    If you've got any funky builds of your own - or any improvements to my flawed one at 9:05, let me know!

    • @themysteryman8709
      @themysteryman8709 Год назад +1

      Well, 9:05 should be a quick fix:
      For Mastermind: In the Medic tree I took Painkillers, Doc Bags and Basic inspire. I still build up for Aggressive reload basic in the sharpshooter tree.
      For Enforcer: In the Tank Tree I grabbed Die Hard aced, Shock and Awe ace and basic Bullseye, and finally Aced Scavenger in Ammo specialist tree.
      Technician: 1 Point for Hardware Expert, and in the Oppressor tree I took steady grip + Lock n‘ Load + Surefire and finally Body Expertise all aced, plus Fire Control basic.
      For Ghost: In Artful dodger I aced Parkour and got basic Inner pockets, and in Silent killer I took Both Low Blow aced and The Professional aced for suppressor skills as the added Accuracy and stability really help out a lot.
      And then for Fugitive you just ace akimbo and it’s all done for the build.

    • @emberz3778
      @emberz3778 Год назад

      The build is actually pretty good damage wise. Like with Akimbo smgs, you would want to just tap fire with them to not lose as much ammo and pick up the ammo the swats drop.
      Now preferably you could get Jokers with Partners in Crime aced. This can make Grinder more tanky and You get a really good distraction to take hits away from you and your team. Especially with 2 Jokers.
      Sharpshooter tree in an automatic set up... uhh honestly you can just get The Professional aced and get more out of it using a Surpressor.
      Iron man isn't really needed nor is Bullseye aced. The LBV can honestly be used fine on it's own. If you have trouble staying alive with this set up, it's either because you want to play in a very very rush heavy way and just need let your armour/health catch up in cover for a small bit or you could try using something like Hacker where you can stun and dodge everything, only getting Duck n cover aced to keep the style you are probably looking for.
      Bulletstorm aced isn't taken ;w;
      Fully loaded isn't really that great as you can kind of make any weapon ammo positive easily. There are exceptions like the Little Friend where it can be more fun as well as some other weapons I feel like I am missing, but it really isn't that needed in an akimbo smg set up.
      Parkour aced is pretty bad XD
      The issue is that, it doesn't really do anything and it takes a lot of points out. Like running while reloading sounds good, but it removes your ability to sprint cancel, you can just wait a bit for your armour, health or enemy targeting while in cover and even with slow reloading weapons, you can just take reload skills.
      If you have trouble with the damage, some ideas could be High Value Target aced or Unseen strike. More damage = less bullets needed and less time wasted.
      It could even be an idea to take Bloodthirst basic and Pumping Iron aced since with something like the ice pick, it can even 1-2 shot Bulldozers so it could save on ammo.

    • @zenith_fn
      @zenith_fn Год назад

      Its not really an improvement for the build at 9:05, but crook might have been a better deck for the 4th build, since its an dodge-ballistic armor hybrid, which would suit well with the iron man-sneaky Bastard combo.

    • @emberz3778
      @emberz3778 Год назад

      @@zenith_fn Oh yeah actually to add onto to the idea. Crook can be super tanky with Iron man basic, Die hard aced and Frenzy aced.
      This can tank 2 shots on Death Sentence as well as Give you the opportunity to get both Low blow aced and Berserker aced.

    So fun story: Back when my PC ran Payday 2 at like 15 frames on low settings, I HAD to run the whole mastermind tree, as it was the only way to be useful while keeping my frames manageable. So I ended up doing High Value Target and Thanatos, so whenever I saw an enemy, I was able to take them down while dealing with low frames.
    Also, I am genuinely surprised to hear Luftrauser music nowadays. The Inspector plane will forever be my favorite.

      To this day I still have the Thanatos build. Incredibly useful when doing cook-off and my buddy is running turrets.
      It's also because of back-then that I suck with dodge builds now. Running at 15 frames for 3 years, then doing so at 60+ frames, I can't keep up with myself and often fall or blitz by enemies or rooms I needed to go towards.

  • @elielc.8459
    @elielc.8459 Год назад +58

    I have similar feelings towards the game's weapons. Most of them are neglected just because they aren't the meta. Sure, some of them actually suck, but most are just slightly downgraded versions of the better weapons. It's boring to just keep using the same ones over and over again, just because their stats are a little better than the others. The game doesn't always have to be played on the highest difficulty, and experimentation/variety is part of the fun.

    • @manboy4720
      @manboy4720 Год назад +10

      death wish is way more fun in my opinion, using completely off-meta weapons is always more fun and feels like you're utilising more of the arsenal that the game provides.

    • @GameRevo
      @GameRevo  Год назад +9

      I think a lot of it comes down to presentation in the game's inventory pages - a huge focus is given to numerical stats, and unique mechanics (little friend's grenades, for example) are either hidden in the flavour text or behind modifications. I think if they focus more on unique guns like the recent DLC ones, and make the differences more apparent, people would experiment more!

    • @yol_n
      @yol_n Год назад +6

      The issue with weak weapons is they dont have any flavor or magic to them. Take the judge: its meta yes, but its a smol shotgun. That is already pretty cool in itself. We need more of that.

    • @emberz3778
      @emberz3778 Год назад +4

      So there is a concept of Niches/Sidegrades.
      This is important to know since it's not like every weapon is bad. You can basically use any weapon on Death Sentence and do well.
      Like no one really uses the bows, but with the explosive tip mod, they can actually have a niche of being concealed grenade launchers that doesn't do too bad of damage.
      Or really just any of the Assault Rifles being really good to use in general only having stats other people prefer. Eg The Clarion has the fastest fire rate and can kill super quick, but not no one brings it up as the best.
      Or the UAR is comparable to the AK5 with better stats, but isn't as modable, yet the AK5 is considered one of the best anyway. It has a higher fire rate than the AK5 so maybe it's up to your speed.
      Experimentation is super important since it gets boring using the same few weapons even on Death Sentence. The beauty is that even in the hardest, just use whatever looks the prettiest.

    • @rompevuevitos222
      @rompevuevitos222 Год назад +1

      There's always a place for each weapon, but some are straight downgrades unless you're missing DLCs (because yes, PD2 DLCs are pay to win)
      The thing is that the game doesn't tell you some important stuff like ammo pickup rate or damage fall off/ramp up

  • @CarrotIsBad
    @CarrotIsBad Год назад +27

    My biggest peeve in this game is when players say that they've done everything there is and are bored of the game despite not even scratching the surface. Sure, they beat everything on dsod, but if they only used a single, overpowered build to do it, I'd be willing to argue they have experienced almost none of the fun of the game. Everything works on every difficulty if you get clever, but people just stick with one thing and don't even consider other options, so this video sends a good message.
    On a side note, your interpretation of sociopath is incorrect. Alternating between close range and medium range for kills every 0.5 seconds doesn't work since the game checks for a kill, and gives 30 armor. If the kill it checks is less than 18 meters away, then it adds another 30 armor. If you kill a far away enemy to get 30 armor, then kill a closer one 0.5 seconds later, the game just doesn't give you any armor. I don't blame you for thinking that, the way the card is written is misleading.

  • @manboy4720
    @manboy4720 Год назад +9

    my favourite thing to do is make builds based off of other games. so you don't think of the weapons as 'which is the most efficient weapon to use', but rather 'what weapon makes the most sense for what it's based off'. i made a sociopath melee/shotgun build that was based off a legionnare from new vegas, and it was pretty fun. making the weapons look as close to the original as possible is an interesting challenge, i used the wiki to find the exact weapons (or closest resemblances) that a legionnare uses in the game (i.e. the joceline is the same type as the caravan shotgun).

    The sentry and joker build is one of my favorites, that's unfortunately ruined by a bug that makes you unable to place sentries down at all, even if you have ammo for em and they're in your inventory. I have no idea what causes it, but once it happens, it stays that way for the rest of the heist. Really sucks because it is pretty fun.

  • @ehunt3413
    @ehunt3413 Год назад +17

    I find that survivability is in the perk deck. Your perk deck will usually have everything you need to survive, whether it would be health, healing, dodge, armor, whatever, that is what you use to prevent downs. Usually skills aren't used for survival directly past things like Bullseye or Jokers, so that can go to more DPS with weapon skills, crits, or zerk, deployables, or in-game skills like inspire.

      If you're running armor builds, you should always be running ICTV on high difficulties unless you're min maxing armor gating against specific enemy types
      Enemies just deal too much damage, tanking (which is required with the speed penalty) just isn't viable.
      Usually you shouldn't expect to be able to take more than 2 shots without loosing all your armor

      @@rompevuevitos222 Hold on can you be more specific?
      Armour isn't valuable, but you should always run ICTV if you do? That and what kind of specific enemy types other than heavy swats?
      Even though it's an extra hit, that is still very much valuable on even Death Sentence. It just gives you enough time to gurantee you kill the horde of swats, find cover, etc.
      On top of Basic Bullseye allowing you to take an extra hit to do the same thing.
      And for reference, Armourer is around the 5th best perk. You can have really consistent ICTV armour tanking and regen on top of health from Aced Hostage Taker.

    • @rompevuevitos222
      @rompevuevitos222 Год назад

      @@emberz3778 Yes, it guarantees an extra hit in case of ICTV, sometimes up to 4 when facing weak enemies.
      The heavy vest(which is a direct upgrade to flak if you have Die Hard Aced) can sometimes sustain 2 but it's being hopeful tbh
      And it is valuable, but tanking as a whole is not really tanking as much as it is buying you some extra time
      Only real difference with dodge is that it is guaranteed
      And i obviously meant without perk decks, some perk decks can make any build viable (even without skills), like Ex President and Stoic
      Infiltrator can also buy you extra hits for both armor and health on top of granting healing

    • @emberz3778
      @emberz3778 Год назад

      @@rompevuevitos222 Well, you only need die hard aced for the Light Ballistic Vest and the Heavy Ballistic Vest can tank 2 light swat units by itself.
      So, what constitutes the description of tanking? You can say that about any perk in terms of, it just buys you more time.
      You always play with perk decks unless you are new/ want a challenge.
      Ex President is a funny choice. You could just use the suit and not go for more dodge, but you are limiting your survival if you do. Like adding more dodge on top is really good or adding the ICTV and a damage resistance from Aced Quick fix or Underdog aced, it can also be nice. That and Aced Hostage Taker if you can't keep up the healing, trigger it as consistently, etc.

    The amount of times I've seen posts on the payday subreddit about "What is the best build?" honestly saddens me.
    Most players don't care about testing weapons, skills and perk decks and finding what works best for them, which I guess for some people can be a burden but to me, spending a few minutes making a build all by yourself and seeing it work well feels good and rewarding.

Shotgun skills for faster reload, firing and damage, as well as Overkill, then Fully Loaded Aced for better ammo pickup as well as a minor support role as the ammo supplier. Couple that with a secondary flamethrower (or DB Grimm, if I’m feeling Death Sentence-y) for ammo conservation and shield damage, Low Blow Aced and High Value Target Aced, and Frenzy basic for high amounts of damage even at some range, and finally some tent pole Anarchist skills and you’ve got a recipe for a fiery bitch who will smack anyone and anything to death.

    Certified prude here,
    I would usually go for a base of a build for general survival on every difficulty:
    1) stoic deck (muscle was fun, but I want to live)
    Medkit aced ("panic button")
    Hostage taker (so you don't go out like Cesar)
    Then I would use some from the list for "the fun part":
    1) Inspire aced (if you feel like a good person that day)
    2) Crits for concealment (low blow)
    3) Crits for not being shot at (unseen strike)
    4) 6 sentry guns (no medkits, don't get downed, it's a long way to full hp)
    5) basic overkill (when all shotguns...)
    Some builds had a granade launcher, some good pickup guns for sentry, others did max crit flamethrower, others had dodge I don't even need...
    But you need a base to not die
    Also I avoid "body shot headshot" perk because it seems like an expensive crutch

    My fun builds always start with Joker skills and an AA-12 loaded up with fire rounds. The dragon's breath steakout is actually super useful for crowd control and picks up a ludicrous quantity of ammo, but it doesn't do a lot of.. anything. Also, its effective range is weirdly high, you can easily take out mid-range snipers with a blast of fire or two.
    You can also use the Mosconi or, as I've found, the Raven, if you don't like fun.
    My recommendation: Incendiary AA-12, Sociopath perk deck, Bloodlust (aced?). The fire burns away enemies and grants you armor, building up melee damage, which you can then stack up against enemies using the OVERDOG perk to take care of priority targets, including bulldozers. You can also, hilariously, check someone with your stock and just.. kill them outright. Bash them with your gun and send them to the floor. Bloodlust aced also compensates for the steakout's poor reload time, and can do the same for any weapon due to being melee. You can become a real whirlwind of fire and destruction when you're operating optimally.
    It's also worth noting for your build crafting purposes, that melee weapons can crit and do the extra damage.

Then stable shot, scavenger, bullet storm aced, extra lead aced, fully loaded aced, and everything aced in the gunslinger tree, then the ice pick, bronco with flip sight, incendiary grenades, and lightweight ballistic vest, getting me to a solid 13 concealment, with a concealment boost on my akimbo pistols, and turning this into a rapid fire pistol build that will kill anyone quickly with a rapid press of the trigger and have ammo bags to recover ammo to infinitely shoot for several seconds and incendiary grenades for shields and hopefully distract bulldozers so that I can shoot them in the face.

      If you wanted to improve it, i have some tips:
      Meelee skills are wasted in akimbo builds
      Akimbo have insane damage ramp up with near targets, they can kill faster than any meelee unless you have full Bloodthirst stacks (which require 16 kills to build back up and getting close to the target).
      In fact, taking meelee skills but not bloodthirst is a terrible idea because it's easily the most valuable skill in that tree, specially when aced to cut your reload in half (a considerable problem for akimbo).
      Second wind is kinda bad. It's a big commitment for planning for failure, and even then it is a chance it triggers. It can be worthwile with Swan Song aced since at least you get a lot of value from being downed and can even be a worth dying at some point.
      Additionally, Berserker with light vest is a waste, you are already 1 shot away from loosing all your VERY small pool of armor to leave you with a minuscule amount of health. Berserk only helps against certain weak enemy types in this case.
      Another thing is that the final skill from Gunslinger should never be aced, specially with rapid fire pistols like akimbo. It just increases the time before the buff runs out (which won't happen if you are constantly firing at targets AND you're firing twice per trigger pull anyway).
      Broncos are not great for akimbo, Lugers are better due to higher stability, magazine and damage. Bronco is better as a "sniper" pistol due to having the best magnification and accuracy available for pistols.

    Build that revolves around the ecm equipment and the hacker perk deck
    The main reason for the hacker perk deck being the pocket ecm which takes the place of your throwable
    The skulls that I have for it are
    Mastermind skills: forced friend ship basic, stable shot basic
    Enforcer skills: underdog basic, resilience basic, die hard basic
    Technician skills: third lawbasic, eco sentry basic (only have them to get get jack of all trades aced)
    Ghost skills: chameleon basic, cleaner basic, ecm overdrive a Ed, Nimble aced, ecm specialist aced, duck and cover aced, parkour basic, second wind basic
    Fugitive skills: nine lives basic(because why not)
    I was very proud of this build I made because not only was it really good for stealth but when going loud the pocket ecm worked really well in making enemy's unable to shoot me because of it stunning them but it recharges every 100 second and loses 1 second every kill I get and the normal ecms as I get 2 worked over a larger range but took 4 minutes before I could turn them on again and couldn't be moved from their original spot
    All of theses things on their own are not very good but altogether they more or less stun every enemy near me for 6 second perk pocket ecm and longer with the equipment ecm and because of jack of all trades I can also carry a doctor's bag making this as one of your builds a mix of armor and dodge while also supporting the whole team all this is rounded out by skills that increase my lock picking drilling etc.

    Fixing River Rapids:
    Weapons: The Heathers are already some of the better SMGs in the game, both single and akimbo. They, like the Mark-10s, have insanely good stats and pick-up. They don’t need ammo bags, but having them for Bulletstorm is understandable.
    Skills: Respec everything. There are a lot of wasted points in the build.
    Mastermind - Start by picking up Combat Medic basic, Quick Fix basic and then get Uppers aced. Since Grinder is a health deck, FAKs will help you in literally any and all situations. Now grab Forced Friendship basic, Joker aced, Confident basic, and Partners in Crime aced. Grinder is a health deck, so having Jokers to draw away aggro and extra health is a no-brainer. Because Grinder heals a lot of health decently fast, Hostage Taker is a waste of points. It is a drop in the river of health Grinder gives you. Drop the points you had in Sharshooter. That 15% bonus is pointless on the speedpull mags.
    Enforcer - Oh boy. Start with Resilience. If you get flashed a lot and hate it, get it aced. Die Hard is a really good skill. If you are using the Lightweight Ballistic Vest, which you should because you’re using Grinder, getting Die Hard aced helps it take an extra shot or two. Drop Bullseye aced. In every deck except for Anarchist and maybe Sociopath, Bullseye aced is useless. Just get basic. So long as you have 1 point of armor, your health cannot be touched. It’s the magic of Anarchist. Drop Iron Man basic. It’s honestly a waste in this set-up. If you really wanna use Ammo Bags, drop the FAK points in Mastermind and redistribute them. If you are going to use Ammo Bags, always and I mean ALWAYS, use Bulletstorm. This skill is gross with the right weapon. So drop Saw Massacre and Fully Loaded. The less ammo you have, the faster and longer you can use Bulletstorm. If you’re going to use FAKs, drop the skills except for Scavenger aced.
    Technician - This part actually isn’t bad. If needed, drop Fire Control. Otherwise, this is fine. You can consider dropping Lock ‘n’ Load aced since the Heathers reload so fast as is, but whatever. More damage elsewhere at the expense of a minor reload increase. Moving on.
    Ghost - Also not that bad. Just drop Parkour. I used to play with it all the time but I can honestly tell you, you will not miss it. The only time you will Parkour basic (you never need aced imo) would be ICTV set-ups. I am also going to throw in Inner Pockets as something you might want to pick-up. Silencers draw less attention and with The Professional, they hit some great stats. You may need to take Optical Illusions aced based on your detection. Unseen Strike is silly good. If you can get it, take it.
    Fugitive - All good here. Akimbo for the boosts and you’re done.

    ftr poison, fire and electricity are LEAGUES better than the stagger skill at crowd control and are very capable of killing just as efficiently as regular bullet headshots. Buncha info for build ideas below since that’s what the video’s about:
    For fire weapons, did you know every tick of fire damage can crit? They’ve recently nerfed Dragon’s Breath shotgun ammo to only ignite at a short distance, but they’re still plenty usable in a concealable shotgun. Or you could use the secondary flamethrower, which can also get you to low enough concealment to benefit from crits. Or incendiary grenade launcher ammo, if you prefer. Once you have crits going, igniting someone is basically guaranteed to kill them. As a bonus, enemies on fire don’t shoot back while they’re burning to death - they’re busy panicking because they’re on fire. Also, every tick triggers on-hit effects, like the Grinder perk deck’s health regen.
    Electricity is more gimmicky, but can work pretty well. The electric melee weapons are among the most used in the game - the stun they provide makes it very easy to dominate cops, and if you’re quick they also interrupt cloaker kicks to keep you from going down. But there’s also the Zapper grenades and grenade launcher ammo type. You showed off that when you’re tased, it reloads your weapon - this also works with Zappers. If you use the throwable version and bring Fully Loaded Aced, you can just use them to reload your minigun or flamethrower or whatever else. Try using the Piglet grenade launcher loaded with Zappers as well. Normally the Piglet isn’t used despite holding 6 nades because reloading it is a chore - but with Zappers, you can just shoot your feet with the last round instead. 6 Zappers will just stun entire rooms to death.
    Poison has only recently become useful. It’s interesting because it actually doesn’t interact with ANY skills. There is no way to boost poison damage. But also… it doesn’t need boosting. The latest updates have introduced Venom grenade launcher ammo type (requires dlc) and Tombstone slugs shotgun ammo type (free!), both of which are totally capable of killing the highest tiers of basic cops on their own with no enhancement, and they will likely disable them with a vomiting animation while they die. Running poison means you don’t have to spend your points on damage, and can instead take other skills. You’ll want to make sure your other weapon is capable of dealing with Bulldozers (or bring throwing knives or javelins for them), but otherwise go nuts. I like using them with Crew Chief, because I play Crew Chief with Inspire, Hostage Taker and Iron Man all aced, which costs a lotta points and leaves very little for damage skills. And just like fire, every tick procs on-hit effects.
    Other fun crowd control effects you may want to add to your build:
    - if you use the Muscle or Sociopath perk decks, you gain access to “Panic”, where you can make cops cower in fear for several seconds. Sociopath requires you use melee, but also buffs melee a ton. Muscle just requires you use a weapon that isn’t silenced.
    - Suppression is a semi-invisible mechanic that is what causes cops to dodge and jump around rather than shoot their gun. Basically it builds up when you shoot near them, and it builds up faster the higher your gun’s Threat level is. Silenced weapons don’t have a Threat level, however.
    - the Concussion Grenade throwable is a very useful “ohshit” button. you get six of them for the heist, and they can help clutch bad situations by stunning entire rooms of cops, giving you time to clear the room.

      I presume you mean Dire need. It is actually better than what people usually think.
      The stagger can be useful as a panic based bullseye where you can just spray and get into cover or kill instead of getting a headshot.
      It isn't the most essential as you can still achieve the same things with Bullseye, but it can still be nice.
      Bringing this up since, a lot of people know how good the elemental grenades/rounds are. They are all pretty broken. Just nothing wrong with using only bullets.
      Even against shields you can just get shock n awe aced or go around them with practice.
      Did they allow Grinder to heal off the Fire? I remember it didn't.
      You should just kill with your gun to notice Sociopaths effect.

    This is some of the best fun-having and also valid criticisms of PAYDAY 2's skill and skill-tree system I have seen in a while. I enjoyed every moment of watching through it and it kinda opened my eyes to some funny stuff I hadn't considered using in a while.
    I think the general source of issues on higher difficulties tends to be that the damage output from enemies is exceedingly silly, being able to three-shot most builds that rely on armor, and making trees like Revenant and Ghost, which provide very quick recovery and randomized IMMUNITY to incoming damage infinitely more favorable to being able to survive at that level, it limits build variety a lot.

    • @emberz3778
      @emberz3778 Год назад

      Honestly I think it's the tutorial.
      Everything is viable on DSOD. Especially armour since if you know the strategy of using cover, peeking out of cover and killing a lot. You can complete any heist. Armour makes this process super consistent and bullseye the single best skill in the game.
      Dodge is still super good for the same reason, except the dodge is more insurance of even if you get hit, using the same strategy, likely you'll dodge and kill/take cover before you actually get hit.
      Health is also op with Stoic, Leech, etc.
      Revenant is more a crutch. It sounds good, but aside from funsies, it is actually only hindering players from playing well by removing points for necessary things.
      All of this information was learnt through good dsod players, their explanations and personally applying the knowledge myself. How can a new player learn that?

      Now when you say harder heists. Can you specify?
      Often there are counters eg Goat Sim is mainly about the strategy to herd all the goats into the burning building and using the sides of the city as really good cover.
      Or even kill heavy heists like Henry's Rock, same process of knowing where the cover is and killing a lot to not get overwhelemed.
      Gambler is fun. I know it isn't the most practical, like it basically has the worst health regen if you don't count Biker. But you still get pretty good health regen to not need Hostage Taker aced.
      Infiltraitor is free 2 shot ICTV armour + decent health regen. Not that bad at all, especially if you prefer more safer decks.

  • @rompevuevitos222
    @rompevuevitos222 Год назад +1

    The stealth tree is actually pretty valuable for loud heists
    As soon as you reach tier 3 (which costs 3 points) you get access to all the ECM skills
    And ECMs are the best offensive deployable (yes, better than turrets)
    On feedback mode they stun all enemies that enter their area of effect (which is pretty damn big) and work for 40 seconds each
    They then RECHARGE after 90 seconds so they can be used again
    With 3 ECMs you can keep an area completely safe, but realistically you'll need 2 tops for when/if enemies start piling up
    This is also without mentioning that they cause turrets to fight for you, can open certain doors in about 5 seconds and you also get access to the lockpicking skill which allows you to open some safes and doors quicker than with a drill
    I've found that ECMs can carry even my worst builds. So if you pair with a good one...
    And you may say: "Well, wouldn't it be faster to just get a build that gets more kills?"
    But your objective is not to get the most kills, it is to fend cops off, every cop down is just another spawn joining the file.
    If you stun them, you create a gap in that file while most of the spawns are just stunlocked by the ECM.
    This can let you easily complete objectives during assaults, including picking safes

      It's funny how the thanatos was such an early DLC weapon but still holds its own all these years later.

    Funny thing, most of my builds are based on RP rather than efficiency.

      It just gets easier the more you learn the map and kill.
      Just have to use cover and kill a lot.
      You get a lot of xp after a bit

    This entire video just sounds like dialogue from Mr. Champloo (Disgaea 3).
    That aside, I've always found Graze builds fun. Why pop one head when you can pop a dozen at once?
    Corridors aren't entirely uncommon and seeing an entire swathe of enemies go down in one non-explosive swoop is immensely satisfying. At least, satisfying enough to outweigh how many times I go down in DSOD for it.

    Mod weapons that arent too broken make it even more fun, in pd2 theres no tommy gun, the closest you can get ia chicago typewriter, u can mod one ibto the game and run atound with crook/muscle pretending like u are a mafiozi or some shit, double bernettis for even more vibe!

    Spending half your playtime on that screen is definitely part of the fun. Just look at path of exile.
    Kinda of a meta game of sorts. Just how shitting on AAA games is more fun than actually playing them.
