Is it just me, but I found that transforming the leg part is sooo hard... I can't really make them line up well...

Same story here. Got super frustrated by it too until I figured out that just not pegging in the feet in jet mode seems to line everything up better for me, so I guess you could try that? I guess on my copy pegging in the feet knocks everything out of alignment.

Okay, thank you very much, the printed instructions were kinda hard to see/follow on some steps and apparently I have a bad copy as all the pegs in the legs are SUUUUPER tight and it's nigh unto impossible to try to get everything to fit together and line up so until I can sand down everything just a touch and try again one's gonna stay in robot mode, which is a shame as I love his vehicle mode :/

Jon Sleeper Still better than the original. Also, if you’ve ever seen an SR-71 in real life, they are INCREDIBLY thin aircraft. If one of those actually transformed, there would be no possible way for it to be as bulky as Jetfire was in the movie. Kibble is pretty much unavoidable. I think they hid it away really nicely with this version, I have the old one and it’s so gaudy..

Why can't they disguise the whole robot parts instead of just the top side only? He's fully hidden on top but not under. Just my honest opinion.

It's pretty hard and requires much more engineering than the budget allows, also the the jet itself is very flat and doesn't have enough bulk to easily create a robot out of
