I wish I had these glowup tips in my 20s..😭 I recently turned 30 and sometimes I feel "late" doing these things but better late (now) than never! I feel like I wasted my 20s being obsessed with what others have and worried about what other ppl may think but never focusing enough on myself. I constantly felt tired "socializing" and I only recently realized that I wasn't spending time with the right people. I met genuine, nice people where I don't have to "pretend" to be a certain way for them to like me. In the past, it felt like I was putting on a certain "mask" depending on which group of people I'm with and it started confusing myself about who I really am. Also, huge emphasis on processing your emotions. Do it, people. It helps build emotional resilience and that's important and potentially life-saving because life will give you a lot of shit & challenges. Anyway, Via, thank you for the glowup tips. So many take home messages. I'm sure your video will help a lot of people!❤❤
Oh no, you’re 30 that’s basically dead, you’ll never have a nice life now-you should just give up because you’re only allowed to be happy between 17 and 25 😂😂😂 What the fuck are y’all onnnnnnnn Girl stop feeling ashamed for existing and go live your life!
weird, but I just found your videos because youtube recommended them to me and it's really the first time I feel REPRESENTED with something, the way you describe how you feel and etc etc, really makes me feel safe, tysm Via
OMG you actually did it. That's crazyyyy. When Via says she's gonna be a consistent poster, she's gonna be a consistent poster. She will grind that shi out. We love you! MUAH ❤Alright now time to watch this video. Got pen and paper ready lol
I came here from one video, and everything I've seen since then has just hit so close to home. One thing after another, I don't know how she always has the things I need. I've been questioning how to actually fix things, and I love that this is so authentic. Not some random manifestation crap or superficial advice-- just real experience. Finally. You really impact a lot of people, Via, and thanks for that
i started my youtube 2 months ago as a way to escape a job and degree i hated. i soon became obsessed with the numbers and was constantly comparing myself to people that i looked up to. social media became a game that i just had to win. it was horrible and i had to remove myself from the social media "mindset" (dopamine detoxing) so that i wouldn't burn out. this video is so incredibly important. knowing to put yourself first is everything. love this.
Hey Via! Im turning 15 this year lol (god i cant belive it, time literarlly flies!).. Im so glad that ive found your channel, it has really helped me ALOT! Ive struggled as a child and even now I sometimes struggle but im in a better headspace then I used to be in! Thank you so much girl for posting the content that you do ❤, it has probably helped alot more people then you think, including me. Im so glad to see that there ARE also other people who've struggled and made it throught, it really gives me a good reminder that im not alone and at the end of the day I should spread kindness, not "niceness" and that i should be mature. My comment might not make sense right now 😅 and its only cause im abit dizzy but I hope its not too confusing! Sending lots of love to you Via ❤ and to everyone else
@@turquesa411 Yes! Ive always been a "nice" person ! Not kind. Ive always been the people pleaser always giving, expecting and getting dissapointed but still stayed. I give now, I dont expect when spreading kindness but I dont stay if im not treated right ❤️
I love that you say be who you're and that will attract the person that you exactly enjoy to be with. in highschool I pretend to be someone else to fit in that group of friend and looking back, I never once felt happy. I really just wanted to be accepted. but now all of my friends circle are the exactly person that I'm comfortable to be with. I can say my opinion loudly without being judged for thinking indifferent view. thank you for reminding this to me, via. I'm glad to watched this video and able to actually see how much I've grew up from that.
I will start off by saying that women can dress however they want to, no one has a right to say what you can and cannot wear. For me, I love being modest. I’m autistic and I’m religious, so really harsh weathers used to annoy my skin and overstimulate me a lot. In the summer I wore only long skirts and long dresses, and in the winter I would wear jeans and pants. I got made fun of by my peers and my abusive family for my clothing choices. I even wore some boys’ swim trunks with my swimsuit in 8th grade because I felt uncomfortable, and yet people still laughed at me. Once you remove those toxic people from your life, it’ll only go up from here 🤍🤍🤍 Thank you for this needed video, Via! We’re so proud of your growth!
I'm a guy so not exactly the intended audience for this video, but a lot of these points resonated with me, especially tip 15 and 16. I'm autistic and grew up undiagnosed, due to family shit I had a crippling fear of being alone growing up and let "friends" walk all over me because I wouldn't admit to myself I was being disrespected and didn't think anyone else would "take me". I'm much better on the friendship front rn and I hang out with nice people who understand me or at least are empathetic towards what I go through. I have a lot of work to do but this video opened a lot of reflection for myself, thank you for sharing 💕
I dont' know what else to say, so thank you. This is what I mean by glow up. I was tired of "useless" advices about drinking water and eating healthy food. These things surely help, but not in long terms. Because once you improve yourself physically, but not mentally, you won't be able to take care of your body at some point. You know, you feel drained. I've been in therapy for years, and honestly I forgot some things that you've mentioned on the way. This video is extremely helpful.
I like how you focus on the taking care of yourself and really loving, accepting yourself for who you are aspects of glowing up. I think this is the true definition of glowing up
ik there are some people that text you paragraphs about how the video impacted them and oh god i agree, but i just have to say, in each of your videos, im always atleast like 5 times during it "wow omg her hair". Your hair is so beautiful queen, i love your hair sm
I've been watching your videos for since October and they've helped a ton with learning to accept myself and better myself. I've felt really alone too in never having been in a relationship/not having close friends and let it define me and hold me back for so long. And having seen how much you've grown since your earliest videos, it gives me hope to push myself out of my comfort zone and go do grand, challenging things. Love you Via ❤
I am not used to posting comments, but this time I will defy fear to speak. I would like to thank you for this valuable advice. Since following you, I gradually start to see life differently, I admire the little details much more when I go out. Thanks to you, I learned that I was not defined by others but by myself. I was reluctant to cut ties with a friend who no longer considered me. Who allowed herself to forget me to put his friends ahead, to ignore my messages, not to take my news... But now I know that for my own happiness, I have to do it. My physique is not inevitable and I can change it by having the financial means. These bad waves can disappear to give way to beautiful melodies. My depression is not what defines me. On the contrary, I now know that I have to fight this bad thing to fulfill my dreams. If I want to evolve, I have to move. Thanks to you, I will motivate myself every day to live a little better this life. I will go out to appreciate the sky (even gray), register at the gym, love myself fully, choose the right people and especially work on myself. Never stop being yourself. Keep being that inspiration for me, for us watching your videos. Thank you for this wonderful content. 💖 love from france
A lot of these tips I've been wanting to implement for years but struggled. Watching this list is helping reinforce and reaffirm the things I want for myself. I think my struggle is reminding myself that yes, I can become the person I want to be. I think I'll try watching this video once a week to try to stay inspired.
Girl I am on a self care and self improvement journey and wow all the things you’re saying is SO in my energy. This video is officially my anthem for my self care journey.

one of the first "glow up" videos ive seen that actually explains psychologically backed ways to improve your life in a digestable and entertaining way :) rlly needed this, great work!
This video is my safe place... always thought about these things but hearing you making a list and putting your perspective through it makes my soul rest. THANK YOU... The best glow up is a mental Glow Up everything else comes naturally
I felt really called out when you talked about friendships and being able to do things alone… it honestly made me think about my friends and how I’m always the one asking to hang out or planning things, I love them but sometimes it weights on me and I feel unworthy of receiving the same attention I give…soo thank you for posting this! See you do things for yourself def inspires me to do the same 🫂
I just recently upgraded my entire life I feel truly that 23 is a great age for us women.. we all change and grow and I’m glad I found this video right now bc I have had this new job for the past couple of months of what I thought was my dream job I’m finally in my role and can create my own routine and now the management is not allowing me to be myself… like I thought they would.. this video is inspiring because they do look down on me and just see me as a 23 year old even tho they say they don’t… I’m allowed to have my emotions and let go of their ideas of me and just do me and I need to speak up for myself and not cry until I have a meeting. I usually have a good backbone but sometimes in professional settings it’s kind of hard to be like an adult without children which IS CRAZY. Anyways, I’m glad you make this and thank you for allowing me to see I’m not the only one going through this shit at 23… I turn 24 this month and 23 has been weird…
This was such an important video to make, thank you for that. I related to a lot of the situations you described and it was really helpful to hear not just tips on how to improve, but the fact that another human being experiences the same thing too. Thank you for sharing :)
I just came across this channel randomly and I absolutely love the way she motivates me. It made me think a lot of stuff through and I love how frank she is like she is Honest af! I gained so much confidence from 1 video itself
When I look at Via, it makes me wanna be like her. She shines even brighter when she does things that she likes and I just wanna be able to do it too... Thank you Via ❤
my biggest piece of advice: PATIENCE. over the past 5 years my entire life has changed for the better, but it's been slow, hard work. i'm still in the middle of it, im not where i want to be yet. i've spent years beating myself up for not moving fast enough, improving fast enough, feeling better fast enough. my main point of growth has always been my mental health, and beating myself up only ever slowed me down. i'm still working on having patience, but for how cheesy it is- patience really IS a virtue. you need to take it slow and be kind to yourself. you are a flower, if you overwater it and bombard it with sun and heat and soil, you will crush it. give it time and you will see
Eventhough I knew many points of this video, it really helped me reassure my opinions. First video of you that I see instant subscription ♥️ you’re amazing 🥰
Love this! I honestly agree to everything that Via says. It really does start with your inner self. Love yourself first and value yourself. Then you will do this self-care stuff because you know you're worth it. Truly life can be both bitter and sweet. But that's okay! That's just life. Still how your attitude towards things matters. You can be happy, when you choose to be happy.
I've recently fallen off the personal development wagon, just weighed down by the weight of expectation, pressures of living and my own deep seeded traumas while battling pneumonia on top. This was the redirection I needed to get back on track. It's a breath of fresh air seeing such confidence and hearing such wisdom. These are all hugely important points. I think my top one is that I believe everyone should do at least some form of personal development work. Reading self help books, journalling, listening to podcasts, yoga & fitness. It helped me the most when I felt lost and put me back on track. I aim to use it once again to get back to my path. Thank you for this. ♥
Girl, I love you so much. I'm 17 rn (turning 18 in a month) and you literally gave me so much confidence. I have literally no friends except from online friends and the stress from school is almost unbearable but videos like yours give me strength. I think I´m having boxing classes soon and I´m so excited, wanna try something new. Thank you sm!! love ya

The way you explained all your glow up tips really struck a chord with me. I went through a lot of the same steps you did in a similar time frame, and certain steps are super relevant to things going on in my life right now. Hearing all of these things said so genuinely and matter of factly is incredibly cathartic. I might actually give journalling another try after this too haha
This made me so emotional… it was real and gave me such a huge realization and look into my own life.. I am so ready for that change. I crave that change. Let’s make this change. Tired of being lonely, self concious, and comparing. It is time for me to grow and become my many new phases of being me. Let’s go! Thank you so much for this video.. will definitely be rewatching this as my bible, reminder, and push! :))
I won’t lie, the first step had me thinking, because I’m never sure about the environment I’m in. My boyfriend and I argue sometimes, but then she started giving examples, and I feel bad because I kinda suppressed when he wanted to spend money for himself, only because he was the only income at the time, but thinking about it, I’m the more toxic one, because I make him feel bad and I didn’t notice that till now. I definitely need to mentally glow up
damn the part where you said little via is triggered and you have to tell yourself you’re safe is SOOO REAL i literally must do this every day to re-regulate
This is crazy how I found this video. I’m stagnant in my glow up and I couldn’t understand why. I really needed this video because it really is my mind. I’m really thankful for you making this video.
Omg Thank you for making this video ♥️😭 I’ve been worried about how am I going to be glow-up like others and feel like my life is miserable recently, but what you said in this vids really calm me down and meant to me a lot.
Such a valuable video! I don’t often promote books, but the book women’s magic truths on borlest is an exception. It’s packed with insights on wealth and self-care that are not widely known. All the best to everyone
doing things scared is actually such touching advice for me... I have anxiety and I thought I would have to wait it out to do things, like talking to a random cashier or asking for something. But one of the biggest things I did, I did it scared. scared literally out of my mind honestly, I was sweaty and it felt like a fever dream. "Am I really doing this right now...?!" But I knew that there would never be a perfect time to say it. I had planned a whole day of what I was going to say, when I was going to say it, and to whom. But I had to just jump into it and honestly, I'm glad I did. I hope 2024 treats all my anxious and insecure girlies well, I understand. Hopefully, I do glow up mentally! :D
I didn't know you until today, I love how you talk on cam and the sort of advice you give, I'll check out more of your videos, you rock guuuuurl. Damn, I'd love having a friend like you, or a gf lul, well maybe 10 years older, but yah u cool, way to go!
The tip 6 “go to gym” is just your positive form of coping. Exercising specifically and it can be other things like walking, cleaning, and hands-on stuff. Whenever I walk when I feel unhappy I feel so much better because I don’t really think to much
I really do think your tips really help get a better grip in your life. Few weeks ago, i broke up with my best friend because she didn't want to accept who I was and how I'm going to be more confident. Even before the argument, (i reflected on it) I've realized that I wasn't socializing since I was too scared that my ex-best friend would judge me for who I am. If i answer too many question, she thinks I'm a nerd(negatively), If i act silly she thinks I'm cringe, If I'm too quiet she thinks I'm boring. After this break, I have more positive mindsets and goals to work on. I feel like cutting toxic people out of your life can really guide you to who you want to be and how you want to feel in life.
"cut off toxic people", the first tips and i think that's what started my 'glow up' proccess. Not only does it had impacted my confidence and personality, but it also impacted my career to the better. I think having non toxic and mutually beneficial friendship is essential to glowing up
i was doing some research today on what sort of content is available on 'how to overcome despression' and i couldn't find many videos with a solid outline of actionable steps and mindset changes. later i randomly started watching this video because the thumbnail was alluring. AND YES! THIS is what i was searching for. i could relate to Via SO much because I've been through a lot of those steps too, and i found myself just agreeing with her, point after point. i loved your video, Via. This can truly be someone's step by step guide out of depression. 💖
I can definitely relate to the hyper-indepenced piece. Thank you for mentioning that cause it's like I have the OPPOSITE issue. I'm terrified of people and the world around me but I don't really know how to cope with it either.
The way my jaw DROPPED when you said that the only rulebook you need to be following is how you feel... girl!!! I relate SO hard to feeling like there's a correct way to navigate something (and that everyone else was somehow taught it but you??) and you just put into words the advice I've been searching for on it. Thank you so much 😭😭

Oh no, you’re 30 that’s basically dead, you’ll never have a nice life now-you should just give up because you’re only allowed to be happy between 17 and 25 😂😂😂
What the fuck are y’all onnnnnnnn
Girl stop feeling ashamed for existing and go live your life!
weird, but I just found your videos because youtube recommended them to me and it's really the first time I feel REPRESENTED with something, the way you describe how you feel and etc etc, really makes me feel safe, tysm Via
literally same :)
my world gets so peaceful when I listen to via
OMG you actually did it. That's crazyyyy. When Via says she's gonna be a consistent poster, she's gonna be a consistent poster. She will grind that shi out. We love you! MUAH ❤Alright now time to watch this video. Got pen and paper ready lol
HAHAHA ILYYYSMM MUAHHH
These videos from time to time are like therapy to me
GIRL, you are an inspiration, from your thoughts about being insecure, to being alone, you're helping people out here.
I came here from one video, and everything I've seen since then has just hit so close to home. One thing after another, I don't know how she always has the things I need. I've been questioning how to actually fix things, and I love that this is so authentic. Not some random manifestation crap or superficial advice-- just real experience. Finally.
You really impact a lot of people, Via, and thanks for that
"Believe that life can be good" that's something that i need to remind myself more often. Thank u girl 💛
her videos is just a comfort space
i started my youtube 2 months ago as a way to escape a job and degree i hated.
i soon became obsessed with the numbers and was constantly comparing myself to people that i looked up to. social media became a game that i just had to win.
it was horrible and i had to remove myself from the social media "mindset" (dopamine detoxing) so that i wouldn't burn out.
this video is so incredibly important. knowing to put yourself first is everything. love this.
Feeling the same about numbers on social media but definitely reminding myself that numbers done define us ❤❤❤
This is a great channel for physically and mentally glowing up Via
With "should spread kindness, not niceness" you mean not trying to please everyone?
@@turquesa411 Yes! Ive always been a "nice" person ! Not kind. Ive always been the people pleaser always giving, expecting and getting dissapointed but still stayed. I give now, I dont expect when spreading kindness but I dont stay if im not treated right ❤️
omg i am turning 15 too😭
@@a.m.1939me too 😂😂
I love that you say be who you're and that will attract the person that you exactly enjoy to be with. in highschool I pretend to be someone else to fit in that group of friend and looking back, I never once felt happy.
Once you remove those toxic people from your life, it’ll only go up from here 🤍🤍🤍
Thank you for this needed video, Via! We’re so proud of your growth!
Via is our internet bestie if not for other but for me fight me!!! Love you sm. You're tips and words are motivational✨🤍
I've never felt so seen. So understood. And so guided
love from france
A lot of these tips I've been wanting to implement for years but struggled. Watching this list is helping reinforce and reaffirm the things I want for myself. I think my struggle is reminding myself that yes, I can become the person I want to be. I think I'll try watching this video once a week to try to stay inspired.
Girl I am on a self care and self improvement journey and wow all the things you’re saying is SO in my energy.
This video is officially my anthem for my self care journey.
this is honestly the only channel that actually helps me
Via is literally the reason I’ve become confident in myself. She’s also the reason why I’m not afraid to do things by myself anymore💖💖 Thank you, Via!!!💖💖💖
one of the first "glow up" videos ive seen that actually explains psychologically backed ways to improve your life in a digestable and entertaining way :) rlly needed this, great work!
Literally no idea why tears are welling up but thank you Via, you're like an older sister i never had giving advice
This video is my safe place... always thought about these things but hearing you making a list and putting your perspective through it makes my soul rest. THANK YOU... The best glow up is a mental Glow Up everything else comes naturally
via is literally everyone's big sis at this point
Babe you are so wise! Thank you for sharing these amazing pieces of advice! 😘
I was waiting for this video for the whole day. Tysm Via, I missed your RUclips content 🫂🤍
you're so pretty, love ❤
I just came across this channel randomly and I absolutely love the way she motivates me. It made me think a lot of stuff through and I love how frank she is like she is Honest af! I gained so much confidence from 1 video itself
MOTHER FINALLY POSTED
I wish I had an older sister like you to teach me how to see and face life and for me to share and express my feelings and emotions ...🥺🥺🥺
When I look at Via, it makes me wanna be like her. She shines even brighter when she does things that she likes and I just wanna be able to do it too... Thank you Via ❤
ngl holy shit i needed this, especially since I've been super down lately with my own image and how to become more "likable"
my biggest piece of advice: PATIENCE. over the past 5 years my entire life has changed for the better, but it's been slow, hard work. i'm still in the middle of it, im not where i want to be yet. i've spent years beating myself up for not moving fast enough, improving fast enough, feeling better fast enough. my main point of growth has always been my mental health, and beating myself up only ever slowed me down. i'm still working on having patience, but for how cheesy it is- patience really IS a virtue. you need to take it slow and be kind to yourself. you are a flower, if you overwater it and bombard it with sun and heat and soil, you will crush it. give it time and you will see
This is so comforting and helpful! Thanks Via!
This is everything... When i went through that realization about my mentality... Things started looking up ✨
Girl, I love you so much. I'm 17 rn (turning 18 in a month) and you literally gave me so much confidence. I have literally no friends except from online friends and the stress from school is almost unbearable but videos like yours give me strength. I think I´m having boxing classes soon and I´m so excited, wanna try something new. Thank you sm!! love ya

Via aparecendo quando a gente mais precisa. Surreal!
Tenho 23, hoje é dia 03/04/24 um domingo, e sexta-feira 01/03/24 eu pedi demissão do meu trabalho. Estou à procura do meu glow up da melhor forma possível.
These tips were actually amazing. Thanks for being real.
That’s a smart move! More friends on board means more fun and extra bonuses to go around. Let’s spread the word
4:28 bro this tip literally targeted me so much 😭💗
This made me so emotional… it was real and gave me such a huge realization and look into my own life..
I definitely need to mentally glow up
"another person's beauty doesn't diminish your own" this is so true!!
i get flashbacks everytime i watch Via's intros cause she always say the same things 🤣 its so funny and i like it
damn the part where you said little via is triggered and you have to tell yourself you’re safe is SOOO REAL i literally must do this every day to re-regulate
This is crazy how I found this video. I’m stagnant in my glow up and I couldn’t understand why. I really needed this video because it really is my mind. I’m really thankful for you making this video.
Omg Thank you for making this video ♥️😭 I’ve been worried about how am I going to be glow-up like others and feel like my life is miserable recently, but what you said in this vids really calm me down and meant to me a lot.
i love your videos so much. you feel like a bigger sister that ive never had. thank you for sharing your kind wisdom with us
Such a valuable video! I don’t often promote books, but the book women’s magic truths on borlest is an exception. It’s packed with insights on wealth and self-care that are not widely known. All the best to everyone
Scam
LOVE YOUR VIDEOS MAAM AND ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE ENERGETIC INTRO
idk if its just me but the before pic is amazing too- you look so happy!! but the fact u can achieve all your goals like this amazing ur an aspiration
doing things scared is actually such touching advice for me... :D
this is something i really really needed, even though inside i knew all of it, getting it told is great for me, thank you via:’-)
I have followed you since maybe a week and i really liked you and i like how you don't show us how perfect you are like others
I feel like cutting toxic people out of your life can really guide you to who you want to be and how you want to feel in life.
you're so pretty!! you looke like a k-pop idol
"cut off toxic people", the first tips and i think that's what started my 'glow up' proccess. Not only does it had impacted my confidence and personality, but it also impacted my career to the better. I think having non toxic and mutually beneficial friendship is essential to glowing up
the self-awareness in this creator is stellar
i was doing some research today on what sort of content is available on 'how to overcome despression' and i couldn't find many videos with a solid outline of actionable steps and mindset changes. later i randomly started watching this video because the thumbnail was alluring. AND YES! THIS is what i was searching for. i could relate to Via SO much because I've been through a lot of those steps too, and i found myself just agreeing with her, point after point. i loved your video, Via. This can truly be someone's step by step guide out of depression. 💖
this woman is literally my comfort content creator omg
your words are so powerful and i just love the way you speak to ur audience and edit your vids LYSM QUEEN
You look so pretty and love this vlog so much, Via! ❤
She's DROP DEAD GORGEOUS 💋💋💋
I can definitely relate to the hyper-indepenced piece. Thank you for mentioning that cause it's like I have the OPPOSITE issue. I'm terrified of people and the world around me but I don't really know how to cope with it either.
The way my jaw DROPPED when you said that the only rulebook you need to be following is how you feel... girl!!! I relate SO hard to feeling like there's a correct way to navigate something (and that everyone else was somehow taught it but you??) and you just put into words the advice I've been searching for on it. Thank you so much 😭😭
LOVE YOU VIA ! ❤ YOU’VE INSPIRED ME SO MUCH
the way my mood immediately gets better the moment via posts !! love your channel
