It's amazing that this handheld can play titles such as rainbow six siege, but the question is, is it playable competitively using the joysticks if you get good?
The Joysticks are smaller than regular thumb sticks found on a Xbox controller for example, so making micro adjustments when aiming is little more difficult because there’s less room to do so.

Maybe an hour or little under that since those games are demanding AAA games that require more power to run properly especially at 1080p. Hope this helps!
Does anyone know if there is ANY way to limit the charging to 80% or similar?! If I plug it in to use it with a eGPU or at home with a charger, if it stays at >95% it will kill the battery quickly. Most phones and devices allow to limit from 50-80% not to damage the battery if we use it plugged in…
Got my legion 2 days ago and I love it but trying to play games at 800p with integer scaling makes all my UI and text look pixelated. Am I doing it wrong? Does the screen resolution need to be set to 800p too or just the game resolution?
Sometimes the resolution is a bit tricky, I usually just leave the UI resolution to 1600p and change the in game resolution to 800p. But some games can act a bit weird and you might have to change the UI resolution to 800p for it to register in game. Hope this helps!

I think if you want convenience or a console like experience and you don't mind having less performance the Steam Deck isn't a bad option. kinda, never burning hot, just hotter than warm. especially after hours of having plugged in while lying on the couch. Played 8 hours and it was still hotter than warm.
In my benchmark testing the Legion Go has the slight edge usually within margin of error (5 frames or less). But in some titles it can take the lead by a good bit if they are playing at the same resolution of course. Hope this helps!
The Steam Deck OLED. You'll get a more comfortable experience and a better overall package. The Steam Deck has 2 trackpads while the Lenovo only has 1. That's actually a big deal. Not only that but you'll get a better operating system with a better, more console like user interface. You'll even get better battery life. The only downside the OLED has compared to the rest is performance and that's no big deal as long as you're not trying to play the latest, greatest, and most hardware demanding PC titles. I should note that if you want better performance and you go with one of these other handhelds, you'll be limited when you're playing with the device as just a handheld due to the battery life. Get a dock for the other handhelds and all the sudden they become pretty good console replacements. At that point, it just depends on what kind of options you want or how you already play most of your games. But in my opinion, the truth is that all these handheld gaming PC's running Windows sacrifice much and just add noise to the signal. Valve set the standard in the beginning with the Deck and the handheld gaming PC market needs to catch up. It's either that or they're limited by a patent issued by Valve. It's also entirely possible that the market only exists to keep the console industry from going after Valve considering how the Steam Deck is an amazing emulator. It boggles my mind sometimes when I notice, "oh hey I'm playing Halo Reach on the same device that can play Legend of Zelda Windwaker and I can play both of them flawlessly on the exact same controller." Whats more is you can get a lot of storage with the 1TB OLED model with a 1TB SD card. It's nuts how many old games you could fit on there and it's amazing you can get some massive 100GB games on there too.
@@Daking_Alter 90hz is already quite sufficient especially for a gaming handheld, I don't see the steam deck actually hitting anything above 60fps on demanding title, but would run well with indie titles.
Hey brother I'm a little bit confused I saw a video one how to update gpu driver and the guy did by going to the amd website so I followed that and when I finished downloading it and checking the driver date is saying 28/11/2023 but if I downloaded from lenovo's website I get the 7/11/2023. Which one is the right one ?
Hey! So the latest AMD driver would be the one you have installed which is 28/11/2023, this is the one I have installed as well. Lenovo has their own driver release as well which I believe 7/11/2023 is the latest one. The AMD driver is pretty stable and works just fine for me, so I don’t think you would need to switch to Lenovo’s driver unless you prefer to use theirs. Hope this helps!
After these updates, it doesn't yet out perform the ROG ally, with it's VRR, does it? Would like to some comparison tests. Especrally with Balder's Gate 3.

I barely got 1 and a half at max performance 4gb vram. Ima do 6 when my replacement comes. Not hating just laughable to me.
There r only 2 relevant resolutions with the LEGO. 800p and native. 800p with integer scaling looks better than any other non native resolution. There is 0 reason to run games at resolutions in between. For 99% of modern titles 800p is the sweet spot as these apu’s r so bandwidth limited.

The d-pad sucks if you’re playing games like street fighter or mortal kombat. Anything that have something todo with the dpad; it won’t work as expected.
is this a good laptop replacement, i have low end laptop, asus tuf 15 with ryzen 7 4800 and rtx 3050, i want something that is more portable that's good for gaming and can do some light office work, like sending emails and some excel and word,.
great video my guy
I wish they stayed at 1440x2560 max screen resolution instead of 1600x2560. Would be easier to drive
Im thinking about getting this or rog ally got steam deck when it first came out early adopter so this and or rog ally or the rog ally to replace, replace my steam deck
Why does my sleep power button sometimes put it to sleep but sometimes the screen turns on right after
Playing any of the recent cod modern warfare games at 1080p with medium or high settings, what battery life left will i have?
Maybe an hour or little under that since those games are demanding AAA games that require more power to run properly especially at 1080p. Hope this helps!
Can I play with gyroscopes left right like the switch ? If someone can answer please. Very good video man thanks
Does anyone know if there is ANY way to limit the charging to 80% or similar?! If I plug it in to use it with a eGPU or at home with a charger, if it stays at >95% it will kill the battery quickly. Most phones and devices allow to limit from 50-80% not to damage the battery if we use it plugged in…
Lenovos working on an update to add the option to legion space.
" Beyond Playable" Actually means it is not playable at all. Hope this helps.
@@faristriesgamingtech thank you! I’m having fun trying to iron out the niggly bits lol I’m sure it will all come together eventually just need to wrap my head around what works and what doesn’t. Absolutely loving the legion go however!
@@Eevolved32definitely do as he suggested, because it will be easier to scale once in the actual title😅, it gets a bit finicky sometimes but this product is definitely worth the price and I love that they expressed, just like the lcd steam deck, that this was and is to be looked at as a development tool as well as your potential gaming pc if you’ll work with it.💪🤓
So Legion Go and Switch 2 for the next 5-7 years, got it.
How often did you open and clean it?
I have some issues with the touchpad and sometimes it crash, did ever happen to you ?
No, that hasn't happened to me. I would probably contact Lenovo to see if there are any trouble shooting steps for that issue.
If Im a guy who prefers 4k graphics over everything should I not get a Go? I feel like im going to be upset playing it at 720p and would prefer playing at 2k or 4k with crisp clear graphics with good detail and color. Not really big into fps as I mostly plaY RPG games. Pleaseee help!
Love my legion Go !!!!!
Im wondering which one i should get, steam deck or legion go…hmmm
I think if you want convenience or a console like experience and you don't mind having less performance the Steam Deck isn't a bad option. However, if you want more performance, access to more games, and a bigger screen with a higher refresh rate the Legion Go would probably be better in that situation.
How about your Rog ally?
I’m loving the Ally as well and will be doing a long term review of it as well!
@@faristriesgamingtech yeah please do coz im planning to buy but i dont know which one or just waiting for msi claw
@@orczville9258 MSI claw is intel based...I...I would skip that one as ARC gpu is okay, but has way too many driver issues to be used anywhere but a proper gaming pc
Can we play inzoi with legion go later in the future?
Can you make a video playing Fortnite on highest settings plzzz i want to know how much fps it get
Is there a way to screen record ?
How do you find using it whilst being as heavy as is. Do your hands get fatigued quickly? Can you play in bed ?
you can play cyberpunk 1200p while taking a dump how about that
After my RMA Ally came in damaged, I'm over Asus. I'll just buy the Legion Go from Lenovo Directly as they are cheaper for the 1TB + Legion Accidental damage warranty. I'm over Asus, so seeing these is excellent.
How are the fans? I tested the ROG Ally for a week at various configs and those things just roar. Not a huge deal with headphones, but I'll wake my wife if I play in bed lol
Hey but the ally rog is beast I have it n I enjoy it 😊
I just installed a 3 tb ssd n I now I could download bunch games on it I've been playing alot off warzone call off duty fortnite on it and rainbow six sige and fifa 24 all games so far I tested haven't had issues 😊
Just tested the fan noise in Forza Horizon 5 without full fan speed, you can definitely hear it, but it kind of drowns out in the background and I forget about it. Now with full fan speed, it gets pretty loud. Hope this helps!
Does the Lenovo legion go gets *hot? * while playing AAA or demanding games?
I played multiple AAA titles and honestly speaking, they did a really good job in releasing the heat. I usually get utmost 60 to 70c°
@@haoyangcheong5197 Well thats very nice to hear. It always bothers me when a device heats up too much. Guess im gonna try to catch this one soon! Thanks for the info! 🤗
kinda, never burning hot, just hotter than warm. especially after hours of having plugged in while lying on the couch. Played 8 hours and it was still hotter than warm.
How does it compare to the ROG ally now performance-wise?
In my benchmark testing the Legion Go has the slight edge usually within margin of error (5 frames or less). But in some titles it can take the lead by a good bit if they are playing at the same resolution of course. Hope this helps!
Has the legion go ever been too heavy for you?
Please fix gyro if you move slowly it stops responding
I would be so scared of snapping the joycons.
Can this run all .exe files? I’d like to install MetaTrader on it.
steam deck oled or this one?
This one of course, Steam Deck is for depressed turkeys
I'd recommend the Steam Deck Oled for a smooth console like experience
@@TheSniperWho wow that's amazing but I'm really new to handheld gaming and is 90hz fine or not?
@@faristriesgamingtech thanks
what about fan
noise
Really wish you would test some modern games to see how they play. Fortnite, Diablo, Starfield, pick your poison.
Noted, planning on doing a huge benchmark again. Thanks for the feedback!
Never talk high resolution if fps can't hold 60 fps. Battery can be drawback to
After these updates, it doesn't yet out perform the ROG ally, with it's VRR, does it? Would like to some comparison tests. Especrally with Balder's Gate 3.
I think its kinda funny they expected people to actually keep this device away from an available outlet lol. They expect us to be like ok honey lets go "reboots device" into bios changes for efficiency loads win os change more settings for eco then go play like its gonna last more than 4 hours? I barely got 1 and a half at max performance 4gb vram. Ima do 6 when my replacement comes. Not hating just laughable to me.
How are you expecting a 3-4 hours of battery life when you're running the device at max performance (30watts) on a 50whr battery?
Not even a gaming laptop can run for 30 minutes on max performance, what are you on, can I have some?
I can't wait to get mine in a couple of months!
Btw can i play steam games on this??
Awesome to hear! Yup you can play Steam Games and other launcher games.
Can you play while charging the LeGo ? Thanks.
Yup, you can.
@@faristriesgamingtech Danka !
So is it worth getting now because I heard so many bad things how Ally and Deck is way better
After the updates it is and beats fps over the alley
There r only 2 relevant resolutions with the LEGO. 800p and native. 800p with integer scaling looks better than any other non native resolution. There is 0 reason to run games at resolutions in between. For 99% of modern titles 800p is the sweet spot as these apu’s r so bandwidth limited.
Love the video but does he realize the 1080p and 1200p are the same and 1600p is actually 1440p?
now if they fixed that dam d pad can play figthings to save you life inputs dont work
Currently $650 at Best Buy.
I returned mine. The software is terrible, and it feels like an unfinished product.
You tested quite old games.
MW3 cod, Cyberpunk, Bannerlord 2, CK3, and all the cods from 1-3 have run just fine. You can also go on other reviews as well Legion go is definitely the best handheld out there.
