There were times when my Mother did go to the Latin Mass - and even all those years later - tears came to her eyes when she saw all those children with their Mothers and Fathers.
Especially the Fathers, because of what happened to her in the late 1940's/mid 1950's.
She was a brick - a strong brick - for not abandoning Tradition - because of what had happened to her those years before when she was a child by her father.
God does heal wounds - but it still struck sadness into my Mother every now and again when when we went to the Latin Mass - especially her seeing the children with their fathers.
She prayed to Heaven to help her focus on Mass, and not the children - and Heaven helped her focus on Mass - and hold tight to Tradition.

My Dearest Mother was born in 1940, and She ABSOLUTELY LOVED the Latin Mass.
She was resistant to the Vatican II changes of the 1960's.
I was born in 1980, and just recently celebrated my 41st birthday in November.
People - even the most Protestant of Protestant - ask me what would my Mother to be, and attend Mass?
The Latin Mass, or the English? And they tell me the obvious. This Mass.......and these ppl don't even know, and they never met her.
But I've told them about her. Through and through.
Even the most Protestant of Protestant have respect for my Dearest Mother - yeah, even the most Protestant of Protestant.

My Dearest Mother absolutely LOVED this, and some people I know try to encourage me to reattend this.
But the only time I go back to Mass of ANY type - especially this, because my Dearest Mother loved it - is when I'm extremely high on weed.
So I don't go, because I know I would disrupt Mass, and I absolutely refuse to do so.
My Dearest Mother had this utmost RESPECT for this Mass.

This reminds me of going to mass when I was young. I can just remember the mass being in Latin. I sometimes wonder if it was a mistake to go progressive and throw out the traditions which stood the test of time.

The organist at the time was pushing 90 years old, I believe he was 88 when the video was shot. I wish someone would shoot another video when the organ is opened up. IT has a lot more guts than is shown here, although there are no compound stops.........yet.

I should say my future Mother - the late 1940's/mid 1950's.
    She was married in 1962.
Despite the abuse my future Mother endured by her dad in the late 1940's/mid 1950's, she held tight to Tradition, and still went to Mass.
It is NOT the Latin Mass's fault my future Mother was being abused by her own dad back then.
And Pope Francis should be ashamed of himself for crushing this beautiful Mass.
And I admire my future Mother's strength and endurance during that difficult time she went thru with her dad during the late 1940's/mid 1950's.
She still went to Mass and held onto Tradition.

I'm so sorry about Pope Francis wanting to ban this beautiful Mass.
My Mother loved the Latin Mass.
And, despite her being molested by her own father in the traditional days of the late 1940's/mid 1950's, she still held strong to Traditional Catholicism.
I'm going to admit when I heard about Pope Francis, I kind of celebrated it, because my Mom was being abused by HER OWN FATHER in the late 1940's/mid 1950's.
But none of what happened to my Mother is the Latin Mass's fault - I repented of this "celebration" of what Francis has done.
He should be ashamed of himself, really he should.
And yet, my Mother held tight to Traditional, despite the abuse she endured by her own dad.
And I don't go to the Traditional Latin Mass, because of the tender memories of my Mother - she loved this so much.

    • @redchojnowski7159
      @redchojnowski7159 2 года назад

Yet, what was my Mother supposed to do back then?
Children back then we're taught to be seen and not heard.
If I were to have seen it - despite it being the late 1940's/mid 1950's, I would have reported the abuse to the police.
I understand she was not my Mother yet - she was my future Mother.
But the fact that she was abused at all, makes me sad.
But it's not an excuse to hate Traditional.
And especially NOT an excuse to "celebrate" Pope Francis's crushing down on this beautiful Mass.
I am so sorry from the bottom of my heart that a Pope would want to do this.
And, yet, in spite of the abuse my future Mom endured by her dad, she held onto Traditional, and this beautiful Mass.
There is nothing wrong with Tradition.
