Could u plz do a charging test by using other brands of the fast charging pads (like Anker or Xiaomi). Cuz Samsung wireless charger is too expensive for most of the consumers.
🔥💯Another crisp clean vid in the bin Danny. Thanks as always for the work you put into and yes, slight nod to flossy when you "plucked and file em" the instructions. 😂😂😂
can you test the note 10 plus on the duo? Wonder how much slower the 12w 2.0 charger is. The duo is currently on sale for $70 and seems more practical with the double pads.
Danny: Thanks for the review. Please tell us the noise level of the cooling fan in the wireless charger... OK for keeping on a nightstand while sleeping? Thanks!
Can you do a comparison of the duo vs the 15 watt charger with phones that support the 12 and 15 watt. I have a due and I am waiting for delivery of my note 10 but I dont want to buy a new charger if 3watts is not a big difference please
Do you know the note 10 plus has two ways to charge another device? One is the back and the other way is to connect a regular usb cable to a usb connector and bam your phone charging
How long does the Note 10+ take to charge on the duo charger. Planning to get the Note 10+. My note 9 takes more than 2.5 hours to fully charge on my duo, disappointed.
Hey Daddy excellent video because no one's doing a wireless test but Wireless is garbage man I wouldn't ever use the 15 watt charger I just upgrade to the Note 10 plus and use 25 watt charged with the option to go 45 because otherwise I just might as well get a OnePlus 7 probe and forget the Note 10 all together that's the economy version if you go now you got to go all the way if you go in any phone you should be going all the way like no one's getting the OnePlus 7 go straight to the pro but this is really good
I tried using 25w brick that comes with note 10 on my fast wireless pad but only charges normally for my note 10 plus. fast wireless charging only works with 15 watt tho. Hope to get new update
I have the Samsung FC 2.0 duo pad and it will charge my Note10+ & Gear S3 frontier perfectly. I might not even use it that much considering how fast the Note10+ charges with a 25w-45w charger. I turn my phone off when I go to sleep.
I thought it was bad to charge phones wirelessly since it deteriorates its efficiency sooner than just directly charging via the cable through the charge port on the phone.
My brand new Note10+ out of the box charges in about 2h 30min and sometimes the charger wont charge at all.The only fix is to plug and unplug it many times in different sockets.
Hello Danny, Great video, but 2 mistakes: - The S10+ only supports 12 Watt wireless charging whereas only the Note 10+ supports 15 Watt wireless charging - The S10+ has a 4100 mah battery whereas the Note 10+ has a 4300 mah battery. Do you also notice a ticking / clicking noise while charging the Note 10+...?
You illustrate what appears to be ventilation on the bottom of the charger. There are no visible tabs to lift the stand & allow air to be drawn or exhausted through the holes. Can you confirm that the stand does not rest directly on the desktop in a way that blocks the holes? It looks & works nice enough. However, $80 is overpriced, with Samsung being a bit too aggressive in pricing in their effort to a) exceed the excesses of the excessive Apple greed machine and b)e masters of the underworld... err... universe is what I meant to say. What is the hole story, Samsung?
That rubberized bumper keeps it slightly above the flat surface. I would wait until they go on sale. Plus I am sure they will do a Duo version in the future.
You are dealing with different battery capacities and the Note 9 has an older battery. I'm guessing you didn't buy a brand new Note 9 for this video. 10W charging vs 15W charging. Should be about a 50% increase as the wattage suggests. Wireless charging to me is the laziest form of humanity yet. They had to make a USB-C because we were too lazy to flip a connector correctly and now plugging something in that charges twice as fast is too much effort. The damn wireless charger isn't wireless as well. It's PLUGGED INTO THE WALL!!!! A car that has wireless charging = Maybe. (So you don't have cables all over.) But a wireless charger that has a USB-C millimeters away from the actual phone is a joke. It's humans think the concept of "wireless" charging is interesting. It heats the phone and takes about 65% longer to charge it on average. 45W charger if you want the battery to last less cycles. It's why they market in terms of minutes because for a brief charging time you get the full wattage and then battery conservation kicks in. A 45 Watt charger could charge your phone to full in 25 minutes or so on a Note 10 let's say but, your battery would last 3 months...maybe. Physics doesn't lie. 15W charging, charges the the Note 10 in almost the exact time it takes for the Note 9 to be charged on a wall charger. Coincidence? NO. 15W wall charging on the Note 9. I agree, 1 + 1 = 2
Now I am not knocking those that use wireless charging, but I have yet to see a reason that makes sense. Every year the tech improves ever so slightly but in the world of super fast charging it is snail like speed. So every year if you want that improvement there goes another $80 times how many you need; crazy! It is slow, inefficient, loses 30-50% energy per charge and heats up the phone, the main killer of electrical components. You cannot use it while charging, and did I say it is slow! It is also 150-year-old tech that never really took off due to its anti-green credentials, such a waste of energy. For the $80 you can buy a graphene power bank, the one I bought has an estimated cycle count of 10,000 and charges 0-6000 mah in 18 minutes. Anytime I need a top up for my phone, easy. It creates no heat and charges at 45w (PD delivery) so can top up my laptop if that is more urgent as well. Each to their own but surveys suggest that less than 30% of people use inductive charging on the phones that have the feature, so probably less than 5% use worldwide, so a gimmick by every definition you want to use.
I use mine while I sleep, so who cares how long it takes. And, I don't have to find my plug, I just set my phone down and it's charging. I love that. It's a convenience thing. I have an LG V40 and a og Pixel, when I go to charge the pixel, it feels so archaic. I'm all for wireless charging, a convenience I love
Because wireless charging is good if you want your charge port to last longer and the fan on wireless charging keeos it cooler so its better for the phone
S10 5g has 4500mah, if you don't need the Spen this is the better buy. The cameras are far superior, and you have 5g support. Note series are becoming just Pen Galaxy devices.

Samsung galaxy s10 5G has 4500 mah battery

Off topic but what stopwatch is that?
Could u plz do a charging test by using other brands of the fast charging pads (like Anker or Xiaomi). Cuz Samsung wireless charger is too expensive for most of the consumers.
Thanks for the awesome video !!
Please do a test on the 45W Charger too, Danny. Great video btw. 👍👍😀
Of course! As soon as I get a hold of it. Looks like proprietary charging in that brick.
Danny Winget Yes, it uses a technology called PPS on top of USB PD. Thanks again😀

Still faster that apple's 5w brick.😂
Great video. Where did you find the Spidey wallpaper please ?
What is the stopwatch model?
It looks dope
It is a front row camera and costs $220
Great video dude!
Thank you for doing this. Now I need to get the new 15W wireless charger. You're the first person who did this. You deserve a sub from me

It’s actually not a stop watch. It’s called FrontRow. It was an action camera from a while back but I am sure it’s discontinued.
