Hi Lindah: I watched your "Model Shoot" about a year ago, and it was one of the reasons I put the AD100 Pro in my cart at B&H. I finally bought it a month ago and I LOVE IT!!! I'm all about portability and since I just turned 80, I'm finding lighter equipment to be right up my alley. I had also invested in just about every MagMod thing there is, except one set of gels and the MagBox...I even bought 2 of the MagGrip2's for round flashes. Boy those are tough to get onto ANYthing!!! I wish I could return them. THIS VIDEO IS THE ONLY ONE I've come across that shows MagMod gear on the AD100!!! I was thrilled to see you put a regular Grip on it, my finger strength couldn't make it happen, so I'll get a male friend of mine to mount it for me. I can't wait to try all my MagMod goodies on the 100!!! Thank you so much! (I left a comment awhile ago after re-watching your Model Shoot video, so I'll go delete my question about using MagMod accessories on this little flash.) You're awesome!
Nice review, thanks. I can see the benefit of being able to fit the MagSphere to the AD100, but can’t see why you’d use the MagMod grids and gels over the Godox items that clip right into the AD100 without the MagMod rubber mount. Also, would have been useful if you’d also shown the Godox triggers in this review as in the real world most will only touch the rear controls for powering up and down of the strobe. Keep up the good work though. Looking forward to seeing some field test results
I haven't yet got my hands on that strobe yet. I have checked out some reviews on YT and although it looks great, I'm a big fan of shooting with one ecosystem.
Okay... I want to know if this flash is an addition you could see having in your kit and if you'd use it primarily in studio or on location?

Good choice. The 200s are just such a nice combo of power and size. Easy to double up when you need more wattage too
