I also find it a little sad that 95% of the comments are about the RUclipsr. I actually watch his channel regularly, so that's not a dig, it's just not relevant even if he did steal the name. And it's worth pointing out, he essentially dropped the name when he started The Lotus Eaters.
He didn't really steal the name. He used it as a gamertag and it kind of stuck throughout every platform he's been on, for the simple fact that people know him as Sargon of Akkad. And he's been wanting to retire that tag for a long time now.
Comedian, late night host, saving the life of Ben Shapiro when he infiltrated Antifa, frequently exposes the stupidity of universities and "prominent sources", confronted people whom threatened to kill him face-to-face (and they ran away from him every time), exposed the election fraud of the democrats in the 2020 election, was one of the first people to defend and interview Jordan Peterson, exposed Canada's poor healthcare system that boasts about being free; the list goes on. You mustn't forget the newest edition of his story, Dave Landau, whom is arguably his best supporting man.
One major thing about Sumer inventing Writing? Well more specifically it was the city state of Uruk that did - and actually Uruk invented ALL bronze weapons. It is the one city responsible for ushering in the Bronze Age. But all scholars won't tell you this... you can find it only if you look deep. URUK was the SILICON VALLEY of the Copper and Bronze age... and had the most wonderful temple.. the temple of Inana mentioned in both the Epic of Gilgamesh and the story of Enmerkar and Aratta.

I love this stuff! This video is particularly great because Sargon should be one of the biggest figures in history, but it seems that outside of history nerds, not many people are aware of him or his empire.
And he's been wanting to retire that tag for a long time now.
his role in the gammurgait war was legendary
Oh Cool! Do one on Steven Crowder next!
@@TheGrimmCommoner Excellent!
It would have been fun if this would have been a collab with Sargon of Akkad xD.
Emperor, (attempted) MP, and an Applebee’s waiter. He’s definitely lived a full life

Wasn’t it MEP?
Your burgeoning RUclips empire is a legit empire.
I graduated from Whistler University with a PhD in Biographics. So many classes at this school.
Have you attended his buisness lectures yet
One major thing about Sumer inventing Writing? Well more specifically it was the city state of Uruk that did - and actually Uruk invented ALL bronze weapons. It is the one city responsible for ushering in the Bronze Age. But all scholars won't tell you this... you can find it only if you look deep.
URUK was the SILICON VALLEY of the Copper and Bronze age... and had the most wonderful temple.. the temple of Inana mentioned in both the Epic of Gilgamesh and the story of Enmerkar and Aratta.
That bust that he kept showing isn't believed to be Sargon of Akkad anymore. It's thought nowadays that it's meant to represent Naram-Sin.
There's no definitive evidence that's is Naram-Sin or any other King, just on stylistic grounds its thought to represent Naram-Sin. Either way Naram-Sin is the grandson of Sargon the Great, so Sargon probably looked very similar in appearance
Also the original was unfortunately recently destroyed by isis in an act of iconoclasm.
@@jamesrt5352 I know that there's isn't any conclusive evidence that the bust is of Naram-Sin, but it's more likely that it is than Sargon. I just think it's strange to have that bust representing Sargon here because it's typically not used to represent him anymore by Mesopotamian scholars.

I’m confused by every single one of these comments. 🤷♀️ That said, please do something on the early Irish chieftains.
Are the Early Irish Chieftains another YT channel? They God Emperor fans aswell? I'll have to check them out.
Sargon of Akkad is the name of a well known, controversial RUclipsr as well
@Michael Ardenté he's only controversial because we live in a society, fellow gamer.
@Michael Ardenté he's only controversial because he's an absolute goon
Ok but how did he go from Emperor to arguing with feminists on twitter while trying to get Trump to tweet about video games?
thats a result of the great meme war
You can't just bask in the glories of the past and settle for nothing else, no matter how good you once were.
It boggles my mind that we know as much as we do about a 4,000 year old empire.
It's suprising how you are able to come up with this video with very little. Good work.
Wow I did realise Carl was so old 🤣 really cool video tho
Was that before or after Sargon made his youtube channel? 😏
