I'm glad the MW II guns got more buffs to the base models, but the bigger issue is they didn't change any of the barrels or stocks stats for the MW III meta, so the downsides make them not worth using. It really limits the configurations you can make.
It's probably too much work to fix all MWII gun barrel and stock attachments. But a workaround for the issue could be allowing attachment tuning for only the MWII attachments with MWII guns as was the plan or intention from 2022. Tuning could also, to an extent?, be the reason for the bad stats on the attachments. With tuning you could get better ADST for example which could make for a nice workaround.
@@KAACHOW They are, but the problem with MWII barrels and stocks is that percentage impact of negatives is far greater than percentage impact of positives. Like you'll get maybe 2 or 3% reduction in recoil, but -10% reduction in ADS and movement stats.

No 9mm Daemon buff is a big disappointment considering that it was buffed in the patch notes two updates ago, but not in game. A dev commented that they did indeed mean to buff it but at this point I'm loosing hope 😔

I complete forgot attachment tuning was a thing in MWII, but saying that.. it would’ve been nice if the attachments were buffed to put them in line with some of the MWIII attachments. @saragraphics Nah weapon tuning was just a gimmick in MW2. The time it would take to just reduce the penalties is literally no more than half a season to get at least all ARs and SMGs fixed. They only ported the mw2 guns and I believe MW2 you couldn't see special stats. So although the base model was ported, all the attachments except muzzle and Undrbarrels were not adjusted for mw3. The underbarrels were properly adjusted before mw3 released as those don't have any issues with buffs and penalties (some are mw2 attachments that work properly and have accurate Positives and negatives) The actual weapon specific attachments were never properly adjusted. They stayed at the real base version. So if the penalty is 80 percent, it's because that is exactly how much it was in mw2. Weapon tuning basically reduced that to maybe half the amount or a little more

Man the P890 not being able to 2-3 shot consistently anymore was killing me, and not having as consistent one shots with the 50 gs was definitely felt. So glad to see these changed

But that seems to translate to real life too: from what I read in articles online, generally speaking it is better to use a Compound Bow than a Crossbow. Reminds me of how they nerfed the Bas-B (AKA the XM7 in real life) to make it's rate of fire equal to it's real life counterpart from 667rpm to 600rpm that made it weaker but I guess they try to maintain some accuracy to the real guns/weapons.

I feel the sab was ruined a bit with the removal of upper arm multipliers. Basically reverted it to being nearly useless again. Anyone you see side on will be hitmarkers.
I’ve loved using the crossbow, it’s an art form. My gut tells me that this buff makes it more competitive with the compound bow, which was beating the crossbow on everything (speed, ammo capacity, being a launcher instead of a primary,) except the ability to apply a scope.
Tried the Bryson 800 out last night,after watching this. I can confirm it's great to use. I used the same set up as I did that you recommended in MW2. Probably be my main shotgun for the rest of the life cycle

I'm just annoyed that there is still no fix for the FJX Horus when using the Angled Grips or Bruen Heavy Support Grip with the Martis Heavy Barrel or the Aftermarket Kit equipped and its been bugged for awhile. On the plus side I am happy for the MWII Pistol buffs. The X13 Auto was my favorite and maybe its time to use it again.

It's a marksman rifle, not a sniper rifle. And it was quite OP in close quarters before, at least now it will be slightly weaker.... Tho I'd still kill the living shit out of its ADS. Should be no less than 350 ms

It is a common misconception that the MWII guns were unusable/unviable for the entire life cycle of the game. This is completely not true by a large margin, here's a lot of guns which are better or somewhat equal with many of the MWIII guns for multiplayer: The Vel46 with/without a 60 Rnd mag, Rapp-H, MCPR sniper, ISO45, Lachmann Shroud, Tempus Razorback, M13B, Chimera, Lachmann-762 in full-auto, Lachmann-556, Taq-M, Carrack.300 with a very long to 2 shot kill, BAS-P, Signal 50, Iso Hemlock for long range, FR Avancer, MX9 because of recoil and subsonic ammo, Fennec .45 because of good accuracy even when equipping all recoil reducing attachments for speed and subsonic ammo, Taq-V at very long range, Sakin-MG38, .50 GS for semi-auto two shots, FTAC-Recon in full auto
@@fatesblade7171 The reason people say that is because of the fact they are generically on average worse. Attachments generally have way more downsides compared to MWIII weapons and general handling is again, generically worse. Some may have competitive TTKs, which is great, but that hardly matters if someone can go from full tac sprint to shooting you accurately with literally any MWIII weapon faster than you can ADS to get accurate with a MWII weapon. We're assuming perfect scenario where everyone is on point with reaction and accuracy of course. Even in the case of the MWII weapons having faster TTK that hardly matters if you can't raise the weapon up fast enough to get on target... because many of them literally have ADS speeds equivalent to or even slower than the TTK of many MWIII weapons, this is ignoring sprintout times. You can use MWII weapons but have fun doing that against the generic sweat still abusing the Superi or Static in the average engagement range for this game. I'm of course assuming we are all having to deal with them here. With as bad as these servers are to, peekers advantage is still very prominent as well, and the weapon with the Mach 8 movement speed is always gonna handle that best.

Thank you for being the only streamer to care about MP and realize that WZ is a parasite game mode. It should have never been created. Activision sucked the soul out of MP and attempted to put it in WZ, but completely failed and ended up making both modes suffer.
Warzone is the only thing I play I would never play mp. That's why they are never going to remove it some only play one of each. I have multi-player but only to level up weapons and play with bots because I started to play controller and needed to practice 😅

Lockwood MK2 needed some love and those crossbow buffs are okay. Idt the arrow velocity needed addressing. I just wish the body multiplier zones were changed to include the shoulders.

They didn't touch the spr which 1 shots to the chest and stomach up to 22m, better than the sab pre nerf which was 17m to the stomach like in your graph. The sab just had insane hip fire 1 shot accuracy. Hip fire 1 shot killed 80% of the time up to 10m with a min/max hip fire build. I hope they don't nerf the spr also. I love the rotational aim assist on the marksmen rifles with 1 shot stomach builds (especially with hip fire 🤫).
Did they fix the bug with the advanced uav? Since 2-3 months, every time the uav is popped up, there is one enemy who isn't shown on the minimap.. this is completly frustrating when you go for a nuke and run in the guy who is incignito.
This game is a damn mess. Every week they're tinkering with things that should just never change. Can't ever get used to 1 thing, no consistency ever. All your guns will never be the same month to month. All by design to keep you mentally on edge.
be cool if they kept the old warzone servers up and just left the weapons from that cycle there. they could do shit down the road like a wz1 x wz3 weapons & maps playlist
The same people that have complained about snipers/marksman rifles for years are the same people who run around with akimbo lockwoods/reclaimers and only play small map or shipment playlists. Or even automatic shotguns with 80 rounds and dragons breath. c'mon now..
At around 10:30 you said the X13 used to be a 5 shot and is now a 4 shot, but wasn't it a 6 shot up close before and the damage changes now makes it a 5 shot? 4 shot kill at 923 RPM ROF is kinda insane

@@fatesblade7171it’s not to much work just cut the ads penalty on long barrel bay half and remove movement penalties on them.. MWlll weapons have no ads penalty on long barrels and not to mention they have less visual recoil than MWll weapons.. it’s just pure laziness from the devs

I still disagree with the DTIR changes. All they should've done from the September 24 patch was just slow the RoF down to about 400 rpm and leave the old damage values. Also FINALLY, BENELLI BUFFS
So what do we think that the best shotguns and pistols are now after the buffs? I haven't tried many, but I've been enjoying the pump action and the Baskilis. However it's spelled.
SAB nerf is unnecessary. You won't have the chance to fire the second shot unless your enemy is pretty much handicapped. So as kar98k can 1 shot to the torso that long, spr, sab and lw300 should at least 1 shot to the chest at least to 40m.
It was overkill it was fine where it was yesterday. Maybe they saw some streamers do well with it and felt it was op when in reality it's a hard gun to shoot straight with. I love how they did nothing to the reclaimer and its kit but felt this needed to be nerfed into the ground again.
I never thought about it but MWIII is kind of already a MW2 2009 Multiplayer Remaster (it has lots of the guns from the OG MW2 2009 and all the launch maps) but anyway: please make a video on the top 10 gun builds with a canted laser! Because you can aim while sliding with it. Also I just want to share my thoughts on the gun balance state of MWIII right now: The only guns that need a buff in MWIII IMO! STB 556: buff it so that it has a 4 shot kill with a minimum of 3 shots to the upper torso or arms and one headshot in the maximum damage range. It kills slower than most ARs and even most SMGs at long range which is strange until we consider that it was originally, in MWII 2022, a close range focused AR that needed 1 headshot to reduce the number of shots to kill. The carry forward seems to have removed the potential of the gun sadly now its just not good. Kastov-74u: Buff it so that it's basically a 6 shot kill at longer ranges, and has a little bit farther maximum damage range, 5m maybe. It's supposed to be an AR and SMG hybrid but most ARs and SMGs, which have better handling, kill faster than it at long ranges and are competitive with it at close ranges, which shouldn't be the case. It just doesn't do well up close or at long range. The Jak Intimidator (or M9) conversion kit for the Renetti: Basically it needs to allow the trigger attachment to be changed or it needs a range buff. just watch Ace's video on the kit to know why: ruclips.net/video/pLgwzC7zrI4/видео.html These are the only three guns I consider absolute garbage trash with basically no reason to use them because the MCW, MTZ-556, or M4 are all basically better versions of the STB-556, the BP50 and basically any SMG is a better version of the Kastov74u, and sadly pretty much any pistol is better than The Intimidator Kit
@@MavicAVF the Taq-56 has very good recoil and seems to be unique in that it is the ONLY gun that is always a 5 shot kill regardless of range in MWIII multiplayer (because the max and min damage range is the exact same, so it has no damage drop off) giving it an incredible TTK for an AR on really large maps. The Kastov-545 is much better in warzone, but in multiplayer its good 20 round mag gives it great handling and in semi-auto it can 2-3 shot kill to the head IIRC which isn't bad in MWIII with the slower TTK.
TL;DR Can you explain why you think it doesn't need a buff? The STB556 was made to reduce the number of shots to kill as seen in MWII 2022 like how the MCW can have a 4 shot kill up close so I think the STB556 should have a 4 shot kill in the maximum damage range otherwise there's no real reason to use the STB556 over the MTZ556, M4, or MCW. @@MrKing-he3eo I'm not sure if you're thinking of another gun, but the STB556's up close TTK is 324ms which is not good at all, even the MCW, which has the slowest TTK out of all MWIII ARs, can kill faster than that, at long range the STB556s TTK is 390-405 which is also not great, most ARs like the Holger 556, FR .556, MTZ 556, and even the Kastov 762 kill faster than the STB556 at long range. Also, in MWII 2022 it was made for close encounters and had a good close range TTK with upper torso shots and 1 headshot so I think it's proper for that to return.
The funny thing is, they 100% knew what the DTIR was like before they released it, yet they decided to release like that anyway, only to keep on nerfing it... makes no sense... they think it keeps the game interesting but it really doesn't... purposely making things "OP" or good, just to nerf them until they're way worse or unusable...

The smoke/muzzle flash from this gun and the STG are the worst. Can’t use them it’s so bad. Even on these videos, I basically listen and not watch. They have to fix that going forward.
I think it's permanently gone because people could get out of the map with it. Bitter sweet, I used it but now its users like me will have to learn the maps more for cover.
Speed: Most crossbows today shoot between 250 and 400 feet per second (fps). As a deer hunter so I shoot plenty, why not bring the velocity to actual speeds? Dumb AF to shoot a crossbow and watch it hit the wall literally 2 seconds after firing. I want the game crossbow to atleast be somewhat similar to my real life crossbow.

Seeing a 68% increase to ads speed on the fennec for a barrel that doesn't help recoil and range that much is awful

The problem with the M13C is the mega first shot recoil which garantees you miss the second or even third shot before the recoil calms down again.

I feel the sab was ruined a bit with the removal of upper arm multipliers. Basically reverted it to being nearly useless again. Anyone you see side on will be hitmarkers.
I’ve loved using the crossbow, it’s an art form. My gut tells me that this buff makes it more competitive with the compound bow, which was beating the crossbow on everything (speed, ammo capacity, being a launcher instead of a primary,) except the ability to apply a scope.
Tried the Bryson 800 out last night,after watching this. I can confirm it's great to use. I used the same set up as I did that you recommended in MW2. Probably be my main shotgun for the rest of the life cycle

I'm just annoyed that there is still no fix for the FJX Horus when using the Angled Grips or Bruen Heavy Support Grip with the Martis Heavy Barrel or the Aftermarket Kit equipped and its been bugged for awhile. On the plus side I am happy for the MWII Pistol buffs. The X13 Auto was my favorite and maybe its time to use it again.

It's a marksman rifle, not a sniper rifle. And it was quite OP in close quarters before, at least now it will be slightly weaker.... Tho I'd still kill the living shit out of its ADS. Should be no less than 350 ms

It is a common misconception that the MWII guns were unusable/unviable for the entire life cycle of the game.
This is completely not true by a large margin, here's a lot of guns which are better or somewhat equal with many of the MWIII guns for multiplayer:
The Vel46 with/without a 60 Rnd mag, Rapp-H, MCPR sniper, ISO45, Lachmann Shroud, Tempus Razorback, M13B, Chimera, Lachmann-762 in full-auto, Lachmann-556, Taq-M, Carrack.300 with a very long to 2 shot kill, BAS-P, Signal 50, Iso Hemlock for long range, FR Avancer, MX9 because of recoil and subsonic ammo, Fennec .45 because of good accuracy even when equipping all recoil reducing attachments for speed and subsonic ammo, Taq-V at very long range, Sakin-MG38, .50 GS for semi-auto two shots, FTAC-Recon in full auto

@@fatesblade7171 The reason people say that is because of the fact they are generically on average worse. Attachments generally have way more downsides compared to MWIII weapons and general handling is again, generically worse. Some may have competitive TTKs, which is great, but that hardly matters if someone can go from full tac sprint to shooting you accurately with literally any MWIII weapon faster than you can ADS to get accurate with a MWII weapon. We're assuming perfect scenario where everyone is on point with reaction and accuracy of course. Even in the case of the MWII weapons having faster TTK that hardly matters if you can't raise the weapon up fast enough to get on target... because many of them literally have ADS speeds equivalent to or even slower than the TTK of many MWIII weapons, this is ignoring sprintout times. You can use MWII weapons but have fun doing that against the generic sweat still abusing the Superi or Static in the average engagement range for this game. I'm of course assuming we are all having to deal with them here. With as bad as these servers are to, peekers advantage is still very prominent as well, and the weapon with the Mach 8 movement speed is always gonna handle that best.

Thank you for being the only streamer to care about MP and realize that WZ is a parasite game mode. It should have never been created. Activision sucked the soul out of MP and attempted to put it in WZ, but completely failed and ended up making both modes suffer.
Warzone is the only thing I play I would never play mp. That's why they are never going to remove it some only play one of each. I have multi-player but only to level up weapons and play with bots because I started to play controller and needed to practice 😅

Lockwood MK2 needed some love and those crossbow buffs are okay. Idt the arrow velocity needed addressing. I just wish the body multiplier zones were changed to include the shoulders.

i miss the old black ops shotgun shots to kill clamp where it never takes more than 2 hits to kill. its just better that way.

ADS speeds for mw2 guns need some tweaking I feel. Slap a long range barrel on any of them and its a pretty big penalty to ADS speed

I think they broke the claymores. So many people running through double claymores not damaged or dying.
They didn't touch the spr which 1 shots to the chest and stomach up to 22m, better than the sab pre nerf which was 17m to the stomach like in your graph. The sab just had insane hip fire 1 shot accuracy. Hip fire 1 shot killed 80% of the time up to 10m with a min/max hip fire build. I hope they don't nerf the spr also. I love the rotational aim assist on the marksmen rifles with 1 shot stomach builds (especially with hip fire 🤫).
Did they fix the bug with the advanced uav? Since 2-3 months, every time the uav is popped up, there is one enemy who isn't shown on the minimap.. this is completly frustrating when you go for a nuke and run in the guy who is incignito.
This game is a damn mess. Every week they're tinkering with things that should just never change. Can't ever get used to 1 thing, no consistency ever. All your guns will never be the same month to month. All by design to keep you mentally on edge.

At around 10:30 you said the X13 used to be a 5 shot and is now a 4 shot, but wasn't it a 6 shot up close before and the damage changes now makes it a 5 shot? 4 shot kill at 923 RPM ROF is kinda insane

It's probably too much work and time to fix all MWII gun barrel and stock attachments, with BO6 around the corner. But a workaround for the issue could be allowing attachment tuning for only the MWII attachments with MWII guns as was the plan or intention from 2022. Tuning could also, to an extent?, be the reason for the bad stats on the attachments.
With tuning you could get better ADST for example which could make for a nice workaround.
@@fatesblade7171it’s not to much work just cut the ads penalty on long barrel bay half and remove movement penalties on them.. MWlll weapons have no ads penalty on long barrels and not to mention they have less visual recoil than MWll weapons.. it’s just pure laziness from the devs

These updates should have been done around December 2023, just 3 weeks left but better late than never.
I still disagree with the DTIR changes. All they should've done from the September 24 patch was just slow the RoF down to about 400 rpm and leave the old damage values.

So what do we think that the best shotguns and pistols are now after the buffs? I haven't tried many, but I've been enjoying the pump action and the Baskilis. However it's spelled.

SAB nerf is unnecessary. You won't have the chance to fire the second shot unless your enemy is pretty much handicapped. So as kar98k can 1 shot to the torso that long, spr, sab and lw300 should at least 1 shot to the chest at least to 40m.
It was necessary. You can get its ads faster than 200ms. That out to 40 meters sounds absurd
It was overkill it was fine where it was yesterday. Maybe they saw some streamers do well with it and felt it was op when in reality it's a hard gun to shoot straight with.
I love how they did nothing to the reclaimer and its kit but felt this needed to be nerfed into the ground again.
You can get a second shot off quicker than most snipers and marskman rifles

I never thought about it but MWIII is kind of already a MW2 2009 Multiplayer Remaster (it has lots of the guns from the OG MW2 2009 and all the launch maps) but anyway:
please make a video on the top 10 gun builds with a canted laser! Because you can aim while sliding with it.
Also I just want to share my thoughts on the gun balance state of MWIII right now:
The only guns that need a buff in MWIII IMO!
STB 556: buff it so that it has a 4 shot kill with a minimum of 3 shots to the upper torso or arms and one headshot in the maximum damage range.
It kills slower than most ARs and even most SMGs at long range which is strange until we consider that it was originally, in MWII 2022, a close range focused AR that needed 1 headshot to reduce the number of shots to kill. The carry forward seems to have removed the potential of the gun sadly now its just not good.
Kastov-74u: Buff it so that it's basically a 6 shot kill at longer ranges, and has a little bit farther maximum damage range, 5m maybe.
It's supposed to be an AR and SMG hybrid but most ARs and SMGs, which have better handling, kill faster than it at long ranges and are competitive with it at close ranges, which shouldn't be the case. It just doesn't do well up close or at long range.
The Jak Intimidator (or M9) conversion kit for the Renetti:
Basically it needs to allow the trigger attachment to be changed
or it needs a range buff.

These are the only three guns I consider absolute garbage trash with basically no reason to use them because the MCW, MTZ-556, or M4 are all basically better versions of the STB-556, the BP50 and basically any SMG is a better version of the Kastov74u, and sadly pretty much any pistol is better than The Intimidator Kit

@@MavicAVF the Taq-56 has very good recoil and seems to be unique in that it is the ONLY gun that is always a 5 shot kill regardless of range in MWIII multiplayer (because the max and min damage range is the exact same, so it has no damage drop off) giving it an incredible TTK for an AR on really large maps.
The Kastov-545 is much better in warzone, but in multiplayer its good 20 round mag gives it great handling and in semi-auto it can 2-3 shot kill to the head IIRC which isn't bad in MWIII with the slower TTK.
TL;DR Can you explain why you think it doesn't need a buff? The STB556 was made to reduce the number of shots to kill as seen in MWII 2022 like how the MCW can have a 4 shot kill up close so I think the STB556 should have a 4 shot kill in the maximum damage range otherwise there's no real reason to use the STB556 over the MTZ556, M4, or MCW.
@@MrKing-he3eo I'm not sure if you're thinking of another gun, but the STB556's up close TTK is 324ms which is not good at all, even the MCW, which has the slowest TTK out of all MWIII ARs, can kill faster than that, at long range the STB556s TTK is 390-405 which is also not great, most ARs like the Holger 556, FR .556, MTZ 556, and even the Kastov 762 kill faster than the STB556 at long range. Also, in MWII 2022 it was made for close encounters and had a good close range TTK with upper torso shots and 1 headshot so I think it's proper for that to return.
The funny thing is, they 100% knew what the DTIR was like before they released it, yet they decided to release like that anyway, only to keep on nerfing it... makes no sense... they think it keeps the game interesting but it really doesn't... purposely making things "OP" or good, just to nerf them until they're way worse or unusable...

The smoke/muzzle flash from this gun and the STG are the worst. Can’t use them it’s so bad. Even on these videos, I basically listen and not watch. They have to fix that going forward.
And yet the deployable shield is still gone.
I think it's permanently gone because people could get out of the map with it. Bitter sweet, I used it but now its users like me will have to learn the maps more for cover.
This changes basically nothing about the dtir. They literally just need to nerf the damage and call it a day

Speed: Most crossbows today shoot between 250 and 400 feet per second (fps). As a deer hunter so I shoot plenty, why not bring the velocity to actual speeds? Dumb AF to shoot a crossbow and watch it hit the wall literally 2 seconds after firing. I want the game crossbow to atleast be somewhat similar to my real life crossbow.
