- NTUC Enterprise addressed public outcry over the sale of a majority stake in Income Insurance to Allianz, valued at S$2.2 billion.
Critics, including former NTUC Income CEO Tan Suee Chieh and Ambassador-At-Large Dr Tommy Koh, argue the sale contradicts previous commitments and threatens Income's mission of affordable insurance.
NTUC Enterprise claims the partnership will enhance competitiveness, but public skepticism remains strong.

As one who has worked many years in NTUC Income, and later in SNCF (Singapore National Cooperative Federation), I had once asked a question about which direction Singapore would be heading down the road. "Singapore Incorporated" or "Singapore Cooperated"? (The question was posed some time in early 1990s.) I think the answer to that question is now clear. But I have yet another question: What to do about it?

How can NTUC Income sell shares to allianz, when allianz was charged in US for fraud and fine in 2022 May, thus exposing Singaporeans' to be rip off by allianz ??? If LKY is alive, will he allows this ?
