  • This rooster flies up on this fence and crows for about a half hour every morning. His brother rooster stays down on the ground and crows in reply. I will put another video of him crowing on the channel. Both of these roosters were hatched from our eggs on our farm. This rooster is half Light Brahma and half Cream Legbar. His brother on the ground is half Light Brahma and half French Black Copper Marans.

After years growing up on a farm this is normal for me to hear, I can sleep through this easily. People say they can’t sleep with a rooster crowing but you get used to him eventually. Mind you one of our hens was quite the loud ones. My family named her Karen. Seemed appropriate.

A fine fellow indeed, both can hit the high notes and enjoy doing so!

In the morning, you should wake him up with rooster crowing sounds.

If I ever have to wake up to that again every morning... Feathers! This one isn't even that pretty... lol. I discovered Bose QC-2 (or whatever!) noise canceling headphones.. They worked until I turned over and they came off my head while sleeping... I swear that rooster knew when that happened and would come as close as possible and COCK-A-DOODLE-DO. (hope I don't get in trouble for the first furken word).... I never shot it or poisoned it.. I just learned to get up earlier..
