I kind of had a game like this yesterday which reminds me why I WAS still only 670. Having fallen for the oldest trick in the book with the fast bishop with queen checkmate because I wasn’t concentrating and thought I’d try something different, I was still thinking about my last game and ended up making a mess in a game like this that I should have won.
You get a lot of this down at 600 so a lot of my wins tend to be come back wins as I get attacked early but usually don’t worry because often those strategies create weaknesses for themselves if I can carefully navigate through without losing more pieces than I have to (eg accept I’ve lost my bishop and take a pawn just to further weaken them when I’m trapped).
Eventually my defence is ok but they’ve left their king vulnerable and spaces I can exploit later (if I get that far 😂).

One thing I really like about low elo games is that at any given moment, the match can end in a stalemate, it always keeps that thought in the back of your mind of "when will it happen?"

Levy, if you see this, you’re the GOAT of RUclips and you’re doing God’s work. Deadass. I have been in a really bad period of depression following a super stressful divorce I didn’t want. I found your channel shortly after this happened and after working all day I found myself watching your videos and for a brief moment, I was super entertained and happy, laughing and forgetting about how shitty life was. You renewed my interest in chess and I met someone who also loves chess and now we laugh together and watch all your videos when they drop. You literally changed my life. Like I said, God’s work my dude. Love you bro, hope to shake your hand one day!

Levy's gaze at the beginning is so stunning, it blew my mind
The way he looked, it drew me in
    Elegant, serene, a mesmerizing spin
Behind his glasses burned a fire
A passion deep, a wild desire
To hold me close, to never let go
And in his eyes, a love did grow
I'll never forget that moment in time
When his stare did make my heart chime
For in that gaze, I saw a love so true
A love that only he and I knew.

I wanted to say first that I love the videos and keep it up but secondly to bring up an idea for a video. What about doing a Réti opening (not the classic) where you instantly return to G1 for white’s second move. I’ve ran this through the chess engine and the most advantage it ends up giving (on depth 25) is -1.1. Is this usable in games? I’m going to go try it out myself cause my rating is poor anyways (1100) but wondered if you had any thoughts or if you thought it was interesting if you’d want to make a video out of it.
