Would you rather be the start of a label or just be classified as an artist in a label that already has a bunch of bigger names
@@vr_7408 i would absolutely pick a more known and well established label as that label has more of a pool of income and keeps me stable career wise. Picking and growing with a label helps with nothing and is almost pointless. You could literally sign a contract and pay a label with money you don’t make even though your “up and coming” label isn’t giving you publicly enough to generate income so you could just be paying out of pocket.
What if the label fails. Your in a contract with a failing label and you probably won’t get a second chance at a bigger one after that
