Santal Austral is amazing. Encense Suave and Radical Rose my other two favorites. The whole house is incredible. I'm in US and got a discovery kit from them in France, arrived in less than a week.

Matiere Premiere has great fragrances. I see them all over social media but I don’t mind as the ones I’ve tried lived up to the hype! (And I’m quite selective of the RUclips perfume reviewers whom I subscribe to.) I’m still taking my time experiencing my samples. So far, I’ve decided that Radical Rose is full bottle worthy.
I agree with your approach @Gen O....I always prefer to test and make my own decision on a fragrance (no blind buying for this guy!). Sometimes a fragrance might be perfect for someone but just doesn't work for me. I also agree with your choice of Radical Rose. I'm releasing a review on this fragrance this week. Great to hear from you Tess, thanks for reaching out. Both are similar in that they have a woody base, but I feel that they are two different fragrances Pardon, has spicy, slightly fruity wood tones. Whereas Santal is a lot more aromatic/creamy sandalwood I feel that Pardon is an awesome going out, cooler weather fragrance. And Santal is perfect as an all day, bright summer, kind of fragrance Hope that helps Tess💫

@@TheNicheFragranceCollector I think it is an astoundingly natural smelling fragrance. Very complex. The way it mixes tfreshness with warmer heart and basenotes is realy unique. It's one of the only fragrances where I had this "wow" effect when I first smelled it. The opening is like a photo-realistic mojito. The citrusses then give way to spicier notes (I think its cumin and patchouli), but it keeps a certain citric touch (maybe the ginger?)

Radical Rose is glorious. Yet to try any other Mattiere Premiere stuff. French Flower looks very interesting.
