I was a part of this choir. I have still not been able to even process this experience to South Africa. It was beyond mind blowing. Is is one that I will cherish forever and will never forget.
Honestly, I don't know how anyone can listen to this spectacular arrangement by Michael Barrett of this beautiful traditional Xhosa hymn without tears in their eyes. Most beautiful piece of choral music ever.
I love how they paid attention to detail even with the lyrics and pronunciation of the words... you guys did well 😢😢😢😢
I sung this song with my high school choir, and it moved us all to tears, even my director. This was his last concert with us, and we all loved having him. I can't wait to start this fall at MSU.
Who's here 2024?❤
Wooow, You guys nailed it. I'm South African and I honestly couldn't tell that this was being persomed by Americans.
I am not religious. But every single time I listen to this I am connected with the divine for a few minutes. Haunting. Well done.
In memory of my best friend who lost her battle with covid 19

Didn't know I could hear color. Wow.
When the hands came up........chills
I am speechless 😭😭 quite literally... All I can say is how speechless I am😭😭 the diction, the blending, the majesty tampered with tenderness. I'm not Christian, but this is what I imagine heaven would feel like. Love from South Africa💕💕💕
A pure, raw naked representation of the emotional sorrow and despair a father feels at losing a son. Whether one is religious or not, this piece does not draw at the heartstrings; it shatters them. Such a beautiful, performance. Thank you.
