Hope to bring you walk and chat's, narrations and natural sound walks, we enjoy them at at the mo' so happy to keep them coming. Hope all's well with you mate?
It's always interesting to hear a candid interview with people who have relocated. It's something that intrigues many of us. Thanks JP and Mike, good questions and good honest answers.
Hi BIAF, thanks it's always interesting to hear about peoples lives when they've been in a place for a while and have had a range of experiences, so we were pleased to get JP to chat to us. All the best to you chum.
Interesting point on the moving costs , 50,000 euros seems a lot to move from one similar property to another, I think if someone is going to comment on cost there should be some factors laid out in terms of what that statement consists of , now i guess and can only imaging that part of the 50,000 would be the new purchase costs which is approximately 10% of the purchase price and in many cases much less than that, selling costs only consist of estate agents fees and if a person is a non tax resident a 3% tax retention / capital gains tax, if a person is a tax resident then that capital gains can be rolled over if the property is a only resident property .. I think one of the statements that should have been made it to speak to experts in the field for a full breakdown , because certainly if you are selling a 100,000 euro apartment it does not come to 50,000 relocation costs .
Very interesting video! Can you elaborate a little more on the big expense that is moving between houses? You mentioned taxes etc, which kind in particular? Thank you.
Good to see you putting John at ease, so he answered your questions with candour Mike. More interviews and walks please!!
