Sophomore 6’0 194 lbs
Alabama QB Bryce Young won the 2021 Heisman Trophy, but what he didn’t win is what left a bad taste in his mouth. Alabama beat Georgia in the SEC Championship Game, but then the Bulldogs got revenge and won the Natty. As of right now, Bryce Young is considered the top overall player heading into next season & is projected to be the 1st overall pick by many draft experts.

I’m biased since I’ve known Bryce since his freshman year at Cathedral. I do like Stroud though & this is just how I feel right now. Next year can change my opinion.

@@elvonthe1 His WRs are running wide open down field in half of these plays. That's not normal for most P5 teams and he also won't have the luxury in the NFL.

Prob first pick of draft .... def top 5 .... too bad they will expect waaay too much out of him right away... hope the pressure isn’t too much for him... best case scenario he goes to a team that he can sit & watch & get stronger for a season ....but most likely he’s going to a team with immediate needs at QB
I agree with you. With those points in mind, his best fit seems to be the Lions. It would reunite him with Williams, with a young team that seems to be building things correctly top to bottom, plus he would have a chance to sit behind Goff, whom they won't be in the position to move on from financially until after the 2023 season. He could also easily go to the Falcons, Texans, Panthers etc. I'm a huge advocate for rookie QBs sitting for a season, so hopefully any team that takes him will go that route.

I don't watch College Sports. I just ended up down The RUclips Rabbit Hole lol. This kid is special. That tag gets thrown around a lot but what I see from him here is the WRs don't have to do anything crazy to catch the ball. Usually, QB Highlights can be a little padded. In his case, he is just making really really accurate throws with no WR acrobatics involved.

The Seahawks are a perfect team for Bryce Young. Like he is pretty much a skinnier version of Russell Wilson. If he is drafted to the Seahawks, then with pass catchers like Lockett, Metcalf, and Fant, he will have a great rookie season.
His height isn't my fear, it's his weight. He might have an injury riddled career.
No problem soon as he gets drafted, the right team will put 15-20 lb. on him in the offseason the minute he signs. In 2-4 years that weight could turn from calories to muscle as it needs to
He had four years to bulk up at Alabama but probably only gained 5-10 pounds during his college career. He’s a small man for a professional athlete and he’s not naturally carved up.
As a USC fan, I’m glad he went to Alabama. H e could’ve saved Clay Helton’s job for a few more years..

@@darius5514 Earlier this year, Bryce made a statement about when being on the best team “Alabama” that people don’t think you’re as good so it was expected he was going to transfer to play for a lesser team, but still produce big numbers which would overall increase his draft stock.

I had questioned his arm strength at first because receivers had to wait for the ball a few times, but then realized that he's throwing it sometimes 50-60 yards in the air. The kid is accurate, mobile in the pocket, can escape the pocket and pick up yards, and is good at improvising. Appears to make good decisions and wants to throw before taking off.
