"Mr. Yamazaki, what type of drills peak your interest?"
Yamazaki: _(sadistic smile) Yes._
Since Yamazaki is too crazy for this Orochi power to take him over, he's canonically the most powerful character in Fatal Fury or King of Fighters.
Someone else finally said it.
Who knows?
Maybe Orochi doesn't exist in the Fatal Fury/Art of Fighting timeline.
Remember, KOF is ANOTHER timeline.
Fatal Fury/AOF universe was more down to earth.
Maybe Yamazaki in FF is not as powerful than his KOF counterpart.
His rival is Hon Fu after all.
Maybe Yamazaki is not a hakkeshu.
Still, there’s something to be said about his level of insanity if a godlike deity can’t control him. Still not someone you’d wanna fight no matter what style you know. Also, I think some of his special moves clearly show him using Orochi Power.
Terry has battled him in the kof timeline and won, so no, Rugal couldn't cointain the orochi power neither.
Disagreed. It's about strength of will, not strength in general. Calling him the strongest is like calling the Joker the smartest man in DC universe, which is not the case at all.
Yamazaki is the definition of “CRAZYNESS”
Such a killer character
Kof characters are pure💥
The fact that he holds his right hand in pocket for most of time because it is so powerful just shows how dangerous Yamazaki is
He keeps his right hand in his pocket cuz his pocket because his idol once praised the power of that particular fist, and only uses it for special techniques
I think it's because it has a knife and since weapons weren't allowed in the KOF tournament....
@@K.Thulaninah, it's just because his adoptive figure praised the power of that particular fist, and he holds it on his pocket subconsciously ever since he saw him get killed.
1:54 *Here's* the reason he keeps that hand in his pocket.
One of my favorite fighting game characters of all time. I love how sadistic and badass he is.
I like the fact that yamazaki and terry stole from each other's climax super, as now terry's buster ignition is like the final part of drill, and yamazaki smash the ground with a geyser similar or power geyser.
They make Yamazaki looked weak, the best one is in ff wild ambition, they toned down his craziness and sadistic in KOF XV
@@ahmadfarhanabdkarim7880 How is that? Making Yamazaki look weak is the same as turning him back into an insecure scaredy cat who fights out of instinct. The Yamazaki in KOF XV is the STRONGEST YET, as his psychotic tendencies are clearly shown to the audience and IS THE LEAST HINGED VERSION OF YAMAZAKI TO DATE!
@@UltramanMebiusBrave in ff wild ambition his move is too sadistic
Level 1 - just drill
Level 2 - stomp and kick combination and then drill
Level 3 - headbutt repeatedly and drill
Level 4 - smash opponent face repeatedly on floor and drill
Level 5 - punches and drill
Level 3 and 4 in ff wild ambition is too hardcore and sadistic so they change to shitty one in KOF XV
If one drill is too powerful why it is need a second drill on level 4 in KOF XV?
@@ahmadfarhanabdkarim7880they should of keep the MAX2 from 2002 super in XV because the way he goes crazy with the knifes is such insanity kill from him.
One of the best and satisfying desperation/climax/finishing move in fighting games... and it's fun watching Yamazaki thrashing random items at his opponents, regardless of gender.
Dude he’s such a sick character
I love how he's truly a nutty maniac in Wild Ambition lol, he's my currently most used KOF main and alsoy training motivation xD (not to be crazy)
Yamazaki ...been my favorite character 😊
Greatest fighting game super move of all time.
It is indeed great, yamazaki is my fav villian from the series, his insanity and fighting style are savage and this move proves it
K' with his Chain Drive: _I'm gonna end this man's whole career_
Surely it's actually his one where he literally drags his -opponent's- victim's face across the floor before kicking them up the butt. 🤣
I didn't know the Wild Ambition's versions would define the ones in KOF XIV/XV... like the double snake punches.
I still believe nothing is more fun than smacking some random item on someone's head like a swordfish or an Athena billboard.
If Yamazaki pulls out his other hand from his pocket, RUN.
Here are some things bout ryuji…
1) He sticks his tongue at his opponents.
2) He laugh like a crazy maniac.
3) He can extend his arms at his opponents.
4) He often takes knife a whenever he wants.
More things about Him:
5) He's a Hakkesshu
6)His presence alone strikes fear into his opponents
7) He has two personalities
8)He loves Horse Meat
9)He can keep his enemies alive, increasing and prolonging the pain
10)He is able to resist the Riot of the Blood, not even other characters like Iori Yagami or Leona Heidern are able to resist
@@Sun-God2 To tell the truth, ryuji Yamasaki is one craziest bastard every own in the kof universe.
@@Sun-God2 It's true, he likes horse meat
Yamazaki's perfect Assist Trophy move, Drill!
If he touches his opponent, he can do one of these things...
A stomp and punch combo
A kick & headbutt combo
A headbutt combo
Yamazaki slamming an object on top of the opponent
A Serpent Slash combo
A Bai Gaeshi projectile barrage
A kick and knife slash flurry
and finish with his energetic drill punch.
Would you hit your friend for $100.
Girls: nah we're best friends for Life can never do that.
Boys: 17:07
IPPEN SHINDEKOI!!!
Yamazaki sounds absolutely insane
Because he *is?*
* Ryûji Yamazaki :
_ A yakuza.
_From Fatal Fury 3
_ From KOF 97
A DLC character in KOF XIV, KOF XV. 😅
Now I am not even sure if he's going to be part of the main roster or becoming DLC again in City of the Wolves.
Ryuji Yamazaki is best BİG BOY fighting games🤤
Bro???
@@wockytalkie8352 Yeah!!
In my book yamazaki is the most powerful character and my favorite character
Vice too
@@nyarlathoteppadredelosmilr7628
FF Wild Ambition is the best
Miss the opponent -Drill
Level 0-Drill
Level 1-Kicks and stomps
Level 2-Headbutts
Level 3-Slammed head to floor
Level 4-Punches
They should put another level
Level 5-Projectiles
That would be brutal to accomplish
He has that, check out the 13:42 mark of the video.
@@charliegoblyn3411 oh, cool
I love this crazy SOB. A bit of a trick and a half to use him properly but once you get it down to a science, you can really bust some heads with him. For me his best version was in KOF 98, but I really like the KOF 15 version of him. Pimpin out with that white overcoat while he beats the shit out of you.
agreed, that white coat fits him perfectly and they did him right with how they animated his supers
I have never seen so much variation before for just one super, and each version just gets more and more brutal and over the top. What a great character.
Most badass fighting game character.
My girlfriend says: "You just like this character because he's crazy."
I answer: "Yes, he is crazy and has a really nice coat."
Mi personaje favorito para toda la vida 🛐❤️
4:57 I want to see this in KOF xvi
9:57 - best evil laugh ever
Dang! Just how many drill attacks does this guy has?
Enough to wipe someone out of existence.
@@HiddenVariable777
more than enough
Yes
Billions, by my count.
Then again, it’s Yamazaki we’re talking about. Considering how he is, I think you know the drill.
Fantastic character. This is insane.
I need to play Yamazaki more, i had no idea he had this many animations for his drill special. That is ao friggin' cool
Ryuji Yamazaki is a definition of "Psycho"
13:42 is so hard to do
Imo yamazaki is the coolest character in fighting games all time.
Damn, what a savage mofo, I dont EVER wanna get on his bad side, at all!
Amo a loucura do yamazaki 😂❤
4:54 that's by far my favorite Yamazaki's Drill combo
In KOF 15 he is Donquixote Yamazaki.
Not
15:32 and 16:40 you did it again thx!!!
13:39 - My GOD, that 5th Drill Variant is just as insanely evil as Rugal's Blood Red Gigantic/Dark Pressure.
Capcom vs snk 2 is still my favorite yamazaki
Same here easily has his best voice
His crazed exclamations just sound so cathartic to me. It's like all my resentments and frustrations were all expressed by him and I feel better and more relaxed.
Such a gentleman to lay you out like that
I don't know why but I prefer Yamazaki's voice in Real Bout Fatal Fury.
He sounds insane (as always) but there are moments where he actually sounds sane, more like a troll than a crazy madman.
Or maybe is just me 😅
KOF XV > Everything else. With each new game, Yamazaki sounds less and less and even less hinged and sane. Older games just make him sound insecure and too tragic until RBFFS fixed that to make him sound crazy.
@@UltramanMebiusBraveWho is canonically stronger: Geese Howard or Ryuji Yamazaki?
15:31 took me a second to realize why you kept repeating that. Had no idea he used different things to smash the opponent with! 😳
Now i want Yamazaki in Tekken 8
Greatest fighter of kof saga and fatal fury yamazaki
For those wondering about 98 Yamazaki and the Um variant why there are two variants one of them is the "Boss" variant
It's the Fatal Fury variant actually
The normal Yamazaki is the KOF's variant
Yamasaki is crazy mofo that the Orochi doesn't even affect him.
You gotta love the random things he throws in KOF 14&15, I mean, he slams a tuna for crying out loud 😂.
CVS yondan drill is my favorite.
Is your channel monetized I am also thinking to make such evolution channel
Yamazaki=Giant from Doraemon 😅
DR.Yamazaki
Anyone with a laugh like that in any Japanese game or Anime is insane. Reminds me of Jugo in Naruto when he uses to much nature chakras and goes insane!
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Shark syrup , gonna go to school today
- ryuji yamazaki
Homero Simpson: tiene tantos estilos xD
Sadly his recent appearances don't have the knife variant of the super.
No more drooling 🥲
Desde 1995 um doido de pedra. 😅
Involution.
He’s my main since all KOF series didn’t like Capcom vs snk they had to nerf his powerful moves and made him too weak..but he’s on beast of a fighter…
Question about Kof 2002
I know how to do the drill move
but how do u do the drill serpent variations?
You tap A+C 13x after Yamazaki punches up
@@Sun-God2 I found out a few hours after that comment but thanks for the help anyway!
Yamazaki is the best badass 😂😂
Depois de 2002 parou de evoluir!
Trivia: Oro is Capcom's answer to Yamazaki. Yamazaki only uses one hand (mostly). But Oro has that lame excuse he's too powerful when using both hands. In SFV, the excuse is to hold a turtle.
But he's not as cool as Yamazaki.
Yamazaki >>> Iori IMO
Ouch
Is there any advantage for the different variants of the super? Like, why wouldn't anyone always go for the final version?
It happens if you don't mash fast enough and you have to do it really fast. Except 14 and 15, it's for the fish and other stuffs
More damage

F@cks you up while his other hand is in his pocket 🔥🔥🔥🔥
From the SNK wiki- Fighting style: Personal art of combative homicide. 😈
7:58 Why didn't he grab opponent's head?
Does anyone know the list of overdrive attack that Ryuji Yamazaki performs in the time frame shown?👇
4:47 5:19
Kono Zako Ga
Kudarane
Keshi Tobi Na
Nearly 18 minutes of Yamazaki laughing like a loon. A good video.
You missed fatal fury f-contact
Where's the 98UM EX Yamazaki variations?
Are the same but level 5 Drill when release projectiles
İdol olarak görüyorum
Personally, I am partial to the multiple headbutts variant he had in 97.
So much that I even used to try not to mash buttons too much to avoid getting the flailing arms version
8:40 yo pensaba que era una lengua XD
"Madou in ohio chikara o misete yarou"
I remember a 3d game that isn't wild ambition, but i can't find the name
Maximum impact? If so i don't think he was in it
Pretty cool they made a fighting game character based on the japanese thug archetype. He really does seem like someone who goes looking for victims. Terrifying.
Personally, I think the impact of the climax of KOF 14 looks better, but I think the impact of KOF 15 is a bit of a pain to the eyes. Ah, but I think the climax of KOF 15 is better than KOF 14.
