WHOA! That was THE BEST hike! First the serendipitous meetup with the local elder, and then the waterfall(s) hike. Curt's wonder and delight were so inspirational. And Snow - the music selection was excellent "I don't wanna race just to come in second place, I want to enjoy my life..." YEAH!!!
That waterfall was amazing. And I was so nervous Curt was going to try and trek further!!! I’m sure he could hear me yelling don’t do it!! Lol

Just speechless! This is exactly what you miss when you travel and stay in those fancy 5 star hotels where all the other Americans stay!! I started to tear up at the kindness of that sweet old man. May God bless him and keep him healthy, happy and safe. What a beautiful world it is if we only take the time to notice. I am, as always, so grateful to you both for sharing and taking us along on your adventures.

What a cool adventure with the old man. You could tell he'd been on tha trail hundreds of times. He knew it like the back of his hand. It just shows you can communicate with others despite the language barrier.

Do you guys by chance know what creates that stunning green/blue hue under the water? The water is so clear, it looks like it's running over the purest Emeralds, I truly don't think I have ever seen anything like it. Chicago's greening of the water on St. Patrick's day has Nothing on this. 😁

Thanks for your bravery to share that hidden gem . Trueky was a magnificent waterfall and the crystal clear water. Yum what a delightful drink of water that would be. I can just imagine the air quality is just as intense a sense to the body. That is probably why that elder man can move about so effortlessly. ❤

Oh Curt, my cup is full just tagging along with you on your hiking adventure! The older gentleman was so precious and generous, it was just heartwarming and so special but, that next place, oh my heart! I was freaking my freak as you walked on that slippery shale rock, the skinny trails and extremely steep slopes but, what a spectacular waterfall, a wonderful payoff in the end! I admire your bravery but I am glad you decided not to go further! Thank you for taking me with you, I could never imagine such sights without you guys! Stay safe, savour the joys you had today!💕🇨🇦

A day late, but I am so glad to see such beauty. Love that elderly man walking like it's nothing along that tiny trail. I laughed when, at one point you were hesitant and he just kept on going. He is so proud of his country. Those pink trees were outstanding. The blue water and amazing waterfall are stuff you only see in dreams. Albania... a surprise around every corner. Thank you. ❤

I saw the same blue rivers in Germany. It's because of copper. Copper gets in the water, deposits on the river bed, and rusts. Copper rust is blue. That's why the statue of liberty is that color. It's made from copper.
Your videos are always stunning, and this one had a little bit more today. The beautiful little village with its shops and flowers on display, the views all around, the local man showing Curt his special path was stunning ❤. And Curt, you were so happy on that walk and the culmination with the waterfall was beautiful, just beautiful. Off the beaten track paths are full of unexpected delights. ❤❤❤

Man!! just Lovin those mosaic streets!! ... they tell a story of such a long history of talented stone masons and a culture of patience! ... Curt, you know I was a nervous wreck watching that tenuous hike ... smh ... but that waterfall was absolutely Stunning!! .. definitely one of the most memorable ones! ... funny how those quaint store-front village streets remind me of places you explored in S. America ... maybe that's one of those universal things for humble old villages ... looking forward to adventures down the road. perseverance furthers ... ... be safe out there! 😺💜

Just stunning! The Shepard was amazing. He wasnt t even breathing hard. Curt is in good hiking shape but that was clearly rough. Those water falls you risked for us to see were magical. I want to build a house near the aqueduct and help the Shepard. Albania is really a surprise.
Curt, I got chill bumps seeing that waterfall as you went down that trail to the bottom. What a great experience. God is so great and gives us his beauty everyday!! The man who took you along the path above was so genuine. Really great video. Maybe Snow could wear a brace on these types of walk. Would offer support and give her knee some more strength. So beautiful. Wow.

I have loved your travels in Albania. Thank you for taking us with you. During WWII, the Albanian partisans and British/American secret intelligence used those tunnels to help move stranded troops through the country to the coast and across the Adriatic to Italy.

That was a beautiful walk to the caves and the water is incredibly beautiful.

I laughed with the old man he was saying to curt at least few hundred times please be careful specially at the last bit. He said please you stay here don’t carry on anymore because it’s too dangerous for you. Poor guy didn’t want to get in trouble if curt continued on that path he was getting really worried about curt

Hi Curt, hey there Snow! I'm here every wednesday and saturday! You are the BEST! You did it again😊! I usually watch on my cell phone, but this one I have to watch on the TV too! LOVED everything, and that old gentleman reminded me of my dad who is 80, who grew up in the countryside and amazes me with what he can still accomplish at that age...I couldn't do most of the stuff, and I'm 49 😂!
The thing also is the trail might be ok going down but then coming back uphill might be the tough part.
That is so awesome not knowing the old man's language but the communication was still there. How often can that happen!!!!

This goat path, with the sure footed goat farmer, was almost as scary as the trail in South America where you had to get the key. I held my breath - again.

Kurt-I thought you didn’t like heights. You impress me because I’m terrified of heights, I actually get sick. Thankful for all you show us and the beautiful camera work. I live part time in Dubrovnik so I’m familiar with that part of the world. It’s so often overlooked by so many yet it’s beautiful and the people are wonderful. Glad you’ve partaken. Stay safe😊

Curt's sandwich making chef skills are awesome! I'd buy one for sure!!! Yum! Also Curt's willingness to be a Sherpa, aka mountain goat is mind blowing!!! There is no way, even in my younger days that I would like that trail. Gotta say though, that the waterfall was absolutely amazing!!! Hope he took time to dip his feet in that water or at least pause and put some on his face and back of his neck. Looked like he was getting pretty hot on that hike!
