Yes. Best vocalist on the planet. No doubt about! 20 years of classical vocal training & daily practice sit behind this God Given talent. The Pianist is a brilliant songwriter. He and the original lead singer of this same Kazakh band: A-Studio, wrote this song back in 1998. Dimash puts his own stamp on it, but at the same time, unexpected by the band on the night, he also threw in that melisma / trill section. This was a traditional Kazakh piece used to honour those passed. Dimash did this as a mark of respect to the original singer; Batyrkhan Shukenov whom he admired greatly and who died in 2015. Dimash, who's followers now number in the 100's of millions, doesn't have a shred of 'star ego'. He is always respectful of those around him, working with and for him. He deserves ALL the flowers! But rather than let these rot in piles in hotel rooms, he distributes these to local children's hospitals and aged care facilities where ever he is performing, and encourages his fans to donate to charities instead. I think part of the reason people aren't touched by him emotionally is that his songs are sung in many different languages, which takes away from their understanding of what he is saying. The words and back stories, especially of his more ethnic songs, are very important parts of the meaning and depth of his performances.

Dimash is beyond the beyond. Regardless what kind of music you prefer....a little higher culture couldn't hurt btw,....but you cannot deny this young man's incredible talent. He's not just a singer....he's an ambassador to humanity from a higher place. His delivery is unparalleled. So many qualities he brings. Welcome back to Dimash. Dimash does so many genres. He is never put into a box. For example, do Stranger, complete production, performed in English. Do Be With Me MV, MJ vibe, sung in English but with Kazakh rap and yes from Dimash. Ogni Pietra Arnau, sung in Italian, operatic but the a hard core drum going on in the back. Kieli Meken and Durdaraz, more rock but in Kazakh. Please continue to do more Dimash. Oh and Ikaniade, sung in Japanese from a studio due to covid restrictions for the Toyko Jazz Festival. Just Dimash, singing perhaps one of the most beautiful songs you will ever hear and it is very dang emotional. All of these have subtitles, even the ones that are already in English.

I'd definitely recommend Olympico from the channel of Igor Krutoy, the composer of the song, this will also show the effort that goes into making a Dimash concert into something spectacular. The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. I loved your reaction to Dimash. It caused me to subscribe to your channel. You appreciate his music. I did want you to notice that when he sings he directs himself with his hands and his whole body is used in his singing. He's 6'3 so he's a tall guy to use his entire body. If you notice when they showed the audience first starting to rise the man that was standing there I believe that is Igor Krutoy, a famous Ukrainian composer who came out of retirement to compose for Dimash.
This is pop-opera. He sings classical, pop, folk, opera, pop-opera, world music, and rap. You mentioned Michael Jackson! He is Dimash's favorite artist. He has been watching MJ since he was very small. He has MJ dance moves, i think it's natural to him since he grew up watching the vids, aaaand he can moonwalk. I think his favorite song is "Earth Song". He has covered it a few times. Oh, and he even listens to Eminem. 😄

Sinful Passion is a great example for beginners to show what Dimash is capable of, but it's almost nothing compared with all he's shown he can do... just mind blowing. I have to say that Dimash calls himself a Crossover singer, as he mixes different music and vocal styles in the same song, and also languages (for the moment he's sang in 13 different languages). Glad to see you guys getting back to Dimash! In every song, as ludicrous as it sounds to say, you really only see a fraction of the tricks in Dimash's bag. Every performance is different and unveils some new things you didn't know he could do. This "Sinful Passion" performance was from a few years ago so, for a next Dimash, y'all should check out what he's up to lately. He had a recent song called "Stranger" that is next-level stuff. The only problem with it is that most reactors have had to make the video semi-transparent or put text over it to get past copyright blocks (which has worked for them all) BUT I gotta tell you, it's worth it. That performance will blow your mind and I'd love to see you react to it, even if you have to dim the video a bit or whatever. Plus it features a REALLY cool traditional Kazakh instrument called a kobyz that is super dope. Another one (with fewer potential problems, I believe) that might be right up Hollywood's operatic alley and which will convince both of you that Dimash is an alien is his performance of "Olimpico." It was written specifically for Dimash by the famous Russian composer Igor Krutoy who came out of retirement just to write for Dimash's voice. It was written for Dimash to sing at the opening ceremony of the Second European Games and features Dimash as Zeus telling the athletes to go out and be their best. Because of that, it also doubles as a great motivational song for anyone who needs a little dose of strength and a pep talk for their day. The song you heard today, he sang in Russian. In "Olimpico," he sings in Italian. And "Stranger" is in English. The CC for "Olimpico" is in Italian as well but the auto-translate to English actually gets pretty close so, for the full effect, it's worth turning on. Otherwise, just vibe with the strength of the music and vocals. Either way, it's awesome. If you want more from Dimash in English, some really great ones would be his cover of Lionel Richie's "Hello" from the Chinese show "Singer." He starts out pretty straight with it but then takes a hard left turn and just transcends to another level. His performance of "Adagio" from the same show is a great example of an artist leaving it all on the stage. And his video for "Across Endless Dimensions" - a song he did for the soundtrack of an Italian sci-fi movie - is pretty dope too and, I promise you, your soul will leave your body at at least one point during the song. And, if you don't care about English and just want to hear Dimash vocalizing a song that was written to be unsingable by a human voice, check out his performance of "Diva Dance." It's the song the blue alien sang in the movie "The Fifth Element" and, like I said, they wrote it to be unsingable (so it would sound alien). They had to synthesize part of the song for the movie. Dimash not only NAILS it live, he does it at the end of a 3+ hour show. The competition in China was not The Voice-style, it was called "I am a Singer" and the competitors were established professional singers. There is no jury, the audience is the one who votes during every episode, and based on the ranking that results from that, each episode someone leaves the competition. Everyone on the show performs live, competitors, show band, backing vocalists. Dimash was invited to participate as the only foreigner. He was also the youngest in the competition, 22 years old, in 2017.

Dimash is a Ph.D music student and a Jack of al trades, Master of all, yes, he can rap too. His teachers said that he works harder than anyone one they know. My theory is that Dimash was born with a huge amount of talent but he works as if he has none. His work ethic makes us believe he is no human. React to Stranger or Ave Maria.

For those who like information about Dimas' songs: The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental technique. The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio (Russian-based Kazakhstani pop music group, "Alma-Ata Studio", city of Almaty). The dead singer (to whom Dimash was a fan) left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. Yes. Best vocalist on the planet. No doubt about! 20 years of classical vocal training & daily practice sit behind this God Given talent. The Pianist is a brilliant songwriter. He and the original lead singer of this same Kazakh band: A-Studio, wrote this song back in 1998. Dimash puts his own stamp on it, but at the same time, unexpected by the band on the night, he also threw in that melisma / trill section. This was a traditional Kazakh piece used to honour those passed. Dimash did this as a mark of respect to the original singer; Batyrkhan Shukenov whom he admired greatly and who died in 2015. Dimash, who's followers now number in the 100's of millions, doesn't have a shred of 'star ego'. He is always respectful of those around him, working with and for him. He deserves ALL the flowers! But rather than let these rot in piles in hotel rooms, he distributes these to local children's hospitals and aged care facilities where ever he is performing, and encourages his fans to donate to charities instead. Great role model huh!?!

Dimash Qudaibergen was born on May 24, 1994, in Aktobe, Kazakhstan into musical royalty. Height: 1.91m; 6' 3'. Grandfather played professional dombra, grandmother was a teacher and sings.

According to Kazakh tradition, he was raised by his grandparents (Mama and Papa) and for a long time he kept his parents as his brother ans sister in law. They all live together in one house.

Dimash is independent and has full artistic control over himself. He founded his own company named Dimash Ali.
In 2017, Dimash surprised everyone in China. He opened the eyes of his critical compatriots. Today Dimash is a 'cultural ambassador' for his country and a 'national treasure' (not an official title). He himself is a proud Kazakh and patriot.
Dimash plays at least 7 instruments, traditional dombra is a must in his family. He speaks Kazakh (mother tongue) and Russian without accent (second language in Kazakhstan), is learning English and Mandarin. He says dancing and Mandarin are difficult for him. So far, he sings in 13 languages, trains his voice for 3 hours every day... but Dimash said: "You don't need to know how hard I've worked, you just need to enjoy the results".
Experts consider Dimash to be a lyrical baritone with a typically long range. Dimash says of himself that he is a tenor. Some believe that he does not sing his high notes as a countertenor but as a natural soprano. He is the first singer to sing all 5 voices: bass, baritone, tenor, contralto, soprano.

I think part of the reason people aren't touched by him emotionally is that his songs are sung in many different languages, which takes away from their understanding of what he is saying. The words and back stories, especially of his more ethnic songs, are very important parts of the meaning and depth of his performances.

Welcome back to Dimash. Dimash does so many genres. He is never put into a box. For example, do Stranger, complete production, performed in English. Do Be With Me MV, MJ vibe, sung in English but with Kazakh rap and yes from Dimash. Ogni Pietra Arnau, sung in Italian, operatic but the a hard core drum going on in the back. Kieli Meken and Durdaraz, more rock but in Kazakh. Please continue to do more Dimash. Oh and Ikaniade, sung in Japanese from a studio due to covid restrictions for the Toyko Jazz Festival. Just Dimash, singing perhaps one of the most beautiful songs you will ever hear and it is very dang emotional. All of these have subtitles, even the ones that are already in English.

The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I did want you to notice that when he sings he directs himself with his hands and his whole body is used in his singing. He's 6'3 so he's a tall guy to use his entire body. If you notice when they showed the audience first starting to rise the man that was standing there I believe that is Igor Krutoy, a famous Ukrainian composer who came out of retirement to compose for Dimash.

He has been recorded hitting a low note of A1 and a high note of D8. That is a range of 6 Octaves and 5 Semitones and, if that’s not enough, to date he has sung in 12 different languages.

Stranger (2021) is a perfect example of what he can do with his voice, and of his incredible stage presence. And there are so many other masterpieces in his repertoire. He is an immense artist.

Glad to see you guys getting back to Dimash! In every song, as ludicrous as it sounds to say, you really only see a fraction of the tricks in Dimash's bag. Every performance is different and unveils some new things you didn't know he could do. This "Sinful Passion" performance was from a few years ago so, for a next Dimash, y'all should check out what he's up to lately. He had a recent song called "Stranger" that is next-level stuff. The only problem with it is that most reactors have had to make the video semi-transparent or put text over it to get past copyright blocks (which has worked for them all) BUT I gotta tell you, it's worth it. That performance will blow your mind and I'd love to see you react to it, even if you have to dim the video a bit or whatever. Plus it features a REALLY cool traditional Kazakh instrument called a kobyz that is super dope.
Another one (with fewer potential problems, I believe) that might be right up Hollywood's operatic alley and which will convince both of you that Dimash is an alien is his performance of "Olimpico." It was written specifically for Dimash by the famous Russian composer Igor Krutoy who came out of retirement just to write for Dimash's voice. It was written for Dimash to sing at the opening ceremony of the Second European Games and features Dimash as Zeus telling the athletes to go out and be their best. Because of that, it also doubles as a great motivational song for anyone who needs a little dose of strength and a pep talk for their day. The first song you heard from Dimash, he was singing in French. The song you heard today, he sang in Russian. In "Olimpico," he sings in Italian. And "Stranger" is in English. The CC for "Olimpico" is in Italian as well but the auto-translate to English actually gets pretty close so, for the full effect, it's worth turning on. Otherwise, just vibe with the strength of the music and vocals. Either way, it's awesome.
If you want more from Dimash in English, some really great ones would be his cover of Lionel Richie's "Hello" from the Chinese show "Singer." He starts out pretty straight with it but then takes a hard left turn and just transcends to another level. His performance of "Adagio" from the same show is a great example of an artist leaving it all on the stage. And his video for "Across Endless Dimensions" - a song he did for the soundtrack of an Italian sci-fi movie - is pretty dope too and, I promise you, your soul will leave your body at at least one point during the song.
And, if you don't care about English and just want to hear Dimash vocalizing a song that was written to be unsingable by a human voice, check out his performance of "Diva Dance." It's the song the blue alien sang in the movie "The Fifth Element" and, like I said, they wrote it to be unsingable (so it would sound alien). They had to synthesize part of the song for the movie. Dimash not only NAILS it live, he does it at the end of a 3+ hour show. Keyboard man with the long hair is the composer of this beautiful melody. About the flowers, it`s an eastern european way of expressing appreciation for an artist :) Dimash gets heaps of flowers :)) And he sends them forward to nursing homes etc. Also, you were right about him being born to sing - in an interview he was asked when he knew he wanted to sing, and he answered "When does a child form his first memories ? 1-2 years old ? Since then." And he also said that after 22 years spent in musical schools, including university, if you were to open his heart, his brain, his chest, you would find music.
He started vocal+piano school at age 5 age 20, in Contemporary (Jazz, Pop)>age 24, got a Master`s Degree in Composition in 2020, and started his doctoral studies in musicology.

Everything he sings is pretty gorgeous. And everything he sings is clean, all the lyrics, leaving aside the fact that most are poetical, or have a profound meaning. It`s a breath of fresh air. Even his one "bad boy rap" section in a song, is benign and done just for fun :) And his more rock song, is based on a kazakh folk song about a beautiful girl :)
P.S. The competition in China was not The Voice-style, it was called "I am a Singer" and the competitors were established professional singers. There is no jury, the audience is the one who votes during every episode, and based on the ranking that results from that, each episode someone leaves the competition. Everyone on the show performs live, competitors, show band, backing vocalists. Dimash was invited to participate as the only foreigner. He was also the youngest in the competition, 22 years old, in 2017.

Dimash is a Ph.D music student and a Jack of al trades, Master of all, yes, he can rap too. His teachers said that he works harder than anyone one they know. My theory is that Dimash was born with a huge amount of talent but he works as if he has none. His work ethic makes us believe he is no human. React to Stranger or Ave Maria.

Hello, I’m from Brazil! For those who like information about Dimas' songs: The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental technique. The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio (Russian-based Kazakhstani pop music group, "Alma-Ata Studio", city of Almaty). The dead singer (to whom Dimash was a fan) left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov.
