We can do all things through Christ who gives us strength 🙏 I have been abstaining from ex 10+ years with no type of foreplay and I firmly believe abstaining from ex outside of marriage, cleaning up your spirit man through the Word and renewing your mind is key to exual purity and only GOD himself can help a human do this discipline.

Celibacy is a trick word of the enemy....not scriptural at all.
The Caption" I don't believe in Celibacy" got my attention because I've been Celibate for some years... I think because of being sexually active before that's where the term" Celibacy" . A journey to Purity of Soul...body and Spirit because pre-marital Sex stains our Souls...body and Spirit. Purity of every formed is expected of us as Christians...cos one can be a Physical Virgin but impure in their souls...body and Spirit.

The difference between celibacy and sexual purity:
1. Celibacy is usually an act of your will, while sexual purity is in honour and in obedience to God's standard.
2. When celibacy is dependent on your own will but sexual purity is when we believe in God to give us strength to remain pure.
3. Celibacy is a burden and a weight while sexual purity is worship before the lord. Rm 12. We are happy to present our body to the lord because we are living sacrifices.
4. Celibacy focuses on the unmarried, but sexual purity focuses on everybody.
5. Celibacy is talking about only sexual intercourse but sexual purity, the person is keeping their heart, mind, soul and body. We shouldn't have unholy thoughts. Kissing, sexual thoughts, masturbation, pornograpgy, kissing, any sexual activity outside the Holy matrimony of marriage.
6. Celibacy is usually time-bound but sexual purity is for life.
Sexual purity is from the word of God and prayer. The intend of the heart matters with sexual purity.
7. Celibacy usually goes with an indisciplined mind while sexual purity comes with a disciplined mind which covers our morals towards honesty, gluttony, stewardship, sanctification etc
Sexual purity is based on conviction
Celibacy is based on convenience
How to remain sexually pure:
1. Studying the word Hebrews 1:6
2. A life of prayer/personal devotion.
3. The association you keep
4. The things you are consuming. Movies, books, social media posts etc. Guard your heart with all diligence

Shuuu this is a very hard pill for me to swallow
It is possible, I am a living testimony.
This is sound teaching and it talked to me directly!! Initially there wasn't any form of kissing in my relationship, but later down the line, we got involved. I won't lie, it damped my spirit a bit. I did browse to see if it was explicitly mentioned in the bible not to do it. It wasn't but now I know better, and I pray for grace to abstain from it.
But @pastorKingsley during your time dating, how did you cope with this?
Were there temptations? How long was the dating process? Not even a light peck? I need your advice and strength here. How do one convince their partner to also abstain? Mind you, I and my partner are both lovers of God.
I love your teachings, I am a big fan,but anytime I hear this version of your teaching I do have these above questions.

Hi, from my own opinion I think setting boundaries works, for example if you feel like it’s when you and your partner are alone that’s when you’re tempted to kiss then ensure you guys are never alone.
Also I think another thing that would work is not courting for too long… This would really work. I mean the reason why you are courting your partner if it’s a “Kingdom Relationship” is for marriage and you have probably taken the relationship to God.
I am personally not
into big weddings, so if the case is that you don’t have enough funds for the wedding, you can do something really intimate with family and close friends (once you get an approval from God) you can also hold a wedding afterwards if you want to or you desire to.
Also prayer, pray with your partner about your desires. Both of you should take it to God whenever there is that desire or even before it comes and you will find the Holyspirit convicting you.
Lastly, get someone who you both respect (Christian leader) that can hold you accountable. I believe this would also help as they will be able to give you both Godly counsel and help you through the process.

Sexual purity is not time bound, it is a lifestyle and it transcends being single.
This is a very helpful piece Sir. For any believe who wants to be free from societal pressure or sexual struggles, they need to listen to this to gain a very deep understanding on how to view sex. This would in turn dictate our predispositions to sexual acts.... May God help us to be steadfast even as the world is currently pushing into the church
