I’m a soon to be graduated watchmaking student in Canada, learning cool tricks from you, mainly in manipulation of parts. Much appreciated, awesome video, great skills. Cheers and keep on posting. 😊
Nice video on servicing the movement. I noticed you didn’t refinish the case, replace gaskets or water test the case. Wouldn’t that be a normal procedure with a watch of this nature? After servicing the movement test well on time and beat error? I was skipping ahead when watching and I may have missed that.
I am not able to refinish the case because its plated and the owner didnt want it to be changed. The gaskets have been changed but I havent filmed it… sorry! Thank you for watching :)
@@UhrenDantler Thanks, I am surprised the diver type watch from Seiko is not all stainless steel. I knew some of their lesser and inexpensive watches were just a base metal with plating and a stainless steel back. I’ll have to look into that further. Thanks for the reply.
@@dalepatrap6906 oh sorry I was one the wrong Watch! This seiko is not plated haha. The owner simply didnt want it to be refinished! Sorry thought the comment was on another Video 😅
Just found your Chanel and subscribed, very nice footage and well edited, keep up the good work and thankyou for sharing your skills, from a hobbiest watch fixer from the uk. 🙏😉👏
I like your videos and the effort you put in to make them interesting and different to other watchmaking videos. Is it possible to reduce the camera shake that happens at certain points? Makes me a bit sea sick 😅
I wish other brands would make movements like this, i.e. loose the decorations. Just makes watches more expensive than need be. What normal watch wearer gives a flying puck what the movement looks like? Case and dial is what matters to me. 😮
Hello, from my standpoint of view I can only say that most movements with decorations are superb in terms of precision when it comes to servicing. But most people will never see it, thats right. Nevertheless I enjoy them. As much as I enjoy this seiko movement. Cheers

Nicely done! I enjoyed your video. That tweezer grid holder thing looked cool and maybe 3d printed.
Yeah its 3D printed! I love it when every tool has its own place :)
Nice work. Diamond paste would clean up that crystal.
Thanks for tipp
Great video, do you repolish watches as well?

Do you have a buyer for that watch? I’d definitely be interested in buying it. You did an outstanding job!
