I sort of agree. I am creating art. And even though he didn't make a feature after 2006, he did Twin Peaks The Return, he did a number of short films, released several albums of music, directed music videos... the man never stopped creating. And neither should we.
@@gonzovocado 100% correct. Mulholland Dr, his penultimate film, was his last Hollywood movie and I should’ve been more specific . . . Thank you for setting the matter straight 🪴
“He’s more accessible to us now than ever”… so true!! Thank you for the thoughtful video, I just posted a tribute to pass on some of what I learned from this great master. ❤
Well said. I’ve actually never watched a (feature length) film of Lynch’s, but his impact on pop culture is remarkable. I’ve been wanting to write for a while and, ending gag aside felt that this was a good kick in the pants to get moving on it.
What? People loved his films and television, and his focus on transcendental meditation. Many of those people are also artists who create very much. Many of them aren't artists, but just loved his work. I'm a musician (and atheist -- what's the relevance there?) who was very inspired by Lynch's art, and continue to be.

Actually, his last real movie was Inland Empire, released in 2006. 🤓☝

I went to the screening where he spoke and played music for us at The Hammer museum in Los Angeles. So cool.
