The big thing is to look at what your roof rail dynamic and static weight rating is. I'd guess the smaller 23 Zero X would work as well as many of the lighter clamshell tents too. As long as your roof can handle the weight you can choose whatever tent you want. 4x4 Colorado tents are generally heavier, but they're pretty awesome. That's what we ended up buying for the Tacoma.
@@xpoint9629 No problem. The Alto Series from 4x4 Colorado would be out in that case, but there other tents would work. NImbus and Stratus. My friend Bryan got an Intrepid Geo 2.5, but hasn't had a chance to try it. That tent is pretty unique. The clamshells are quick to setup/takedown and are lighter. If you are close to an Overland Expo, that's a great place to check out tents too. PWN is coming up and Mountain West and East are in the fall. So that may not work. Also don't be afraid to look on Facebook to see what people might be selling. Many people get into RTTs and then sell them because they don't use them.
It was a 23 Zero Armadillo. The 4x4 Colorado Atmos Air would also work at 118 pounds and there are a few others under that weight limit too. Mostly clamshell types.
This might be a good tent for my CX-5!
It might very well be as long as it can handle the weight! Thanks for watching.
What is the recommendation for a 2022 Forester Wilderness?

Thank you. Statically it can handle 800lbs, dynamically 220 lbs.@@BenInBeta
