Vinod Khosla starts with a 30,000 foot view of this critical point in history, and how it differs from previous technological phase changes. With his 40-year history sponsoring technological disruption, he will discuss the origins of change and innovation, and lay out his predictions for how AI will upend every sector of GDP, and how these predictions can create a utopian society if executed correctly. No corner of the world will be untouched.

I heard another VC talk recently, it was so funny, that dude did basically everything to avoid saying socialism, he invented a zillion different forms of capitalism in the interview, and refused to go down the path of socialism. Irony being every new-form of capitalism he described sounded a lot like socialism.
Capitalists are running out of ways to make money from goods and services. Nonprofits are tax free. IKEA does it right.
I think he has some serious blindspots about the impact of job losses on this generation in the near future.
Don’t forget all the new jobs this shift will create. There is always a job for someone that wants a job.
Corona era was a test case.
People are perfectly okay with sitting at home, but they'll need good VR. 😂😂
@@PseudoProphet I mean, Los Angeles is pretty bad, but it ain't 'the stacks.' :)
an hour-long commercial for Vinod to pump his many failed SPAC ventures? cool.
Never invest what you can't afford to lose.
SPACs are still a thing?
he doesn't need SPAC ventures and never did
@@nikhilp2351 No one needs spacs. It just seemed like free money fast.
0:26 Seems like an expensive use of resources, just for lunch. I wonder if then, At 9:00AM people can order their three hour guarantee DoorFlash Delivery London prepared Eggs Royale Tarts. and Crab Benedict on an English Breakfast Muffin
😂thats basically the equivalent of every type of chunks product in starfield.
"Scale" by Geoffrey West?
This guy is basically saying that capitalism is about to get yeeted by AI
Why does the US produce so many people with negative opinions in the comments section? Hate is corrosive, bad karma.
That’s pretty much in every country. Most normal folk do not waste their time commenting.
We're all a bunch of "non working, non confirming, non marrying mofos as my mother used to say.
What is he talking about. Totally off topic
I m originally from Asia, I agree with you that he is talking all are off topic. I can see the topic is about AI
The purveyors of idiotic proposals are seldom held responsible or partake thereof.
Many have poor math skills, and think of themselves like gods (superior to others).
fuck are you talkin about
@@dg-ov4cfhe is saying that people who giveout idiotic ideas aren't held responsible if those ideas go bad or even have to live the consequences of those ideas
@@dg-ov4cfand they don't know math, so they are objectively not very accurate but/hence think themselves as superior or better than rest of people
@@dg-ov4cfthough I'm not sure I agree with the guy who wrote it. Cos vinod is a smart guy and he probably has better understanding of maths than most of commentators
Fantasy and VC does not work together…
All hail AR lol.
this is the guy trying to ban open source AI
Next thing he's the mysterious openai board member lmao.
Pistol Paccin
Man he really don't like China, i almost believe that has nothing to do with his indian origin...
Almost...
Redistribution of wealth? Eh... i think i've heard that somewhere before...
"you're early"
Driving up politicians quality of expertise is already in demand. Lol
Organically it hits 1900s public sector agencies and institutions expansionism & urbanites apparatus hard ♥️ 🔥 👌
but a more spread out medium density quadrupled logistics owner and operators will allow the classical esoterica America dream but without the private sector individual physical class of labor division that matters.
Unions, publishers, higher education should've merged online 20 years ago with sub contracting out skills and trade but they incorporated and consolidated instead.
Esoterica America private individual king of his own castle useing tech to overcome handicaps to live out our dreams through a love of labor owners and operators without the nasty physical class divisions .. atleast not those that matter ..true anti trust American capitalism strengthened bottom up rule both economically and politically again. Local patronage of arts ,humanities all the decor we love socially.g
interesting how the stewards of capital are just as bankrupt for ideas as the young entrepreneurs of this emerging field. both are trying to turn the 'bug' (stealing work from artists by making ai art/music) into the 'feature'. i wonder if ultimately they are unable to appreciate anything that doesn't make money.
They need to git gud.
such a charlatan
