    A good discussion between an idealist and a realist.
    Watching Thaddeus get schooled by Malice is entertaining.

    This was a really good interview of Michael Malice being asked to pretend he's someone else.

    I'm not sure I care for Thaddeus Russell im only here because I've run out of things to watch of malice. But I'm enjoying this banter. The way Michael gives nuance to people who are really out there with their ideologies is fascinating. Its not a common thing in these days.

    I tune in to hear a conversation with Malice, I get an interview with someone who interviewed Jared Taylor. You screwed this one up Thad.

    It is so ironic how Thaddeus preaches that he is fine talking to "dangerous" others, yet gets scared stiff when challenged to talk with an intellectual opponent.

    Peterson doesn't justify hierarchy with the bible. He justifies the longevity of the hierarchic ideas of the bible by proving that hierarchies are biological structures and not a modern social construct.

    • @WowThereBuddy1
      @WowThereBuddy1 6 лет назад

      Benjamin Beltran I really want Peterson on the podcast sometime in the future. I agree with Thad on post modernism but I agree with Peterson on his ideas on finding meaning within that chaos. I think both view points are valid in their own ways.

    • @ApocalypseYesterday
      @ApocalypseYesterday 6 лет назад

      Benjamin Beltran Yeah. He even argues it’s deeper than biology.

      Benjamin Beltran I probably gotta look this up. But that’s interesting. Sad the debate with Thad and Peterson won’t happen. I was at least happy to see Brett Weinstein and Thad but I still want more.

    50:38 I think it is incorrect to say jbp "wants" hierarchy of ANY particular type. He believes they are inevitable, based on the unequal distribution of valued traits. That is an important distinction.

    Japan today would probably qualify as the kind of ethno-state that Jared Taylor is speaking about, albeit a Japanese version. That example would probably clarify things for Thad. This makes sense as Taylor had lived in Japan. Thad should visit; it's a very different country from the progressive West.

    Love Malice, I found Russel to be such a pretentious dogmatist. If it doesn’t fit HIS understanding of definitions, it’s wrong. He can’t understand Jared Taylor is not a white supremacist because he only sees those topics as binary. When Russel kept trying to get Malice to explain Taylor’s mind, and especially only in a strictly disparaging way, I knew Russel was an NPC. He can’t think in shades, he only understands the “narratives”.
    Love Malice, but Russel kind of wasted his time. I still appreciate hearing him though.

    You are conflating facts of race, with facts of perception of race. Recall from Thomas Sowell there are different types of discrimination (www.independent.org/publications/tir/article.asp?id=1362), and race is very effective Schelling Point.
    If you are not racist and you want to cooperate with people of other races, you nonetheless must first establish that the members of the other race are not racist, and that all the members know each other to be non-racists. That overhead, which you may recognize from the Prisoner's Dilemma, is simply an unfortunate concomitant of interracial dealings.
    Not all effects are negative. The good might outweigh the bad. Don't neglect the strongest argument of the race realists. After decades of forced racial integration many blacks are often often blaming those very whites and Jews who are in every measured way the least racist for every unfortunate circumstance of life.
    If every scientific fact of racism or race realism were disproven utterly and even if additionally the problem of indeterminate races were utterly devastating to the arguments of race realists, the peculiar cost of interracial cooperation would remain.

    There haven't been nor aren't there nor will there be infinite kinds of hierarchies. Hierarchies have a constant and that's the relationship of power of some over others. The details are important off course but the "infinite" variation is first FALSE and second irrelevant.

    Why are fascists left wing?
    What metric makes them right wing?
    I don't think traditionally they were right wing, I think traditionally they were left wing, and leftists realized they'd dun fucked up, and labeled them right ring.

      In Italy, Spain, Germany and Japan, each political decision-making was turned toward "what are the borders, inside which, we'll make sure to smooth away capitalist exploitation, reinvigorate cultural strength and ensure better people for the future? Well, how about the nation?"
      The book "Nietzsche & the Nazis" has a pretty good dissection of the subject.
