And yes, we noticed when you cleaned the wheels the splatter went straight into your face 😆
This was fascinating. Herd Management is a good thing, yeh? I couldn't guess the Bobcat was predominantly white! It is too bad about the interior floor being so dirty and no apparent way to wash it out. Do you have a younger sibling who is out of money at the moment :D? Stay safe (and clean).
HaHa. The "ladies" won't know what to think when they see this brand new thing passing through their barn!! Excellent 'git 'er done" music choice too! :D Wash your face?!! Now I know why you have that glowing face. Could you market that Manure Mask treatment?!! ;D Love it! Thanks for another informative and creative video.
Oh Thank you for cleaning it. You clean so many parts but just wanted to see it clean. I’m a nurse so you are one hard working guy. Your immune system must be fantastic. Keep on pumping that milk. You are a breath of fresh air.
thank you Robbie for the front line work you do, stay safe and God bless!
The corona is just the flu all the old people or people with problems get it then that's how all the people die
@@johndeereguy6686 nope its alot worse than that now
He's somethin but no breath of fresh air... Obviously you've never been to a dairy farm.
@@johndeereguy6686 sike... i would expect someone with john deere in their name to say some dumb shit like that
i liked the power slide turn @ 6:33 I love all your clean well cared for cows, i hope all my dairy products come from farmers like you!
I had a customer with a similar situation with their skid steer.
I got some pre fab trailer fenders and cut and fit them to their machine.
Quick and cheap and kept the "mud" from getting slung all over.
Those pedals have a access panel in front of the machine when you lift the arms up it has one acces hole for each panel, i believe its a 5/8 socket
Luke Gilpin yeah if you take them off you can pressure wash all that crap out
I’ll have to check that out! Thanks!!
This been the most satisfying video of your channel thus far! So happy you guys gave that thing a bath!
If everyone was a farmer taking care of animals, the land and equipment the world would be paradise. Thanks so much for you and your fams hard work Jan.

Thank you for the video. Glad to see the BobCat get cleaned & serviced. They are hard workers 😊👍💕
Man! The excitement of farming...thank u Jan👍👏

michael :: me too
I agree 💯
Man, he got skills running that skid steer like an ice capade show.
Almost like a zamboni
Yes
It impresses me how all of these young farmers handle the equipment!
@Albert Alonzo insta portal a scam stop
Oh thank goodness. All this time I was afraid he never saw the crap on that.

I'd just like to say thank you and your family for all the hard work you do everyday to feed us everyday.
3:37 “he took his hat off” 🤯
Great job on this video. Love watching what you do on the farm. Yes, that bright shirt, bees thought you was a giant flower.
Holy shit the fastest intro I have ever seen. Not just sitting around and talking. Getting right to the point. Good video!!!
Bobcat needs to make "Crap Flaps"
Haha!
They just need fenders in general as an option. I’m sure that machine would be half as dirty as it is.
Should have taken it to the detail geek. He would have screamed blue murder.
@james probably would have looked like a normal Canadian vehicle. lol
Lol
i dont think detail geek's collection system can handle that much dirt

Great video Jan. I admire the fact that ya do what ya gotta, manure or not! And you are a precision driver as well!
You rock man, keep up the great work and humoring the fans.
I found myself laughing at that part Jan washes his face...i dint expect it to be that gentleeee and twice only 😄
Love your videos. Keep up the great work.
Good job my friend....i think you got the best video s on you tube when it comes to farm life and your care and love for the animals,,, i think thats awesome.
Watching all the way from South Africa 🇿🇦
Ek ook.
Lol same year
Dude i love the stuff you do on here man keep up the good work brutha
Don’t frighten the cows when you back in with the clean skid steer. I’d have wet it down and then given it a chance to soften while I had a cuppa.
What a modern and amazing operation you have.
Lol, who doesn’t love this kid? He’s a bad ass hard worker boys
the skid steer really deserved that cleaning :D
Eye protection goggles my friend. I used to never use them until I got a piece of debris in my right eye. Had to go to the E.R.
Great video sir. You do make running the skid steer look very easy. It's like a dance sequence. Thanks for sharing.
Cool! That bobcat had its fifteen minutes of clean! 👍🏻
WOW Jan, there must have been quite a few pounds of stuff on that puppy. It looks really great all cleaned up. But it has to be used for work and the minerr all over it just makes it look tough. The bees think you are a flower. Thanks for the video.
Manure management on a dairy farm ... never ending! Surprised the skid steer wasn't dirtier after scraping the barn.
Loved seeing the Bobcat getting cleaned, sorry it doesn't last very long, but it was good to see there is paint under all the manure.
You’re a brave man......., in my experience when you start pulling off that much mud you generally find about...., oh......, 30..,thousand hydraulic leaks LOL
You know it's a good day's work when you need to take the pressure washer to yourself at the end of it all!
I love the background music and the slow mo power washing part
It needs to have fenders so the tires don't throw it up into the body. You are so handy around the farm in sure your parents are very proud of the man you have become
That's how it is when I clean my house. I work so hard to make it look nice and then my kids immediately mess it back up.
Those are kids for you.

just wondering why you guys didn't install chain scrapers when you built the barn?
Because they have sand bedding, sand is very hard on the chain and corner wheels
It’s doesn’t have to be chain drive specifically, I’m sure there’s a equipment manufacturer out there that makes something to fit this specific application. Just seems like an automated system would be more efficient.

Look no rust either!!! glad to see it done.
He is too funny but a hard worker!!! Hello from West Texas!!!
Daddy Cornstar waxes his tractors and it helps keep them cleaner longer. You are one hard working Guy.
Who does your hoof care? It would be a great video to see the hoof care being done. Thanks..
This is so satisfying to see after making the comment about it not being dirt but actually a crust protecting the paint several videos back.
Need some fenders. Rinse it when done so it doesn't build up. Good video. Very busy with milking and chores nice barn and Corrales
Actually very beautiful machine! Great Job!
The DAY has finally come!! I clicked so fast when I found this video!
Canada's Dirtiest Jobs. Resurrection of white.

Why did I say, "Oh thank God!" It has been driving me crazy! LOL
Mike Rowe would have been in heaven.
you need an automatic car wash so you can just drive through before parking machines.
Not serious, right? They need yet another expensive machine to maintain like they need a hole in the head!
Boyd Gilbreath / if they are going to spend like they have for that beautiful dairy I think the time and benefits would pay for itself with a small automatic machine wash/rinse the size of a garage but tall enough to fit all the tractors 🚜 down to the smallest skid steer. you did a great job on that skid loader, looks like you really get into your work doing that lol great video and great job too thanks
Nice video im a Farmer in Switzerland thats nice job. Stay like u are 😋😂💪🏼
I.am farmer in the neterlands
Wow, what a difference that made, I am impressed!
🤯😳😲😱
I really like your staging race! As a hoof trimmer I would love to have the animals lined up like that behind the chute..
In the intro with the combine, what are you harvesting?
Good video!!!

YOU need a bath now!!!! hahahaha. Well done mate!
Lol... It looks very sweet, I wonder if you could coat it with Rain-X and all that stuff with just slide off instead of sticking!
Thank the Gods! I love you channel and the content you are putting out. However that thing was filthy! Glad you cleaned it if only for a few minutes!
I always forget our handler is yellow, but it's always brilliant to get the machines looking good again
i’ve been waiting for this day, oml!
Watching all the way from Uganda❤️
Beatifull bobcat,
Washed once of week. You're a hard working person.

Another great educational video
Finally it looks so much better
That was satisfying. It was driving me nuts🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Stay safe Jan.
Have you considered some sort of fender over the tires? Maybe cut down old tires or sheet metal?
This was fascinating. Herd Management is a good thing, yeh? I couldn't guess the Bobcat was predominantly white! It is too bad about the interior floor being so dirty and no apparent way to wash it out. Do you have a younger sibling who is out of money at the moment :D? Stay safe (and clean).
My golden rule is clean anything above ankle height, unless you want to feel guilty whenever you get in
Invest in a turbo nozzle for power washer you love it it cleans better and faster.
Do you market direct your feeder steers or do you just take them locally to a sale?
Your intro is top notch!
Excellent video and a beautiful farm but why not ally scrapers?
HaHa. The "ladies" won't know what to think when they see this brand new thing passing through their barn!! Excellent 'git 'er done" music choice too! :D Wash your face?!!
