I'd like to know if they are friends now?..... How can Deepak be a quality human being if his kids and his wife don't have a decent relationship with him...... His best friend Dr Wayne Dyer had a fabulous relationship with his kids.....

Detachment is the absence of ego. Deepak's detachment from his son is only one facet of this seemingly complex idea. It does appear, however, that he is "attached" to the masses through his Blackberry. However, there is a strong energetic pull for him to be this way. It is my belief this same energy fuels his motivation to continue moving forward, thus it becomes a self-regenerating cycle. xoxo

I think its pretty cool how the video sheds some light on the real deepak. He is a very clever business man however I do believe that he himself also believes what he preaches and that his switch from medicine was not money driven at all.
I would put it this way: he is making "the ancient teachings of India" approachable to the normal people who cannot or do not want take the time to make their own research. Money is energy and I would want to know somebody doing something for others without becoming energy either in a form of money, or becoming famous and feeling great. Bill Gate has done the same. Thats how the game is on this planet. Nothing wrong with it because we are free to take or leave it.

I'm the mother to 3 amazing ppl & even though I might not like them that much @ times, that has never (& would never) have any impact and/or adverse effect(s) when it comes to the undying, boundless, infinite, immeasurable love that I have always had for them; long before they had even come into this world. As a parent, speaking personally o/c, Deepak's comment is not one that I would ever even begin to think of let alone utter a single last one of those words aloud as a way for me to define, convey, explain, describe, express, etc the love that I have & feel for any one of my three children.
