Dam Build Time-lapse of Today

We have been working on the base of the dam for a while. Today we rounded the corner of the pond outline and this is our day in Time-lapse.
We keep the pond drained which is a daily challenge. There is ponds all around us and at least 1 acre of this corner of our property is never dry. We decided to make a pond out of it since that is what is wants to be anyway.
All four in in family work on this, all on Kubota's. We tried to hire this out, called 3 companies, 1 showed up, ZERO estimates. So we just keep rolling.

Hope you guys are well. We rented a stump grinder over weekend, still so much clean up ahead of us and we're not getting any younger! ❤️

The stump grinders are a CHORE for sure. We found it was just as economical for us to hire an excavator to snatch the rootballs out. Of course we figured this out after about 500 stumps ground LOL Rough stuff guys!!!! I am leveling ground on 3 acres which is insane. It was woods and now field. Good thing I enjoy leveling with my planer. LOL It never ends.
