This seems to have never happened. There’s a podcast where the other person called him corny while Lor’el said no and went on to compliment him. Seems he mistook the voices or was just straight wrong. Her saying he’s not corny anymore is because she likely has no idea what he’s talking about and wanted to boost his self esteem in case someone else bullied him. She didn’t make the comment, someone else on the same podcast did so it wasn’t even memorable to her. Wasn’t even when they were kids. What a mess

I have been a fan of the brother Mike B since he did the movie Fruitvale Station back in 2013, however to be fair Lore'l did not called him corny it was that ghetto hood 🐀Dominique the diva that called him corny.
Lore'l said that some of the kids at school use to make fun of Mike's name being Michael Jordan (which is a lame thing to do he didn't name himself) and she also said that Mike would bring to school photo shots of himself because Mike was inspiring to be a model when he was a kid because his father was asked by a woman has he ever done any modeling work when Mike was a kid.
It isn't fair for her to get blame for saying something that she didn't say about him.

And it’s not just black women, black men do this (but not to the same degree, and it usually stops in HS…usually). So that leads to the other point-no, I’m not attacking all black women, or black girls from my childhood. I just understand the dynamics of how things work in my community. I have a similar experience to MBJ: black girls were mean as hell to me, bullied me, etc. When asked why they didn’t like me, they’d simply say “idk. Idk if you’re from nyc, but blk kids here like to sit in the back of the city bus (a$$ backwards!); and one day, while on my way to school, me and a few guys were talking; well, I was mostly listening. They were talking about which girl from school was “bad,” etc etc. Girls that, in my opinion, weren’t all that; they just had clout. Anyway, I brought up the girl I was talking about; the beautiful one, Kayla. But you know, she was in her semi-awkward phase: wore big Reeboks, didn’t dress fly, was responsible (omg lol), etc. So I brought her up and they start clowning me and calling me lame. Straight up laughing at me. I cut their a$$ back, of course, but i definitely stop talking to those guys (I can’t stand stupidity). Long story short, it’s sophomore year of college, and those same guys see the girl I was bigging up on Facebook. And man, talk about a glow up. Which is crazy because she was already so gorgeous before, but now, she was confident in her sexiness, dressed differently, did her hair differently, etc. And those guys come to me saying, while at a party: “Yo!!!! You see Kayla??? She’s BAD AF, bro! Got damn. I always knew she was bad. I told y’all niccas.” I had to shut that down right away and remind them of their ignorant selves. Pathetic. Anyway, this is how clownish the blk community can be. It’s worse with women because they end up realizing this too late lol. But the difference between a person who has grown versus a person who hasn’t changed is admitting it, owning up to and just being like “Oh shit that’s right I did do that.
