Most underrated Drummer that I am currently aware of. I go to bed every night wishing that Bucket, Les, and Brain will randomly decide to reunite and tour small venues again.😞
@@nekutta8298verybody seems to prefer Tim and I don’t get it. The stuff they made with him just sounded way too simplified and generic imo. Still a great drummer, but I think he gets overrated with the fans since he’s been there the longest, but Bryan and a few of the others had that huge explosive in the pocket tight craziness that seems to be lacking within the band drumparts these days
@@nekutta8298ere compare this solo to the one in this video ruclips.net/video/_H0XlnRn6O8/видео.html Boring… Sure he has some amazing technique and buildup, but Bryans was raw fast and angry! A lot more power
@@smarkmalark Boring? Sir that was a journey! Brain’s great but you undersell Tim to the point where it’s a crime! Easily their best drummer sorry but not sorry!
@@smarkmalarksuper late to this convo, but I will say that I greatly prefer Tim not because of his energy, which he most certainly lacks in comparison to Brain, but because his technique and technical ability is something special. He wasn’t nearly as punk as brain, but I definitely find him more skilled.
Wow amazing...he's a stunning player...I was playing hurricane festival in 1997 and saw the Primus guys in the catering tent but unfortunately missed the show due to travel commitments.. thankfully the next days show at Lorely is on RUclips..was blessed to see Brian playing with Guns and Roses though in Leeds 2002..that was a trip 👌
You either Love or Hate "the Brown album" I LOVE it! the songs are Great, the last song bears the name of my dog and the drums-sound! Never got into any other of the Primus albums for some odd reason, including ths second one BBM drums... (the Ginger Baker group album is great as well, fynnu...)
Love this guy....I love all primus drummers though... Brian brought something a little different groove wise with the smaller kit...if anything I wish the brown album was recorded by Toby Wright who did rhinoplasty!
😮True Breast of an Animal on the Boomb Battsl ! The only way he stops is if he gets tranquilized by a Game Warden ! Iv never seen it in person , this is only speculation.......😮
He did well in filling in Herb's shoes, in my opinion, and brought his own style to the Primus buffet
I love Brains Style and Sound. A great Drummer who has influenced me a lot..
Same!

Buckethead and Brain = perfection ❤
This dude murders it. Holy crap.

Really? I'd prefer tim

I am very impressed reminds me of geezer from black Sabbath 😊
His drum solo in tommy the cat on rhinoplasty is unreal
the Brown album is my favorite because of him
One of the best ever! One of my favorite of all time and a brilliant nice guy
My dad’s cousin! First time seeing what he looks like and sounds like, he is really good!
Wow!Nicely done brains Bryan’s cousin! You have genius dna

"The man, the myth, the psuedo Mexican....Brain" -L.C
Yessss❤❤❤
Brain was definitely the Primus drummer with the best stage presence.
I get a caveman vibe from him. Like the way he bangs away. If a caveman was also a great drummer it'd be this guy
man is an absolute BEAST! love it

Song at 2:18?
Bob's Party Time Lounge from brown album ruclips.net/video/KlYazFQwCRE/видео.html
Pole!
very bright drummer
Se pasa por los guevos a Danny Carey...
Jajajajajaja
wtf does Danny have to do with Brain?
I think maybe is because Danny played with Primus sometimes (when Herb was sick for example), for me to beasts with their own style.
Hubiera tocado así un solo genial de batería cuando estaba en Guns n Roses :(
Regresa brain a Guns and roses
Quem deveria retornar é Matt Sorum. Matt foi o melhor baterista que passou pelo Guns N' Roses. Brain Mantia não tem nada a ver com a banda.
umm..F-yeah!
One word! “Herb”
2:16: who screamed that? that didnt sound like les.
It was Les
That’s Les

Do you own any of this content? 💩
Hey look it’s the content police!
Hi from Chile!! The power of Brain is the best in the "Brown Album" and "Antipop".
Can’t forget Rhinoplasty 🔥
