I've only been to disneyworld, but all of the flowerbeds, BENCHES (which i find florida lacks) and the general look of disneyland makes it seem more magical

Not that Disney World is ugly, but this park is much more aesthetically pleasing to my eye than the park in Florida. The landscaping and the theming are just amazing!

The new hub is absolutely rotten. They ripped out the beautiful Rose Garden, filled in waterways all for a mass of concrete.
pmd101 Yeah, and the plus side about Disneyland is that 80% of its visitors are annual pass holders aka disney regulars who live in LA, so Disneyland can take their time with decor, refurbishments, touch ups because they know their visitors will experience the ride sooner or later. However Disney World does not have that option as most of their visitors come from overseas or far away places who only can come to Disney once in their lives or once every so years, so they can't afford to have maintenance and refurbishment walls all over the place and rides closed because they want their visitors to experience the most Disney as possible etc. (e.g.. Disneyland's Big Thunder Mountain was down for nearly a year for maintenance as well as improvements to the decoration, theming, scenery, while Disney World's Big Thunder Mountain was only down for a couple of months to fix basically only the necessities.) This is also why Disneyland can theme their rides for special times of the year (Haunted Mansion Holiday, It's a Small World Holiday, Space Mountain: Ghost Galaxy) and Disney World cannot.
I am currently in quarantine on my stationary exercise bike, (I put the video on 1.75x speed) pretending that I am biking through Disney.😭😭 I miss Disneyland so much! Everything is just better too. I like the authenticity of Main Street, a simple castle, it’s a small world, Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, etc are just better at Disneyland.

Disneyland seem cozier with more surprises around every corner. Bigger trees too. Magic Kingdom has wider open spaces, yet the rides are a bit different, especially the queue lines!
queue lines at Disneyland can be smaller due to the fact that Disneyland isn't crowded like Disney world is. If Los Angeles/Orange County kids are in school, the park is probably less crowded

Disneyland is the best. It was Walt's original dream. I have never been to WDW, and one day I would like to go, but I'm perfectly content visiting Disneyland often. It's just beautiful and really is the happiest place. I watch Disney Vlogs very often, and the parks at WDW definitely don't look as beautiful as Disneyland and it seems like people in general are happier at Disneyland.
I've never been to Disneyland but I always imagine it a place where you can forget about all your worries and problems and just have fun and joy for hours upon hours.

I used to live close to Disneyland and in the summer I could sit in my backyard and watch the fireworks show they had every night! And of course, I'd pop over there anytime I felt the urge. What a fun place. I remember everything you show in the video. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome video. I wish someone would make some Disneyland scenic videos where the camera doesn't pan or move, it just stays still for 15 min. Just stationary shots looking out over Disneyland. Like looking out over Rivers America from a bench, using an 11mm or 16mm lens. Or looking down Main Street from the train station. I would watch videos like that over and over again.

This was FANTASTIC! Gave me happy vibes... I've visited many a time in my life and it is one of my favorite places of all time. But this also bummed me out a bit when I realized I still have a little over a year before I get to return to Disneyland... I'll be 31 and I'm still as excited and giddy as a child at the prospect of visiting the Disney Parks!
I used to love going to Disneyland a lot when I was younger. The trick back then was to park in the Disneyland Hotel and take the monorail right into the heart of Disneyland with no long lines :) A "BIG" thumbs up :) ROCK ON!!!!!!

I was at Disneyland back in 1959 with my parents and brother and they use to have gun fights right next to the Mark Twain boat. One of the players would be up on the balcony of the saloon and the sheriff would shot at him until he dropped down to the ground and ran away. It was a lot of fun to see back then. I was supposed to go to Disneyland with my high school band as a senior in June, after 7 years of fundraising. It was like a rite of passage for band kids at my school. I hope I'll be able to go in the next few years, but it's so bittersweet because I'll be an actual adult instead of a kid going with their schoolmates and best friends.

Love their Fantasyland! WDW's New Fantasyland is my favorite area on property, but it seems like DL's is just as good. New Fantasyland has that gorgeous skyline with the beautiful waterfalls and landscapes to it. But DL Fantasyland seems "greener" overall. Can't wait to visit it one day!

Awesome videos! Next time you go back to Disneyland, could you please do a full park walk through at night? Go down Main street and hang a right into Tomorrowland? Go that way, just to mix it up a bit? I just love watching your walk through stuff on my VR headset.
The last time I was in Disneyland was 1980, at that time I was stationed at Beale AFB near Sacremento. But then I moved back to the East Coast to care for my parents. I now travel down to Walt Disney World every couple of years.

I've been there six times since 2006 and I NEVER get sick of it. The whole atmosphere is amazing.

Do you have, or could you do a video walk through at night? I love Disneyland at night with all the lights. Especially New Orleans Square. It may be too dark to do a video, but if it worked that would be awesome!!

Good job. You lucked out with some great timing shots, such as the monorail going over the submarine. I bet you held your breath through the whole tour to keep the camera smooth.
This is amazing, thank you for sharing. We've not been in 4 years (edit: in fact it was June 2014 so about 2 months after this video was uploaded) and it was 20 years for me before that. Might have to go every couple of years now.

Love their Fantasyland! WDW's New Fantasyland is my favorite area on property, but it seems like DL's is just as good. New Fantasyland has that gorgeous skyline with the beautiful waterfalls and landscapes to it. But DL Fantasyland seems "greener" overall. Can't wait to visit it one day!

Awesome videos! Next time you go back to Disneyland, could you please do a full park walk through at night? Go down Main street and hang a right into Tomorrowland? Go that way, just to mix it up a bit? I just love watching your walk through stuff on my VR headset.

The last time I was in Disneyland was 1980, at that time I was stationed at Beale AFB near Sacremento. But then I moved back to the East Coast to care for my parents. I now travel down to Walt Disney World every couple of years.
