One problem however: I got everything to work, installed the Max for Live program, but as soon as I put it on the track the preset I had on disapears and a new one loads, what's more is that I can only access 100 presets/slots, instead of the 200 presets + 300 empty slots. I duplicated a preset to slot 201 hoping to start a song without touching the original preset but it won't be accessible as soon as the Max thing is on.. Any idea why and what I could do? Thank you!
Hey! Great video. I seem to have everything setup the Korg setup in ableton. All the drivers seem to be installed and it's recognizing midi notes from the synthesizer. However, no sounds are coming from the channel with the instrument on it. Can anybody please help with this issue? Thanks in advance!
Hey Simon. From the output of the Korg, where does that cable go? Into a Sound Card? Have you made sure your sound card is selected as the input in the Ableton Audio Preferences?
Hi, could i ask u if you maybe can help to map the minilogue inside DIVA? The Minilogue cc and the midi “language” is totally different between the VST and the hardware. Thanks a lot.
@@massimomarazzo9180 The only way I would know would be to map the perimeters manually using CMD / Ctrl + M and mapping them all individually. I know believe Omnisphere lets you select a hardware unit and will have the perimeters pre-mapped like you're suggesting but I don't know of any other ways sorry bro

When i click on MIDI to my minilogue isn't showing up, how do I fix this? Also does this set up allow for the dials on the physical synth itself to influence the sound coming through ableton?

Hey bro! Hopefully we can help you out! If it's not showing up anywhere my first thoughts would be the cable. - You have the Minilogue connected via USB yes? - What cable are you using? I would try using a different one as it could be something as simple as a faulty cable.
Hey Taylor. What do you mean by internet cord? Do you mean the USB cable? You'll need a total of 3 cables coming out of the back of the minilogue: 1) Power Cable 2) USB Cable into the computer 3) 1/4 Inch jack audio cable going from the Output into your Soundcard. Hope this helps!
Hey - I'm not 100% if the Max for live device will work. It looks VERY similar to the Minilogue so I'm not actually sure what the exact difference is on the two - As long as the perimeters are mapped to the same MIDI channels then it should still work the same. I would potentially contact the guy who made it and double check! Hope this helps!

everything works on this max for live plugin unless the cutoff. Really annoying as it's the main thing i want to map do you know a solution ?

We are using M1 so I think it should still work

Hey! It sends MIDI via USB - So the USB - USB B cable it comes with is all you need

Think you might need to install the driver, but it just failed when I tried to. Hopefully you have more luck
