I played this demo over a year ago, i was hoping this video was an update :( a shame the autor didnt continued on the project, for a nes game it's an impresive job
I wonder how much storage the ROM file size will be, I have a regular Everdrive N8, if it's going to be heavy then I'll have to update for an Everdrive N8 PRO then
Yes you can play it on any emulator or even real NES hardware. Sadly I think the programmer never finished the game after making this awesome demo. I highly doubt the NES carts would of had enough memory to hold all the high quality audio voice samples for every character and backgrounds from all the stages though. Still it's an amazing showcase to show what was technically possible on a NES, even for just a short demo.
Hold on, wasn't there already another Street Fighter 2 NES game out there, made by someone else? I mean, I saw it somewhere. And I don't know, if it is the same game, that is in this video, but I saw one already. Anyway, cool stuff. It is good to know that someone already decided to port Street Fighter 2 to NES. But it is kinda too late. Sure, old school NES are popular now again, but back in the days they were more popular, so it would be cool to have a Street Fighter 2 port for NES back then, than now. Also, the soundtrack in this game, for now at least, is kinda bad. Thus, I think that it needs to sound close to something like this: ruclips.net/video/4eg1uYQhcoM/видео.html
@@uatu_the_watcher I'am not hating on the game itself, but on how it sounds. Cause, it sounds a little off. I mean, it's soundtrack hurt ears. And yes, there is 8 bit games that sounds awsome. For example, Choujin Sentai Jetman, Mighty Final Fight, Battletoads & Double Dragon and so on. So yeah, it can sound good, it just need a little bit of work to be done.
@@deathcold_longplaysua4846 I was told the music was basically pulled from the Gameboy version of SFII. Which I think is pretty impressive for GameBoy though. Sure the music could of been improved but the animations and hit detection of the fighters were about as good as you could do on a NES IMO.

I can't believe how well they made this on the nes .I'm blown away by this.hell yea
Looks very playable. I've never seen SF2 run on 8-Bit this well 😎👍

Wow! Very nice! The sound is especially amazing! This would have really pushed the hardware back then.
Looks very good for a NES port, if only this had came out back then people would have been chuffed paying £40 for this cartridge.
Really impressive. I love that it even uses the real voice samples from the arcade instead of the sped-up SNES ones.
WHAT THE- This is amazing, omg, voices?? in a nes game?? never seen something like that, and its just the demo, lets see how this continues...
I love how it has the iconic "BUH-KERK!" impact sound from Double Dragon 2, even for fireballs.
I wish there was a rom hack for Cobra Triangle...
This looks amazing, compared to the other home brew/ pirated versions for the nes/ famicom.
I literally was about to make the exact same comment. The framerate is so fluid compared to those other versions🎉
Too bad Vega & Balrog aren't in the game but yeah this pretty close too looking like SF 2
Excelente y tremenda calidad de sonido!
Corre en hardware o sólo emulador? Me parece increíble cómo lograron las voces, los colores de los sprites y casi sin parpadeos
Corre hasta en un Family tipo Polystation gracias a un Everdrive oficial
Holy moly if this was ever released in 1991 for NES. I would've never stepped outside the house anymore.
Is mazing this sf2 nes nostalgic edition demo. My respect to this awesome programmers. 🥰
Continúen 🙏

Update: it works I'm impressed it does 8 megs for a regular Everdrive N8 on my NES
@@gordyowl9455a runs on famiclones, i played in my "Powerstation" a cheap NOAC clone
awesome
En esta versión también hay que derrotar a Sheng Long debe ser el jefe oculto...
I am still suprised the first street fighter has not gotten a demake on nes yet.
Yeah the NES would be capable of an arcade perfect version with much better actually useable controls I think
@@overnightdelivery See I think when my little brothers get back will try to work on doing a Street Fighter NES version of the game.
Full version, when?
Wow thats awesome!!! :)
Not bad. Can compete with nes tmnt tournament fighters.

0:10: ...QR codes in an NES game? D:
Usa algun chip extra?¿
Does this even run on NES for real? Looks so advanced it practically feels like a SNES hack with a bunch of 8bit sprites.

This is absolutely incredible. It runs on nes hardware?
You can play this on an Everdrive
Na mesma base do ultimate mortal kombat 3 para gamaboy color
Wow 8-bit is 16-bit!!!!

Hard Game! 🤣🤣🤣
Seguro los 8bits fueron pasa esa pantalla nomás.

Era bueno este proyecto pero quedo ahí
But music, street fighter 3 bootleg music is better
Nice bad.

yes, there are other versions for nes. but this is the one that has the best gameplay, in my opinion
@@hackgameslongplaychannel I knew it. But still, despite best gameplay, this one sounds bad. Like, I don't like the soundtrack.

Too bad the Genesis voice samples sounds like utter garbage compared to this! Sad... I really liked my SFIISCE on the Genesis but this makes me sad 🥴😤
