Hi Freddy! I would suggest buying a vertical shoe stand for the cupboard near the front door. Not only to store your trainers, but leave spare spaces for guests, and then you don’t have to worry about your beautiful cream carpet getting dirty. In Russia, we wear house slippers and keep spares for guests. You can buy bulk white hotel slippers and just wash them after guests have used them.
Just an idea, at least for winter - since you don't need the bottom shelf of bags, put some of those beautiful d&g On the main display and dismantle that last shelf, than you can have your boots with your bags 🤔 I love the wardrobes in the rooms but in your dressing room I would have opted for an L shaped wardrobe and that corner bit could have been storage, a bit like Josie's ex house where there was a bit not fully accessible. Also, consider getting glass doors for the rails if the room gets dusty, my heart is bit anxious for those beautiful white Zimmerman dresses xx
Hey Freddie! If u have problems fitting all your clothes in the drawers try the marine condo method. You will be able to see everything u have and u will be able to put more clothing than just with the traditional folding
I am almost 60 and just turned a spare room into my dressing room. I hav3 my handbags displayed, my antique vanity from grandmother, and a dressy display and longer item in the closet. Everyone is shocked when they come over! I love it, and I love yours! You are in the right road, keep going! Hugs and love from Texas! I can5 wait to see the rest of it!
If you want to get dressed efficiently every day, I would put all the clothes that you need in one place. Having your undies in the bedroom means you will have to open that closet to get them and then head to the walk in to get the rest of your clothes - I see an opportunity to get rid of an extra step. I would personally move the coats to the biggest closet in the walk in (that way you don't have to separate them all AND that closet can be like the fancy/finishing touches/accessories for when you go out), put the spring wardrobe in your room and put the occasion wear with the Christmas decorations since that closet is the "storage" closet. It is impractical to me that the precious prime real estate closest to your bathroom is being used on things you won't wear everyday. This is just my 2 cents but of course its your closet! 😊
Agree 💯 your suggestions are perfect! It would drive me crazy to have everything scattered in 3 separate rooms 🥴 I’m thinking this might all change a bit after living with it for awhile 🙂
That's kind of the thing with the first own space, isn't it? Just months to years of replacing things you thought were great in this particular place, but they aren't, not even a little bit. I've reorganized my kitchen a good ten times by now. Still useless
@@bean2046 True! And every single time I reorganize I feel like I have finally achieve maximum optimization 😂 I'm sure she'll change the space based on her mood and needs for the time and for now I think she's in the mood to dress up in her dressing room which i mean go off sis 👏🏼😍
Tbh, I think fitting another shoe rack somewhere would be a good investment of space and money. Maybe the christmas decoration could be stored somewhere else? Do you have a cellar for once-a-year stuff like that? After all, you are probably going to get more shoes in the future :) your flat looks reeeally nice so far!
someone’s probably already said this but based on your original plan, maybe put the christmas decorations in with the linens and towels and then get a shoe rack for the coat closet so that you don’t have to worry about shoes being mixed in with your clothes. also thank you for your videos! they hold such a special place in my heart as immediately after i started watching i got super inspired and had great success at a fashion blogging internship which came at a time when i super was not having fun with my major or career path. they always brighten my day 🤎
Watching your hands on willingness to do whatever is necessary to get your new home just right is another fabulous layer of who you are!! "Nutcracker" on display year round works for me 🤗
If you store pairs of shoes with the left or right the opposite way, you will fit in 5 pairs per row. It might not look as good for the first row, but perhaps for the back rows.
Just to give you an idea: I would switch the coat cabinet and occasionwear cabinet. So that way your fall/winter clothes would be in the same place. But thats the virgo in me speaking 😂
That's what I was thinking the while time! It would be much more logical as the current coat cupboard is long enough for the dresses, and the current occasion wear cupboard is wide enough for all the coats
I'll be looking for my first non-rented flat (or maybe even a cute little house!) with my boyfriend this fall and I really hope I have that same overwhelming feeling of just knowing I'll live there! We are moving back to our home city from where we went to university at the end of the month and then it's house hunting time! You should try Marie-Kondo folding the silk scarves into cute lil bundles so you can see them all at a glance! They'd fit beautifully in that little shelf partition folded and stood up on edge like that!
This was one of the best videos you have ever made, I LOVE watching videos about organizing things, and because yours are so aesthetically pleasing this was just the best of them. You make me super happy when I'm watching any of your videos! Not only because everything is so beautiful, but because you really radiate light and positivity in every video you make. 🤍
You could put your sneakers and trainers in shoe boxes and then put them in the cupboard you already have them. I think that there are some shoe boxes that fit more than one pair, they are built like the drawer you put your accessories in. Or maybe you can diy a shoe box like that and keep your trainers in there, if you can't find one online
Hello Freddie I would suggest rather than putting both left and right shoes together as pairs, put say the left shoe in the front row and right shoe behind in back row you'll see more of your different styles and you'll also probably fit and extra pair on each row as you won't be matching full pairs next to each other. Would also recommend watching Marie Condo method of folding your lounge wear you'll fit more in drawers and be able to see it all more easily. I love cashmere cardigans and can fit 16 in one drawer folding Marie Condo way! I hope this is helpful to you 🙂x
This was probably the most fun and informative video. I really loved watching you grow the last years and it gives inspiration to girls to make it on their own.
I noticed that you have a narrow wall space next to your window in your walk in wardrobe. I think you should add a hook to the wall and display one of your favorite outfits. Or even better you can use it on a daily basis to preplan your outfit for the next day ☺️
Thank you, Freddy, watching this video made me feel like I could also organize some areas of my life, and it was just nice and relaxing to have your virtual company for a while. Hearts! 💛
If you haven't been, you might want to photograph the process of making your flat a home because it would be a fun book. Not many people in your generation have done that. Inspiration book.
O wow I loved this vid I'm the same I have to split my wardrobe between two rooms as too many clothes and I like you love love winter coats and over the knee boots x
I would love to see a video of Freddy showing her activewear and jeans. I would love to see a home workout video or something very unique more sides of Freddy that she doesn’t always give us a glimpse of. Love watching all your videos your flat looks gorgeous. I’ve just moved out into my first apartment four months ago and you’re giving me so many ideas for how I want to style my kitchen and living room!
Dear Freddy, since you asked for suggestions... It's not a great idea to put regularly worn shoes with clothes. They need to be impeccably clean and smell fragrant and amazing, which is hard for regular shoes. So you should buy a new shoe rack that will fit quite a bit of your shoes. But if you simply must use the hanging area, handbags may go more hygienic with clothes. That's just me personally. Doesn't mean my shoes are dirty and unkempt. I just always keep them separately that's all.
Oh yes, especially once u start to wear them and maybe you get rain or a tiny bit of mud it would destroy the white dresses. I would personally just use that bottom two bags racks.. I think bags and shoes can go together and personally I would hate having to pull my over the knee boots from behind my dresses, especially with how much she wears them.... For the moment my Stewart weitzmans live in their boxes under the bed cuz I ain't got no boots storage 🤣
I have to second this. Humans have smells and that's normal, they will definitely give clothes a smell after time. I think putting most of the shoes near the entryway is most convenient, maybe some occasion shoes in the wardrobe would be ok if they are opened toed. And ones you rarely use could be boxed and put under the bed. We've got a wardrobe in our office which is super random and I put some coats in clothing bags, winter shoes , Christmas decorations, and luggage there. Sounds odd, but kind of goes together.
I was really curious as well! 🤔 Is it common to keep shoes with clothes over there? Or do you guys clean them thoroughly before storing them in the cupboard? Over here in Asia, our shoes are usually stored in shoe racks near to the main door of the house. Thought that it’s more convenient and hygienic! (really practical reasons haha) But still loving the whole aesthetic of the house! 🥰
I loved watching this, so relaxing and your wardrobe is to die for! Is it odd to ask for a loungewear/pyjama video? Looking for some quality PJs that look elegant and will last ages 💕
Freddy! You should be folding your tops and sweaters vertically a la Kon Mari, that way when you open your drawers you can see them all and enjoy them. And when you take one out, you dont have to touch the other ones.
Love the video. Fold the more wintery coats and put them in the back of the empty shelves or put the shoes there, and if you don't want to see it, make a small screen / nice big picture and place it in front of the items so it can be a nice background of whatever display items you do want to see. Or use a nice container.
If I can suggest something out of experience, please, put some door on your open wardrobe, maybe glass ones...without doors, you have no idea how much dust accumulates on the clothes and coats even if you clean daily: we had one in my room when I was a teen and lasted only a few months: every time I needed an outfit, it was full of dust (that you couldn't spot immediately since the closet itself was clean) and that considering my mum is a "neat freak" that cleans the whole house every single day. She told me she knew this would have happened but since I was so invested in the idea of an open wardrobe, I wouldn't have believed her until I saw it myself (she was right XD )
I know it’s not the most aesthetically pleasing, but I’ve found that facing one shoe to the front and one towards the back will save you a TON of room. They kind of slot into each other that way and just saves so much room. I’ve had to get creative in my small apartment and that’s the best way I’ve found!
Every video is giving my such Blaire Waldorf Vibes💓💓i love it💖 Thank you very much Freddy for putting so much love into every video. I am watching you since I was 12 years old (I am 15 know) and I will forever and always follow you. Lots of love from Germany Johanna🤍

Ooooohhh, this is the video I've been looking forward to the MOST now that the flat is getting actually ready! I'm 8 minutes in and it's such a treat - AND you uploaded it on my birthday! 💕
Great job! I love an aesthetic organization... beauty and function at its best! 😍🥰😍 However, as you live there you may discover a few tweaks will improve the function. But until you actually live there and get to know the space and how you use it, finding a place for everything and putting things away is just the first step. I’m just sorry your Christmas decor is taking up valuable real estate space in an everyday clothing cabinet. Perhaps you’ll be able to find a fabulous armoire, linen press, china cabinet or other antique piece of storage cabinetry you can put in your living/dining room. Something with an Art Deco vibe would be amazing in there! It could house your seasonal home decor and leave your clothing wardrobes for your clothing items! 😉☺️😊 I tend to shop for furniture pieces that have great storage... whether some of it be behind glass and “on display” or closed storage for all the random things we need in life but don’t want on show. A girl can never have too much storage space! 😁 You have plenty of time to make all sorts of decisions and acquisitions once you get truly acquainted with your space! Enjoy the process and congratulations again on your beautiful home! You are doing such a fabulous job! 😍🥰😍
I always liked you but my respect for you since you got the flat and we are seeing all the love and work you are putting into it just keeps growing and growing. You are such an amazing influence to young ladies and I hope more people were as hard working and as nice as you Freddy. Well done 👍
You did such a great job and it was so satisfying watching you do it. Thank you for even filming unscrewing the shelf, it’s those little details that make me feel like I’m really along for the ride with you. I’ve had a separate dressing room since my early 20’s but now I’m 45 and I just got my first proper built in dressing room and it is heaven! I had so much fun, like you, setting it all up with all my pretty white and pastel things for summer. Now I’m looking forward to switching it up for fall with all my black and jewel toned clothes and accessories. Have so much fun with it!
I don’t remember if your head board from your old room was attached to the wall or not but if it is, you can just get a bed frame with extra storage and keep the head board :); nvm I checked, your bed has storage space lol
To make sure what you've just done works realistically and for the long run, do some trial runs getting fully dressed, underwear to accessories, and time it. You want the easiest and fastest path possible. Having to run around unnecessarily will tire you, quickly.
Freddy, I'm quite impressed with your ability to manage such an amount of objects and order them so nicely and with such care. I love style, I love your videos , thanks for your work and for sharing it with your followers
Scented stones may be better for the drawers instead of soap? In my experience soap goes bad overtime and ruins the clothes it was sitting on, even the wrapping paper goes sticky
Why don't you swap over the occasion wear and autumn wardrobes, that way you have that extra bit of length to stop the longer stuff puddling on the shelf (that would really bug me) 😂🙈
Freddy, where do you get all of your lovely silk pajamas? They look so comfy and luxurious but I always have trouble finding ones that aren't tacky looking!
Sorry for not saying this genius idea earlier, but I would’ve had the bedroom as a walk-in wardrobe / studio, which is so convenient because you take shower then get dressed in the same spot. Also, you can have all your clothes, shoes and bags in one room. In addition to, it’s easier to film in ur walk in wardrobe since u have all ur clothes around u... Lastly, ur studio would make a good bedroom because all you need is a bed 🛌 and bedsides. That’s just me, YOU DO YOU. Xx
I meeeean, if worse came to worst in terms of storage, you could always put a very pretty armoire in the lounge. I think that would be a nice place to hang guests' jackets, as well.
Maybe switch the occasion wear and long dresses with your coats? They take up less space and then you could have all your coats and jackets together! X
Your wardrobe is such a dream!! And I love your clearout/organisation videos 💗💗💗 i could watch these all day, maybe a 2 hour compilation would be amazing 😅💗
Your key guardian in the hallway is a perfect color, not too Christmasy...he's found his post! ;) Congratulations on this accomplishment of getting your personal things into their new home. It all looks beautiful, and I hope you have many years of happiness in your new nest!
Not sure where the sun rises or sets in relation the the window in your dressing room, but make sure it won’t cause your handbags on display to fade. This happened to me once and it was so sad!
I've been waiting so long for this video!!! I think maybe you could fit a shoe rack in the Christmas decoration cupboard and put yhe boxes elsewhere, so you canfit your trainers and some short boots there
There's always the option to put another shelve over the christmas decoration to store the shoes better! this way you also won't need to move the shoes to access the decor
Definitely storing the Christmas items elsewhere and fitting two shoe racks in there instead seems like a better idea. Or move the handbags into the closet where you stuck the shoes under your shirts because bags are cleaner than shoes, and put your shoes on that display shelving space.

You have plenty of time to make all sorts of decisions and acquisitions once you get truly acquainted with your space! Enjoy the process and congratulations again on your beautiful home! You are doing such a fabulous job! 😍🥰😍
You should use the shelf you took out in the other cupboard with the christmas decor do the shoes can sit at the same height
Maybe you could add an extra shelf where the Xmas decorations are, that wadrobe seeks to have a lot of space you could make use of
I always liked you but my respect for you since you got the flat and we are seeing all the love and work you are putting into it just keeps growing and growing.
Maybe you could put another shelf over the christmas decorations and put your trainers on the shelf.
Yes I was thinking this too!!
@@FreddyMyLove But not a shelf, an actual ikea shoe rack. That way theyre not all tucked into random places!
It looks stunningggg😍
Freddy has the best fashion content. Love this! 🥰❤️✨
I just love organization videos
It all looks lovely and I’m happy and excited for you! Enjoy your wonderful new home.
Scented stones may be better for the drawers instead of soap? In my experience soap goes bad overtime and ruins the clothes it was sitting on, even the wrapping paper goes sticky
Omg i love the tweed jacket and skirt where did you get it!!!
Why don't you swap over the occasion wear and autumn wardrobes, that way you have that extra bit of length to stop the longer stuff puddling on the shelf (that would really bug me) 😂🙈
I guess they're the same length 🤷
@@thdorentina she said JJ and her dad put a 3 draw and a 4 draw set of draws together, I think the 4s in the occasion side
@@reannehawkins3111 ahhh
I'm so sad to see you leave your old closet I fell in love with it. Hope your able to do the same in your new place xx
I think this is what we were all most excited for! 😍💕
Xx
The studio is meant to double as a guest room when Coco visits so that wouldn’t work if the guest room has the en suite
@@NannyDiaries23
I forgot to also mention the current walk in wardrobe could be gust room with single bed and little gust storage. Xx
the shot of you opening the wardrobe was so glamourous
I have been waiting for this for so longggg..😅 Finallyyy😍😍
Your devotion to getting everything just so before you actually move-in is fascinating to follow! Cannot wait for THE BIG DAY!!!
Freddy's face after she put the first lot of coats in is such a mood😂
Fantastic walk in wardrobe video , Freddy.
I meeeean, if worse came to worst in terms of storage, you could always put a very pretty armoire in the lounge. I think that would be a nice place to hang guests' jackets, as well.
The best and most tasteful suggestion in all of the comments
Use marie kondo method for drawers.. then you can have much more space... 😊
I am curious.
I cant imagine all those beautiful things being "tossed in the laundry hamper", so to say.
Do you have everything professionaly cleaned.
Yay so exicited like every time for Freddys video. Her voice is soo calm and amazing, its like asmr for ears🌼💗💗💗
30 minutes of freddy! A dream! 💓💓🤍
I HAVE BEEN WAITING ALL WEEK FOR THIS💃❤
regarding shoes, if you place a pair so one shoe is forward and the other is backward it saves a bit of space
30mins of Freddy and I'm here for it!
Trying everything in your closet
I'm am so in love with your apartment and your dressing room is a dream! Can't wait to see it all finished
Not sure where the sun rises or sets in relation the the window in your dressing room, but make sure it won’t cause your handbags on display to fade. This happened to me once and it was so sad!
Love this video! You could store your trainers on one of the shelves above your boots
I've been waiting so long for this video!!! I think maybe you could fit a shoe rack in the Christmas decoration cupboard and put yhe boxes elsewhere, so you canfit your trainers and some short boots there
Skipped the gym so I could come straight home from work to watch this
Beautiful ! perfect by..cleaning organized office desk old papers, documents mails - sorting, ripping, crumbling...Can You make that clip?
Where’s the shoe drawer from? Plz can you link some of the furniture
I thought you would use those shelves at the back of the wardrobe for all your out of season shoes. Lol. The boots work well there.
These are my favorite types of videos! Thanks for this
