As a visual learner like you, Scott, I'm over the moon after watching your Mohiomap tutorial. Your sticky note to keep you on track during the making of your video is a great idea for people like me who are getting more forgetful as we acquire more life experience. Great tut! Many thanks! :)
+Phillip Berkun Thanks!
I question the security of exposing my notes to yet another entity. I downloaded the maps app and when the permissions page popped up wanting access to my notes I really thought.......nope. Just not for me but thanks for posting. For the people that will use it.
Thank you Scott!
I found Mohio a great way to better manage my notes and stacks and in much less time. Thank you for the lesson!.
+Roy Chin You are welcome!
When I started using this program, I had no idea about how extensive it is. Going to have to take each of these instructional videos one at a time & really learn the program. Thanks Scott!
+John Carlson Welcome!
Thank you so much for opening my eyes to the functionality of Mohiomap. Up until now I chiefly saw it as a cool way of displaying all my Evernote files. I didn't realise how much you could actually do with it. I'll certainly be using many of you tips to organise my Evernote account in a more efficient way.
+Richard Burton You are welcome! How it is working out for you?
Thanks a lot Scott!
Excellent presentation, great explanation of what Mohiomap can do with Evernote, and wonderful tips and take-aways. Thanks.
+Joanna Cravey Hutt So glad you enjoyed this Joanna!
Great Job Scott and thank you for taken the time to share great insights. It is surely helping me now as I go through it right this moment.
+Arnold Freeman You are welcome Arnold!
Scott, the checklist is a great idea, but why not use an Evernote note with checkboxes instead of a Sticky Note? The checkboxes would be easier to follow than highlighting or bolding what's been covered.
Thanks Scott The list was helpful to you and me. I didn't mind you referring to then at all. I appreciate the knowledge!
+John Holser Thanks!
Thanks for the video! I appreciated the notes, helped me stay on track and see how far we had to go. Tried to create a stack and an error message popped up: "edam not found". Will def use this to organize my notebooks/
+Denine Carter Awesome Denine!
Thanks!
+David Orrison You are welcome!
Scott, really appreciate your explanation of Mohio Map. Had looked at it awhile ago, but looked confusing, and didn't have the time to figure it out. So, your walk thru is really helpful, and looking at Mohio again, looks great, so will start using it. Don't use many tags, as I haven't really found a need.
Also, wondering if you have any recommendations for a todo list tied into evernote? I have been using ToDoist, but does not tie in.
Started using KustomNote which ties into Evernote, and the new update there working in is supposed to really be good. Ihen about a week told me.
The list to the left I found helpful.
Thank you for this, and all your RUclips information you provide.
Thom
Thom Horton If you don't use tags, I wonder how you keep track of your notes. I have 600+ at this time and it would be difficult to find certain things without them. I save a lot of news and opinion articles, along with a lot of research resources, and I am able to search much easier than trying to move everything into appropriate notebooks, which I do but many items would be appropriate in more than one notebook.
Guess I use notes as you do tags. For the type of work I do, haven't found a need for tags.
I find the list of notes on the screen distracting. I can see where having the list helps you as the presenter, but the flipping back and forth and highlighting adds no value to the presentation from the viewer perspective.
