I've said it before and I'll say it again: This is such a cool series. Why companies don't make their own videos like this of pros talking about their tour series molds, I'll never understand
2021 Sexton Firebird never leaves my bag and it flies exactly how Nate describes it. It is a reliable disc when you need something to go straight for a while with no chance of flipping over, and then dump relatively hard to the left. Compared to my normal Firebirds the Sexton variant flies flat much longer. Love it.
I've got a Fuzion Felon that does Sexton Firebird things. Glides straight for a long time but will always come back. I'm too poor to buy the real thing
@@WeAreAllFake I think I had the 2020 ones and lost one and it was very hard to find vs just buying a raptor which is why I have stayed using the raptor in that slot
I bag 3 firebirds. Champ, Star, and 22 NS Firebird. Champ is my utility disc. I use it up to 250'. Star I don't use as much, but I can get it about 360-370 on a flat throw. The NS is a mix of the 2, but the plastic feels much better.
@@JoshJackson13 The machete actually hurts my hand/arm to throw. I have no idea why, but it does. The champ firebird is much easier on me and gives me the hyzer I need.
My seasoned '21 goes pretty far on an anny backhand, almost rivaling my favorite Teebird, and I'm not a big distance thrower. Imo it's the perfect step up from a Teebird in terms of stability.
The difference to me is the speed and width of rim. Bigger hands I notice that Thunderbird throws great, with more consistent fade and smaller hands get that feel and flies as far as larger ppl with less effort
They fly kinda in between a Firebird and Thunderbird, but the mold is a Firebird. The biggest difference between the feel of a Thunderbird and Firebird is just how blunt the nose of the Firebird is. Biggest draw though is the Color Glow plastic, which is my personal favorite. It's very grippy and supple just as Nate says.

If only every Sexton firebird review came with the man himself. Top notch content.
These look super versatile. I'd love to see you review the Era.
Love the Era. If you like hyzer-flips and 10-speeds that go for days, it's the tits.
Everybody knows that the Sexton CG Firebird is the word! 👍

Was at milo last weekend. Love it there. Ive been loving the series Eric. Great check in/review on a legendary disc at this point
Two of my favorite golfers! Sick! 🔥 🐦
This really makes me wanna buy one of these
You & Nate are two of the most wholesome people in the sport. Please have him back on again soon!
These fly more os than my 21 from last year that had a bit more glide before the finish
i absolutely love my 2021 sexybird
Haha, what a coincidence, the disc I bag instead of a sexybird is an s-line EO Scepter lol
Champion color glow plastic is just amazing though.
You just love to see it... Nice vid Eric.
Best one yet, always look forward to these videos!!!
Pure class, both these guys! Good stuff!!!
I wanted to watch this because I saw it was milo and I just played there the other day. Threw my forehand upshot into that same tree Eric! hahahaa

11:37 had me dying laughing
I’ve been a raptor guy because I was scared of losing sexton firebirds and not being able to replace them but this video makes me want one
They've upped production is recent years. The 2022's aren't hard to find at retail price.

Feel like this disc could find your bag. Awesome video!
I loved this. I really do want to try one now

Those old pop top champs are meat hooks. I have all three too. But i bag the machete for utilitiy and pyro for the 300 throw. I like the fireball too

15:50 Why can't you thank Nate? He was awesome as always. 🤣
I need one
Stamp is so fire
Love a good sexton firebird!
Nate Oakley is my favorite
Love mine! Thanks Nate!
These tour ones confuse me... How is it not a thunderbird?
Because it is a Firebird

Would have bought this one if it wasn't so ridiculously overpriced. Oh well, have to settle with my old beat-up star firebird.
find it in a store he says............
