This is so horrible and sad. The short lives of Dwayne and Melonie must have been so unbearable.

They can stop patting themselves on the back like they did a great job. If they had properly investigated the first child’s death, Melonie might not have had to live through that and die. They failed. It could happen again? It did. She was the second child killed by that couple. They clearly threw the first little boy off of the balcony, that or he fell while trying to escape it, probably after keeping him out there the same way that they did the little girl.
They should be charged with the prior murder, as well. Especially considering Canada has disgusting sentence limitations and the minimal value their judicial system places on the lives of victims.
Otherwise he WILL get out after a couple decades and WILL do it again.

The step mother, the son, the husband are evil she could have called the police to stop Melanies mistreatment. I don't believe the boy jumped off the balcony probably they threw him over. So sad for the mother not to get any answers. And lazy Global Affairs did not check at all if that is true what the gather said. Shame on them they could have found out much faster that she was dead. So sad nobody talked about the brother who supposedly commited suicide they murdered him too.

Why would an all powerful god or goddess allow these two kids to be abused and starved and killed to begin with???? Oh right, if any deity existed, they would spend every waking moment trying to stop the suffering of the creatures it created, but there is no god or goddess.
