Latemar: ferrata dei Campanili e Torre di Pisa. Dolomiti, Obereggen (Alto Adige)

Percorso: da Obereggen (BZ), seggiovia Oberholz (da 1.550 m a 2.096 m). Dopo sentiero n. 18. Pochi tornanti e arriviamo ad un osservatorio con panorama sulla Val d’Ega e indicazione dei gruppi montuosi. A quota 2.600 m siamo in vista di cima Valsorda e sul retro della Torre di Pisa. Pochi metri per la Forcella dei Camosci (2.560 m), con vista sull’altipiano carsico della Valsorda. Proseguiamo verso la forcella dei Campanili (2.610 m), e poco sopra inizia la ferrata dei Campanili. Dopo km 5.7 da Oberholz, a quota 2.750 m, lasciamo il tracciato della ferrata e seguiamo degli ometti per raggiungere Cimòn del Latemar o Torre Diamantidi, la cima più alta del Gruppo del Latemar (2.842 m). Lasciamo la vetta e continuiamo la ferrata fino al Bivacco Rigatti (2.634 m), all'interno della forcella Grande, che si affaccia sul lago di Carezza. Ritorno per l'Alta Via del Latemar fin sotto la Forcella dei Camosci dove proseguiamo sul sentiero 516 per il Rifugio Torre di Pisa. Ritorno alla seggiovia tramite sentieri 516 e 22.
Distanza: 16 km. Dislivello: 1.210 m, da 2.096 m a 2.842 m
Livello: Sentiero EEA. Ferrata di livello A/B, con un tratto C leggermente strapiombante ma staffato. Presenti diversi tratti esposti non attrezzati, resi più critici dalla neve
Equipaggiamento: casco, kit ferrata. Non usati i ramponi, sarebbe stata utile una piccozza
Periodo: fine Giugno

Route: from Obereggen (BZ), Oberholz chairlift (from 1,550 m to 2,096 m). After path n. 18. A few hairpin bends and we arrive at an observatory with a view of the Val d'Ega and indication of the mountain groups. At an altitude of 2,600 m we are in sight of the Valsorda peak and the back of the Tower of Pisa. A few meters to the Forcella dei Camosci (2,560 m), with a view of the karst plateau of Valsorda. We continue towards the Campanili fork (2,610 m), and just above the Campanili via ferrata begins. After 5.7 km from Oberholz, at an altitude of 2,750 m, we leave the via ferrata route and follow some cairns to reach Cimòn del Latemar or Torre Diamantidi, the highest peak of the Latemar Group (2,842 m). We leave the summit and continue the via ferrata up to the Rigatti Bivacco (2,634 m), inside the Forcella Grande, which overlooks Lake Carezza. Return along the Alta Via del Latemar up to the Forcella dei Camosci where we continue on path 516 to the Torre di Pisa refuge. Return to the chairlift via paths 516 and 22.
