- Vacation pack with me | Beach House packing 2019 is what I am sharing in today's video. Every year, my family takes a beach vacation for a week to Gulf Shores, Alabama. Instead of adding the footage to my vlog, I decided to do a separate how to pack for vacation and pack with me for vacation video. What are your favorite packing organization pieces?
Packing cubes and my electronics charger organizer/roll
I love the Thomas Kincade Disney puzzle. Growing up my granny loved his calendars. She always has several of his smaller puzzles for us to do. I discovered he did Disney puzzles last fall and I’ve been obsessed with them since. We did three over Christmas break. We also did a puzzle of Razorback stadium - very similar to the Notre Dame puzzle. We glued it and hung it on the wall. I understand he coffee creamer as well. I have to have the international delight almond joy creamer in the morning. I hope y’all enjoy your family time.
For the road, I pack a packing cube with pencils. crayons, coloring books, paper, sticky notes, stickers, leapad, headphones, etc. for my young daughter to play with in the car. You can also use a shower caddy to put a drink and snacks in.

I use gallon sized zip lock bags like you use packing cubes and I keep an over the door shoe hanger in my luggage. It is fabulous for organizing all the bathroom stuff and sunscreen and it keeps the sink area neat and clear. It folds flat and isn’t heavy at all. I hear they are great for camper organization as well, but we don’t camp.

I really, really like the packing cubes! I tend to be an over packer AND a procrastinator. So I end up packing everything at the last minute and its usually a big mess and strained zippers. I will be looking into those. Thanks for the idea!
For your grease spot try dawn dishwashing liquid.
I like to pack in duffels for road trips. They squish in spaces better. I prefer luggage for flights.
We go to Newport Beach CA every year with extended family and do the same thing with the beach house.
It’s great that you all share everything with the family so no one is left to pick up everything. I’m a terrible over packer.

We are leaving for Cocoa Beach on the 9th for a week. I always plan and pack, already started packing. Hope y'all have a wonderful time
I also use packing cubes. My boys each get their own cube so it is easy to unpack when we arrive. I pack Cascade pods for the dishwasher because they take up so much less room than the liquid (and I use Tide Pods for the same reason, I don’t use Tide any time but vacation). We drive part way to the beach as well. We have a special suitcase just for that night that contains 1 set of PJs and clothes for the next day as well as toothbrushes and my toiletries. It is so much easier than dragging multiple suitcases into the hotel for 1 night.
Great video. Thanks for the ideas. We usually take way too much. I am trying to simplify the things we bring. The only thing I will over pack is clothes just because things happen and we won't be able to wash the first place we stay. Looking forward to seeing how your trip went.
We just got back from Gulf shores last week! We go every year and go with a bunch of people like you! One of our favorite vacay spots!
I use a lot of gallon sized baggies. I put anything that can leak and my brush and toothbrush in there. I have the caddy... but I cannot stand the way sand gets erywhere! I also use pencil pouches to carry my chargers and kindle. I Always have at least a 6 pack of Diet Coke and a container of coffeemate Hazelnut.

I've seen these packing cubes everywhere lately. However, does it make trying to get changed more complicated because you have to dig out all these cubes to find what you need?
They make changing so much easier to me. I don't have to rummage through my suitcase trying to locate something. I know it is in specific cubes.
I'm going to a beach house it's a 4 hour ride and I'm leaving in ten days and I'll be there for 5 days
This is the video I was searching for! Right now, with all of the craziness, the only thing keeping me sane is planning our family vacation! New subbie for sure 😁 btw: if you haven’t gotten that stain out of your suitcase by now you should try the “ Melamagic” by Melalueca it is a wonder product!

I am an overpacker too. But do you need so many pajamas, if you have laundry in the house.
It looks like a lot more pajamas than it is. I wear a sweatshirt, tshirt, socks, and leggings every single night. I am at the end of my vacation and have worn it all. :)
Thanks for the great video. I don't understand why you are taking full size bottles of detergent, dish soap, bars of soap, so much toilet paper, paper towels and similar. What about beach chairs? And you'll be able to do laundry so why so many PJs,, etc. It's nice and easy to throw things in the truck when driving but it's a lot of excess. I can't imagine 9 people using so much of this stuff. No offense meant. You have thought of everything and more. Good job.
We stay in a beach house where nothing is provided. So we bring everything. Our beach house has a small washing machine and we have used it nonstop every day. It looks like there are a lot more pajamas than there actually are.
