As usual when using pip, using pipx instead of pip or pip3 is probably recommended since it won't create weird dependency collisions with your system packages
Pretty sure DT is responsible for getting me into Music On Console, which is a fantastic terminal music program, so I will definitely try this out. Running in the terminal probably guarantees no ads, which is a great deal.

Hey DT! More and more websites refuse to work with Firefox. The latest one is Twitch. Do you know of a workaround? Obviously changing user agent does not work.
Do you have Firefox heavy on no scripts ETC, because I loaded twitch fine on Firefox on my fedora and on windows and android and it loaded fine on all 3
python -m pip install often works better... And use the --user flag to install the module for a specific user... but I am just talking out the side of my mouth so...
another geometric drowing i made,the fith or more umbuntu used without asking if it was ok to use them,but other distros did the same thing,the minimum they could do,is give me credit for the art work
There are a few good stations left. Weirdly enough mostly in Europe and plenty of pirate shortwave stations originating from the upper part of the USA. One of my favorites was a Dutch AM station called United AM. It was ran by one guy and he played all types of music from the late 60's-mid 90's

Yeah, I'm not sure why he didn't activate the virtualenv. Nowadays for something like this web radio application, I would just use pipx instead to make things easier.
I rarely ever listen to the radio, but I love stuff like this. I also agree, the 80's was the best decade for music!

The 80s was *clearly* the best decade for music. You can have my PyRadio when you pry it from my cold, dead hands, though.
Been listen to music through my terminal forever using pyradio. Very easy to setup and add radio stations.

@@pw1187 Loading and using Twitch works fine. But Firefox on Linux is no longer supported, so you're not gonna be able to sign in anymore.

I guess Ubuntu is a pain in the rear in fedora all I had to do is do the pip3 install - -upgrade radio-active
