Acqua Di Gio Profondo was my go to scent this summer. Just love it. But Profumo is a timeless classic as well. Both fantastic in their own way. I'd say Profondo is for the day, Profumo for evening andv night out.

Spot-on...I have both. Profondo is fresher and more of a day scent whereas Profumo is a bit formal suitable for evening.
Well said. I completely agree. I have both and love both. Profondo was my favorite daytime fragrance this past summer, but the sophistication of Profumo is undeniable and better suited for night. Though similar, I do not find them overly redundant. I already invested in back-up bottles of both.

Good video. Few fragrances are made to shine in high, humid heat. Profoundo has been praised for its performance in high heat locations, such as Arizona. Here in tropical north east Australia, I need fresh fragrances that will perform at their best during typical 34 Celsius, +95% humidity days. TBH, during the monsoon season, even after frequent cold showers, my skin stinks and the right fragrances can make me feel more like domesticated human being rather than a sweaty animal. The best fragrances work even when the skin is damp with sweat. The idea is to use such a fragrance as a body spray after a cold shower before putting on clothes.

Profundo is definitely more mass appealing with the added freshness. Profumo is just amazing though for summer nights with that smokiness. I’d definitely recommend Profundo for day and Profumo for night.
Profondo just took my hearth . It is crazy how it is fresh and last longer on my skin, just love it for hot days, my signature cologne.

Is it me, or does Stronger with you Intensely smell like Spice Bomb Extreme? I had a sample of intensely and that's what I thought, unless it was a dodgy sample.

Love em both. Have a hard time choosing which one to wear everyday. Each time I think I like the other more I try again the next day and switch my opinion.

Just ordered Profundo and Acqua di Gio Parfum. I also have the original flanker Profumo. Which ever fragrances I wear from the 3, I will still be smelling so fresh and so clean clean. 😁

I own Profumo and I truly enjoy it. It's just a classic, sophisticated and mature fragrance for the modern man and has garnered me compliments. I've found out that most young girls lean toward Profondo while women lean more toward Profumo because it's more mature. Great review guys!

that's only the battle of the top notes. compare the fragrances after 1 hour and you will see that Profumo will always Win.
Love Profumo! Can’t imagine someone thinking that Profondo is more masculine. I can understand them saying Profumo smells for a more mature guy. I wear Profondo when it’s more casual and out in the sun. Profumo when it’s dinner or get-together.

Although I only own Profondo, I think I prefer Profondo due to the lack of the incense. Not sure incense works well when you want something fresh, hence why D&G Light Blue Intense was such an improvement on the original Light Blue.
I have Polo Blue EDP which is quite similar to Profondo, and is underrated.

@@zhemzhem1819 I agree about the EDT. The EDP is smoother and removed the synthetic cucumber and watermelon notes. Still a bit synthetic but no more than light blue intense, for example. It’s a decent shower gel scent that’s very versatile.
Profondo is better for every day use, office, school, etc..but Profumo is just a better fragrance and is my go to for night outs and late evenings. Profumo for day use office and so on can be too much for people around you. I have both.

Online. I changed cologne tho. Now I wear, armaf club de nuit intense man edt which is a replica of creed aventus

I heard Aqua Dio Gio Profumo is discontinued!...Very Nice Guys....Its weird for me to here so many women say its to feminine for them....Maybe they are saying to sweet......
I've had multiple compliments while wearing Profumo.
Just last night actually a woman who was working at a restaurant told me I smelled wonderful.
In my experience, Profumo works better in a bit warmer temperature because it seems to project more in warmer temperatures, at least on my skin.

I just picked up the blue one and when i tested the smell and went to another one i kept getting drawed back to the blue one no matter how many others i try.Its just something about it that makes me attract to it
I literally smelled about 20 different colognes at a sephora. The impact "profundo" made stayed with me. It stood out amongst everything even tom fords.

After Profondo, everything else is just disappointing. I have other fragrances, but I can’t bring myself to wear them when Profondo smells so good.

buen VS, aunque me gusta mucho mas profumo, y creo que igual el versus al poner una fragancia mas pesada de clima mas frio, de uso de noche y mas de fiesta contra una de dia para el verano, para el dia y el VS al estar hecho en clima mas veraniego, era mas facil de irse por el aroma mas fresco, al igual que hubiera sido de noche en un clima mas frio, de noche o un lugar de juerga creo que se hubieran ido por la profumo.

Profumo all the way, it's just a more elegant, darker, sexier fragrance. Profundo is good, but it's an ambroxan/amberwood bomb that's interchangeable with other Blue fragrances like Sauvage, Dylan Blue and Y EDP.
That’s true but the same can be said about Profumo. I own the entire Aqua Di Gio line and enjoy all of them. However Bleu de Chanel Parfum is greater tha n Profumo.

@@5iveoceanshells smellsluxurious, Profumo to me at least in the opening smells kinda dirty not the biggest fan bought a 180 ml bottle when it came out. I like Essenza way better but that’s discontinued.

@@5iveoceanshells when it was readily available didn’t care for it got Profumo instead. I had to pay top dollar to get 2 bottles I paid $170 for each both 75ml. The regular price on these here in the States is $100 for 75ml.
Close race! I'm interested in seeing La Nuit de L'Homme Bleu Eletrique battle it out, I've heard good things about it. Either against a popular blue frag like Y EdP/BDC.. maybe even the undisputed Dylan Blue? 👀 Or perhaps just VS the original LNDL to see how good of a flanker it really is!
I definitely want to see the original formulation of LNDL vs the new Bleu Electrique!! It would be unfair to put the Bleu Electrique against the newer formulations of LNDL though.

When I spray Profumo, the opening smells pretty much the same as the drydown haha... Maybe skin chemistry has something to do with it?

Definitely Profondo. Profumo is better for fall and winter. Profondo and the original EDT are best for spring and summer.

Way too close but I myself enjoy Profondo more, even better I like the newest one Profondo Lights it’s more interesting. If the discontinuation of Profumo is true it was replaced by a great one with Profondo. It’s the best one in the line currently available.

unlike a lot of people throwing comments here i own both fragances and all i can say is that profumo beats profondo by far, profumo is way more sexy, classy, sophisticated and head turner, that incense note is gorgeous and perfectly blend, profondo is great, but it has a salty note in the opening that i dont like but once it dries down it gets very good, ill say PROFUMO is 10/10, PROFONDO is 8.5/10, you will get compliments from both fragances, profumo is more linear and consistent from beggining to end while profondo really shines after an hour, if you want something better than profondo get chanel allure homme sport EDT, it is just as fresh but with a beautiful creamy/aromatic feel to it added, absolutely gorgeous and better than profondo imo.
I respect your opinion however my opinion is the total opposite lol tbf they are both awesome fragrances I'd say profundo is a bit better and so is absolu too and then 3rd place be porfumo all of them done by Alberto morrilias he's awesome

I just bought Profondo and it's a masterpiece. It smells better and lasts much longer than the original ADG. Profumo is next on my list.
