It's been a weird few years for me...musically. First I fell in love with Billy Strings...a bluegrass/country guy...not really my cup of tea...but I became obsessed. Next, I found Ren, Hi Ren...and I was SO MOVED! I probably cried 30 times watching Hi Ren ...then, before I was done being obsessed with Ren...BAM! Dimash got me! The "ooo oo oo ooo" at the beginning of Hi Ren was almost like foreshadowing of Dimash. Now, Billy Strings, Ren, and Dimash are weirdly linked in my mind. Dimash is awesome he can reach a D8 witch is out of a regular piano the last note plus one so from B2 on lows to D8 of the piano. Opera singners are floord by his range. Go watch the Diva Dance live in Bastaw (the alien song in the 5th element movie with Bruce Willis) cause Dimash sings it and it was suppose to be unsingable for a human being !

Dimash started singing at the age of 5 when his grandmother was told that he had perfect pitch . Dimash has been studying music all his life. As of now he has a 7 octave range or very close to it. He was born on May 24 1994 he is 29 as of now. Also he is 6’3” he doesn’t look that tall but he is. Also single as for as we know Dimash is VERY PRIVATE about his private life.

Dimash has 7+ Octaves this song is from a pop opera Canadian I believe from 1978 or so. That’s why it is French.there is a history about the person who used to sing this song, having health problems that shortened his life, & after he passed away Dimash kept the song alive in honor of the young man that passed away. I always return to Dimash’s version after checking out the others. Dimash’s quality of tone in all the registers is unmatched, imho. Plus, the unique timbre of his voice.

That was so much fun to watch. G Colo couldn't sit still and once that surprise smile hit him it stayed there for the whole song. My grandson (a hip-hop dancer) had the exact same reaction. I've been on the planet a while now and I honestly can't think of another musician who so absolutely appealed to every generation at the same time while being so young themselves. My mother is 95 and was floored when I shared Damash with her.

SOS is not originally Dimash’s song, but he has made it his own. The song pre-dates Dimash’s birth and is originally French Canadian. Dimash is from Kazakhstan and he does compose beautifully as well, but chooses to perform mostly meaningful music (side note: not sure how meaningful Be With Me or Power Rangers theme song are, but they are fun performances from Dimash!). It's been a weird few years for me...musically.
First I fell in love with Billy Strings...a bluegrass/country guy...not really my cup of tea...but I became obsessed.
Next, I found Ren, Hi Ren...and I was SO MOVED!
I probably cried 30 times watching Hi Ren ...then, before I was done being obsessed with Ren...BAM! Dimash got me!
The "ooo oo oo ooo" at the beginning of Hi Ren was almost like foreshadowing of Dimash.
Now, Billy Strings, Ren, and Dimash are weirdly linked in my mind.
